CHRIST THE VANQUISHER OF DEATH PART 2
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Death is loud, personal, and relentless, until the resurrection rewrites the ending. We open with resurrection greetings and worship, then stand on 1 Corinthians 15 as we proclaim the Christian hope without softening it: the dead will be raised, the corruptible will put on incorruption, and “death is swallowed up in victory” through Jesus Christ. That promise is meant to strengthen the weak, encourage the depressed, and raise dead hopes that life has tried to bury.
From there, we connect Easter to everyday faith by returning to Jesus’ words in John 14 about a prepared place in the Father’s house. Heaven is not a vague idea we mention at funerals; it is a real reward that calls for real obedience. We talk about why Jesus endured the road to Calvary and how that cost challenges us not to quit when we are close to breakthrough, because God remains our refuge through trying times.
We also trace key moments from Jesus’ final week: his purposeful entry into Jerusalem, the cleansing of the temple as a house of prayer, and the rebuke of unfruitfulness that exposes a life full of leaves but empty of fruit. Then the conversation turns sober and urgent as we revisit Jesus’ end times warnings, deception, tribulation, and the truth that his second coming includes judgment. The call is simple and direct: receive Christ, live ready, and let resurrection faith shape your choices now.

Resurrection Greetings And Praise
SPEAKER_01Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. We come to you recovery greetings and the living word of God. In the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Christ has conquered the dead. Hallelujah. Let us pray. Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our wonderful Lord and God, the only one who promised and defeated death, the one who gave us free victory. We thank you, Lord. Father, as we go into your word today, let the power of resurrection arise, strengthen the weak, encourage the depressed, and raise our dead hopes and aspirations. Father, remind us that you are the Lord, and that your power changes not. Thank you, our glorious God, for we have prayed and believed in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen. I read now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you of a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye at the last trumpet, for the trumpets will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed, for this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortar must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption and this mortar has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that it is written, death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? OH, where is your victory? The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah. Brethren, last week we discussed the major value change in our life that our Lord Jesus Christ brought to us by his death and resurrection. This brought to reality the possibility of a great life with our God in his kingdom after death. This was what Jesus promised us when he was ascending into heaven, saying in John chapter 14, verses 1 to 3 that let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me. In my father's house are many mansions. If it were not so, I will have told you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself. That where I am, there you may be also. Of course, brethren, this is our anchor in faith that we have a place after this present world that is not just better, but reserved for those who faithfully serve and obey our Lord Jesus Christ while on earth. It's our prized reward for our labor after this world. It's our harvest after the toiling here. I pray that whatever it will cost us, we will not miss heaven in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Because of the cost that I just mentioned, that is why Jesus Christ endured all the mockery and the pains on the road to Calvary. As may mothers, we cannot endure many of the happenings before Christ was finally laid on the cross for us. Many will cry all week to the events or even run away. Of course, Jesus Christ knew ahead all this and was very prepared for it. He was not afraid of death, rather, he kept warning us on the vital notes and warning before his second coming to us. He was already seen beyond his death and resurrection. He was already talking of his second coming. Now, these are some of the events that played out in the last week with Jesus Christ on the road to Calvary. Number one, he got prepared. Jesus knew that the climax of his mission was approaching. Hence, the first thing he did was to celebrate the joy that would come after what he will go through. He rode through the streets of Jerusalem. He could see his victory even ahead of the suffering. Of course, not minding his knowing the inner mind of the followers, he celebrated an accomplishment of his mission on earth. This celebration also established the confessions of the multitude in Matthew chapter 21, verse 9 saying, Then the multitude who went before those who followed cried out, saying, Husannah to the Son of David, blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Husanna in the highest. Now this encourages us that we should not give up at the edge of our victory because of the challenges that will come. God is our strength and refuge always. May God Himself assist us through our trying times in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Number two, he went to clean the temple. Jesus went to clean the temple. He knew that the temple is one of the sources of evangelism. No matter how rough and dirty a river is, if the source is pure, over time the lower course will remain clean. We must all rebuke everyone, criminalizing the