WHEN WE DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Confusion is exhausting, especially when pressure is loud and the “right” decision feels hidden. We sit with a hard truth and a freeing one at the same time: our personal knowledge is limited, but God’s knowledge isn’t. Building from 1 John 3:20, we talk about why your heart can feel overwhelmed, why fear can show up even in strong people, and why turning to God for counsel is not weakness, it’s wisdom.
We walk through the story of King Jehoshaphat facing an invasion, then connect it to modern life: betrayal, enemies multiplying, and the shock of seeing people you once helped come against you. We also bring in Proverbs 17:13 as a clear warning about repaying good with evil, because bitterness can trap us right when we need clarity most. From there, we unpack Jehoshaphat’s response as a practical blueprint for Christian living when you don’t know what to do: admit the fear, seek the Lord, pray with faith, add fasting when the moment calls for it, and choose humility instead of self-reliance.
We end with real-world guidance you can apply today: obey what God has already made clear, search the Bible for wisdom, surrender control, wait without rushing out of panic, and take the next faithful step. If you’re battling frustration, decision fatigue, or spiritual uncertainty, this message is designed to steady you and point you toward direction from God. Welcome And Opening Worship
SPEAKER_00Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. We welcome you to the hour of the word of our living God in the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
God Knows What We Don’t
SPEAKER_00The Bible in the first book of John, chapter 3, verse 20, 1 John chapter 3, verse 20, reminded us as believers that only God has absolute knowledge. It is written that God is greater than our hearts, and He knows everything. What does man know on his own? Nothing. We know nothing from our personal knowledge. All our good inspirations come from God. Our wonderful Father and our God, we worship you. Thank you for this wonderful moment to be in your presence. Our Father and our Lord, please glorify your name in today's broadcast. Let the speaker and the hearers be mightily blessed. In Jesus' mighty name, we have prayed. Amen.
When You Don’t Know What To Do
SPEAKER_00The topic of our message is when we don't know what to do. When we don't know what to do. Neither know we what to do. But our eyes are upon thee, Lord. Our eyes are upon thee. Hallelujah.
Jehoshaphat’s Crisis And Our Own
SPEAKER_00Brethren, when King Yoshaphat's land was invaded, he cried unto the Lord. The children of Moab, Ammon, and with them the other side of the Ammonites. They all came against Jehoshaphat to battle. He was afraid of the multitude. He sought the Lord and proclaimed fasting and prayers throughout the land of Judah. And Judah gathered themselves together to ask for help from the Lord. Brethren, this is the situation that many of us find ourselves in life. We usually realize that people that we have favored and sacrificed for, in the past, we suddenly revolt. They will join hands, they will even recruit others to face us in battle. They use our benevolence to gather contact and strength. They forget the period when we had the choice of not helping them at all. We could have probably chosen to even destroy them. But by the help and inspiration of God, we did help them. Thank God the Bible confirmed to us concerning people who repair good deeds with evil. In the book of Proverbs, chapter 17, verse 13. Proverbs 17, verse 13, the Bible says, Whosoever rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house. It is a covenant of God. We must all avoid this type of punishment by always thinking of the day our benefactors decided to help us. Again, I think we can also learn from the steps taken by King Joshaphat in this story.
Lesson One: Naming Your Fear
SPEAKER_00Lesson number one. He was afraid. Yes. Let nobody tell you that it's only the weak that fears. Fear will come. Pour out your fears and ask God for wisdom. He will grant us the spirit to overcome fear. In Isaiah chapter 41, verse 10. Isaiah 41, verse 10, the Bible says, Fear thou not, for I am with thee. Be not dismayed, for I am thy God. I will strengthen thee, yea. I will help thee. Yea. I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Trust God to give you wisdom and strength to overcome fear.
Lessons Two And Three: Pray And Fast
SPEAKER_00Lesson number two. He sought the Lord. He sought the Lord. Anytime we experience darkness, light is the solution. The Bible in James chapter 5, verse 16b. James 5, verse 16b says, the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. If there is a man that is ready to pray, there is a great God that is ready to answer our prayers. He will fight our battles. When the Israelites at the bank of the Red Sea cry to the Lord, the reply to God was very assuring. In Exodus chapter 14, verse 13. Exodus 14, verse 13, he says, And Moses said unto the people, fear ye not. See the salvation of the Lord, which he will show you today. For the Egyptian whom you have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever. I also pray that every area of your life that confusion and frustration are set in. God will grant you direction and initiative that will confuse your adversary in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Lesson number three. He proclaimed fasting and prayers. When you get to a point where you can abandon food and the pleasures of life to talk to God, then serious requests and answers are loading. In the book of Isaiah, chapter 58, verse 9. Isaiah 58, verse 9, the Bible says, Then shall thou call, and the Lord shall answer. Thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. God will also answer someone today as he cry to him in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Lessons Four And Five: Weakness And Focus
SPEAKER_00Lesson number four. He declared his weakness to God. He declared his weakness to God. When we kneel down, we are just telling God, you are our help. We are like the lame, the helpless. God will raise someone's arm today and help in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Please don't come back after your answer prayer, beating your chest that you did it. Tell your word that it was God that raised you. It was God that helped you. Your testimony will encourage others to trust God. And finally, lesson number five. He set his eyes unto God. He set his eyes unto God. When we pray, we must have an expectation. Read the scriptures as you pray and wait patiently for God to respond. Hear what the Bible says of those that wait upon the Lord. In the book of Isaiah, chapter 40, verse 31. Isaiah 40, verse 31, it says, But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run, they shall not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
Obedience, Scripture, Patience, Next Steps
SPEAKER_00Brethren, when we do not know what to do, that's when we should turn to God in prayers. Focus on obedience to his known commands. Seek wisdom from the Bible. It is instructive that surrendering control, waiting patiently, and taking faithful next steps will bring clarity. Rest in God's timing instead of rushing ahead out of panic.
Single Prayer Point For Clear Guidance
SPEAKER_00I want you all to join me in this, our single prayer point today as we round up. We say, My Father and my God, please teach me to turn to you always for counsel, for directions, for guidance and wisdom when I am confused of what to do. Do not allow me, Lord, to take stupid decisions or allow frustrations to make me stumble. Uphold me, Lord, in your right hand. Sustain me and inspire me. Let me come out of every riddle in a victorious and joyful manner in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Everyone and anyone waiting for my fall in time of trials will be disappointed in the new season of greatness that the grace of God will transform me into. Thank you, my God, my help and my strength. In Jesus' mighty name we have prayed. Amen.

Final Prayer And Blessing
SPEAKER_00Let us pray. Father, we want to thank you for this wonderful opportunity to learn at your feet. You have been a help in ages past, Lord. You are the only counselor, teacher, and mentor that we have. Thank you for being there always to help us and to grant us wisdom. Father, we pray that the wisdom and patience to turn to you always, even at the most critical times of our lives, you will grant us. Devil will never use confusion again to cheat us to failure. Let it be so, Lord, for we have prayed in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
