This is your daily horoscope for Monday, july 21st 2025. The action starts out around 4.30 AM, when the moon in Gemini forms a sextile with Mercury retrograde in Leo. In Gemini forms a sextile with Mercury retrograde in Leo. We know right off the bat that this is going to wrap in some of your personal Mercury retrograde stories. However, the moon is meeting with Mercury retrograde in a gentle and supportive way, so this could be a helpful time for reflection. It could be a moment where maybe you do hear from someone from your past, but maybe it's someone you're excited to hear from. This could be a time where you are dreaming about an ex or an ancestor or someone who you've lost touch with. If you are asleep around this time, this energy is also super helpful for returning to old ideas, things that used to light you up, maybe picking up plans that you had tossed aside for whatever reason, and using your mind in new ways to explore subjects and interests that used to fascinate you In general. This energy is also really great for smooth conversations, and people can be more open-minded, open-hearted and understanding, so this can also help you smooth over any disagreements or misunderstandings as well. Now, around 11am, the moon in Gemini will form a conjunction with Venus in Gemini, and this is simply adorable. When the moon and Venus come together, typically it's an exciting moment for connection. Maybe you learn lucky news. Conversations, in particular, because we have these two planets coming through in Gemini can feel supportive and exciting. This is a great time to brainstorm, to share your thoughts, your ideas and feelings with other people and just knowing that they are going to be more than likely well-received and the energy is just social and lighthearted, great for connecting or hanging out with someone else in your life. Now, around 1 PM, the moon and Gemini is going to form a square with Mars and Virgo. Now you're going to want to pay attention because on Wednesday, july 23rd, venus and Gemini is going to form a square with Mars and Virgo and today we have the moon traveling between both of those planets. So that means it is actually activating that transit that's coming later in the week and it's giving you a little bit of a preview of what to expect.

When Venus and Mars square one another, typically it marks a moment of conflict in our close relationships, and this is something that you can see when the moon clashes into Mars today. So this especially can be a moment where you are feeling overwhelmed with anxiety or overthinking, or feeling like you need to make an important decision, but you don't know which one to do. We have these planets coming through in mutable signs, so you could be really juggling a lot of different ideas and options around, but you feel under pressure to take action or make a decision. Sometimes words can be your swords and weapon of choice, especially because we have both of these planets coming through in Mercury ruled signs.
