Bridget Eileen Rivera is a sociologist, writer, and committed Christ-follower. She is the author of a book titled Heavy Burdens, and her work explores orthodox theology and LGBTQ issues in the church.

In this episode, we discuss Bridget’s journey of coming out in the church, confronting shame, and embracing a faith that doesn't demand she be straight or celibate to be loved by God.