temple of God. Matthew chapter 21, verse 13 says, and he said to them, It is written, My house shall be called a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves. I pray that every manifestation of thieves and criminals in the house of God today, the power of the Holy Spirit will expose them and change them in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Number three, he rebuked the unfruitful. He rebuked the unfruitful. Now the most painful situation for a farmer, for instance, is to plant water, remove weeds, and even fertilize a plant. And all that that plant has to show for it is leaves everywhere, no fruits. Many have been going to churches and crusades for prayers, going to mountains with no visible fruits for God. All they are still asking for God is abundant blessings. Yes, it's good, but I pray that we will not miss our season of fruitfulness in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Win a soul for Christ today, and the host of heaven will be happy with you. Luke chapter 15, verse 7 says, I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over 99 just persons who need no repentance. Number four. He spoke about end time and the period of great tribulations. Christ spoke about the end time and the period of great tribulations. Jesus did not leave us ignorant of the end time and the great tribulation to come. In Matthew chapter 24, verses 3 to 6, Jesus narrated, saying, Now as he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age. And Jesus answered and said to them, Take heed that no one deceives you, for many will call me my name, saying, I am the Christ, and will deceive many. Brethren, from all that is happening now, it will be better we take our faith in Christ very seriously. The end is near. My prayer is that Christ will meet us doing his perfect will at his second coming. Amen. Number five, he warned us about the second coming as a judge. He warned us about the second coming as a judge. Jesus Christ did not leave us in dark as to his assignment in the second coming. Not as an evangelist anymore, no, or as a teacher, but as a judge. Matthew chapter 25, verse 32 says, All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate them one from another. As a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. Are you ready for him? Where will you be in judgment? I pray. We will have the grace to reign with him in glory in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Number six, he was ready to die for us. He was ready to die for us. Jesus knew he would be good in our place as a remittance for our sins. He did not run, neither was he afraid. His death was voluntary and in total submission to the will of his father. Matthew chapter 26, verse 2 says, You know that after two days is the Passover, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified. This love cannot be explained, but Christ did it for us out of his love for us and compassion for our soul. Will you surrender your life to him today so that we will all inherit eternal life by virtue of this great sacrifice? Number seven, he was betrayed. Unfortunately, the road to the cross was tied with successive human betrayal from his disciple Judas, who was his treasurer, that sold him, to Peter, that denied him, to the first trial by Pontus Pilate. Jesus does not betray his determination to save mankind. In Matthew chapter 26, verse 21, he says, Now, as they were eating, he said, Assuredly, I say to you, one of you will betray me. I pray that your own betrayer, despite all that you have heard and read about the gospel, will not be worse than that of Judas, who went with him and still sold him. Missing every brother and sisters, means missing it all. As we celebrate this season of Easter, yes, Christ has gotten free victory for mankind. But those who we benefit are those who we accept and confess their belief in him. John chapter 1, verse 12 says, But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become children of God. To those who believe his name. Hallelujah. Romans chapter 8, verses 16 and 17 says, The Spirit Himself be as witness with our spirit that we are children of God. And if children, then hears, hears of God and joint hearts with Christ. If indeed we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified together. Brethren, Christ came to destroy every obstacle to our salvation, including death that Satan uses to harass mankind. He was not afraid to die. He celebrated dying and swallowed up death in victory. We can then confidently challenge death. Where is thy sting? And hate, where is thy victory? Hallelujah. Next week, brethren, we will be discussing the love that kept Christ on the cross. Not the nails, no, not the soldiers, no, but his love for mankind. And we'll also be discussing the victory on the cross. We want to thank you for your patience in listening to this broadcast. We believe you have been blessed. Kindly help share the good news of Christ's victory over death with others. God bless you richly. Amen. You can also listen to this message and several other previous ones, other podcasts streaming. Good named Voice of Trinity. God bless you richly as you do so. Amen. My name is Benjamin Olasu Kami. Let us pray. Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord in resurrection and life, we worship you. Thank you for your confidence in facing death on our behalf. Thank you for your great warnings to prepare us for your second coming, judgment and your kingdom. Father we pray that your word will assist us to be ready always. Father, when the trumpets shall sound, may we see you before sin death. Make our heart to yearn daily for your return as a judge and count us to be worthy of your kingdom. Thank you, Lord, for doing this for us. For we have prayed in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
