Speaker 2:

laura surprise, we're in person oh my gosh, it's literally a gift, an honor, a blessing yes well, I have to say this into my microphone I am with my beloved Stephanie in IRL.

Speaker 3:

It's like a dream. It's a dream come true. When she picked me up at the airport, I was like, is this really happening?

Speaker 2:

I know because we had been talking about it for months, for years.

Speaker 3:

Yes, the last time I came here was two years ago. Yeah, so it's felt like a long time, yeah, and we've been talking about it because you haven't been to New York since then either.

Speaker 2:

Right, right, oh no, I thought you were pregnant with Sloan when you came, and I saw you, yes, and then you came to LA and you met Sloanie when she was just like a little bump on the logs.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yes, but like home time. Yes, has been two years.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so we are bringing you we haven't done a forecast together in person.

Speaker 3:

Since New York, since New York, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so it's been a while.

Speaker 3:

It's been a minute and we are bringing you August August.

Speaker 2:

August horoscopes. And August has some of the best of the best and the worst of the worst. Yeah. So you're going to want to buckle up.

Speaker 3:

Yes, should we start with some of the recap of July?

Speaker 2:

Absolutely.

Speaker 3:

So how was everyone's cancer season?

Speaker 2:

Horrible.

Speaker 3:

Cried the whole time.

Speaker 2:

Yes, yes, it was just trigger, trigger, trigger, sad, sad, sad. But I feel like I really did a lot of emotional purging and resets and like have cleared some old stories and limiting beliefs.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and some subconscious things with family or not subconscious, but conscious family, or not subconscious, but conscious family. And yeah, I feel like with jupiter they're expanding everything too. It just felt every, everything felt more raw, yeah, and expansive yes, in those ways.

Speaker 2:

And then we had that whole sign square from saturn and neptune. So it was just a vibe. Yeah, felt more intense than normal. So if your all cancer experience was a little bit more intense this season, just cosmic confirmation You're not alone.

Speaker 3:

But now we're in Leo season and Stephanie is a double Leo right.

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 3:

You're August Leo.

Speaker 2:

August Leo August.

Speaker 3:

Leo. So let's just do some of the recap. These are things that stood out to us. On July 1st. There was I don't remember if this was the opening or announcement of Alligator Alcatraz, aka Concentration Camp yeah chart. When Jupiter enters the sign of cancer, it can give themes around homeland security and nationalism.

Speaker 2:

And straight up racism.

Speaker 3:

And racism. And it opened in Florida, which is interesting because this happened right before the flooding happened. Right, Wasn't it Florida or Texas?

Speaker 2:

Oh, texas, texasas, texas, yeah, yeah, yeah, that was when neptune station retrograde.

Speaker 3:

yes, the flood yeah yes, um, and then the very next, then the three days after that, uh, july 4th, which is the usa solar return. The house passed the big beautiful bill under a long void, of course, moon in libra, and I think it was last month's forecast when you mentioned, um, how ronald reagan would um use void moons yeah, or his astrologer, yeah um, joan quigley, right, yeah, yeah to yeah.

Speaker 2:

Specifically would use these void moons because nobody's quote-unquote paying attention and you can kind of like get away with stuff.

Speaker 3:

And didn't they do it in the middle of the night yeah, yeah and jd vance had to have the final vote right to yeah, yeah, and in this bill was some, I guess, like pullbacks on birthright citizenship, which is interesting because the last time Neptune was in Aries was when the 14th Amendment was passed, and that was when the 14th Amendment was ratified. That was when birthright citizenship became a thing in the United States. So it was interesting to see this Neptune and Aries them trying to take some of those rights back, essentially for people who were born in the United States.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and there's so much in this bill.

Speaker 3:

There was so much in this bill. Also, they increased funding for ICE, which is also very like eighth house cancer stellium. Right, we're going to protect our own or who we deem as citizens. Yeah, so we'll watch out for that. I saw a lot of astrologers actually questioning the void of course moon, because normally when things are passed on a void of course moon, nothing happens. But I think they use those energetic times purposefully.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah so we shall see. Uh, the very next day there was the flooding in texas and 27 girls were missing at camp mystic and I thought that name of the camp- was so interesting I know Neptune retrograde, yeah, and the fact that it was flooding, which is like Neptune's, neptune's water Certification, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and the fact that this administration has directly cut funding for the National Weather Service, their service um, there were no texts to alert people of what was coming, um, until like an hour after the flooding. And, yeah, that's a direct result of this fascist takeover um.

Speaker 3:

Rest in peace to those, yeah, all everybody that lost loved ones flooding in Texas. And on July 6th the Handala was to set sail to break the siege in Gaza. They announced that, but they were actually leaving on July 13th and this is after the Madeline had tried earlier in June and we all knew that it wasn't going to go much anywhere because of that overcoming square from Saturn and Neptune and Aries. But I think the whole point of that was to start a movement of potential flotillas, and so this is the second one and I think they're on the sea now.

Speaker 2:

Yep, yep. I just saw an update this morning. There was like a loss of communication yesterday, but they picked it up again.

Speaker 3:

And there's US Americans on board this one. I think there's five of them now.

Speaker 2:

Okay, yeah, I didn't know that the first one.

Speaker 3:

I don't think there were any American citizens on that one. Okay, and that's another signification, obviously, of Saturn and Neptune, because they're trying to break the boundaries of something, the borders of something, neptune being again the sea and humanitarian aid. And it's interesting because Neptune is retrograde and it's like they're trying again. Yeah. They're like revisiting that mission. Yeah.

Speaker 3:

July 7th, love, this MAGA started turning on Trump because Trump would not release the Epstein files, and so there were a couple of transits that related to this one Uranus entering Gemini, which is, like I thought, interesting because Uranus is like disruption, right, gemini is the messenger, the news there was a full moon in Capricorn that was happening later that week, and then Saturn and Neptune are now retrograde.

Speaker 2:

And Trump's Gemini sun. And even though his Gemini sun is very far away I think it's like later degree, 23 degree or something his chart ruler is the sun, so just a big ingress like that is gonna be felt by an outer planet. So I think this is a major foreshadow for what we can expect for his uranus and gemini story. Um, I don't think that this is simply going to go away, but I do think that even if he were to not be the president anymore like we're in full-on fascism, like it's some people are like we just need to get him out of there I'm like that's not going to solve it. Like we're like global majority people of the global majority that live in the United States have been in our under occupation now and that's not just going to end if he leaves. There's other trash bags.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's like when you're um when you kill the head of the snake, it just regrows its head. It's like that, yeah. Um and also his 11th house is like his followers.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so I mean, if you oh very uranian yeah, very uranian rebelling against them.

Speaker 3:

They're like no, um, and it was interesting to watch some of the podcast bros. Be like wait, he lied to us. And everyone being like I'm loving the memes.

Speaker 2:

I'm living for them.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, he's a convicted felon.

Speaker 2:

He lies every day. Yes, yes, oh my gosh. I saw the. Did you read that report where it's like he made a card for Jeffrey Epstein and there's like he drew a picture of like a naked woman on the card and like he was like I've never drawn anything in my life. That's like no, he's like he was like I've never drawn anything in my life. That's like what he said. That was his response and people are like that's insane to say yeah, like of course, that's an insane thing to say, yeah but no surprise yeah, it's.

Speaker 3:

It's been really funny to watch maga, just like completely having their awakening yes, yes. Actually.

Speaker 2:

I'm here for it. Welcome. Collective consciousness Okay, we need each other to do this On July 17.

Speaker 3:

Did you see this? I'm sure you saw it. Yeah juice was stationing retrograde at a Coldplay concert, essentially like the CEO of this company called Astronomer, which, is so interesting, was caught having an affair with this HR exec.

Speaker 2:

Yes, and this was a couple of days before the Venus Mars square, which is relationship drama.

Speaker 3:

That's true, and it went so viral. Like everybody was talking about it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, you shouldn't cheat. I don't know, I don't know, maybe that's my fixed sign energy in me, but it was very Leo.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it was very just like they were, like you know, cuddling and dancing and then all of a sudden they were like on the big screen to like.

Speaker 2:

that is so, leo, like yeah.

Speaker 3:

And then on July 18th, the day Mercury did station retrograde, stephen Colbert was fired or his show was canceled. Fired or his show was canceled after a few days after he criticized the CBS and its parent company, paramount, for settling a lawsuit with Trump. And this is also very Uranus and Gemini right, and something that you mentioned in last month's forecast was that the last Uranus and Gemini was when they started doing like news telecasts.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. So legacy media is going to completely change through, and we're already seeing that. You know, we're seeing the attack on late night television. Trump wants to go after the other talk show hosts as well. I just saw yesterday his administration is threatening the View.

Speaker 2:

Oh, really, yeah, oh, I didn't see that so they're going after legacy media and we're definitely going to see a total shift. We already see a shift in how we're consuming information, like thanks for tuning in right, like we're part of that shift, um, but it's that was really stood out.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, it is interesting, with all of these outer planets in their like first one or two degrees, to see what the transit will be about. Like it's been interesting to witness and observe. Yeah, on June 24th, which essentially for us was yesterday, the new moon France recognizes Palestine as a state and this is a huge step, like huge. And this new moon is conjunct, israel's natal moon at four degrees of Leo, opposing the transiting Pluto at two degrees of Aquarius. So Israel's moon is essentially being opposed by the power of the people.

Speaker 2:

So we talked about this yesterday how, in Israel's birth chart, the moon rules the 10th house, the public perception, and for this new moon in particular, to be taking place on their moon opposite Pluto. It's revealing their shadow side. It's revealing their corruption, their violence and, yeah, like the genocide has been ongoing since 1948, been ongoing since 1948, before 1948. But people are really seeing it now, you know, and people are really more and more people are speaking up. Hailey Bieber shared something yesterday about it, you know.

Speaker 3:

I mean and that speaks to Leo, right, like the celebrities that were quiet, are now speaking up. Now.

Speaker 2:

Right, right, right. So we need more voices. It's like should you have spoken up yeah yeah, um welcome. But but yeah, welcome is kind of like a rough welcome, you know like okay, thanks for showing up, um, but we need more voices, so I think I just consider it a win, you know?

Speaker 3:

a win-win yeah so I was looking at palestine's chart last night, um, to see like what was in their chart, to have them being recognized right and uh, the palestine independence chart that most astrologers use is a virgo rising, and so right now mars is applying to a conjunction to the Ascendant and Uranus is applying to a conjunction to the natal Jupiter in the 10th whole sign house of Palestine, because I think their natal Jupiter is at 2 Gemini and then Saturn is exactly conjunct Palestine's natal Mars at one degree of Aries, yeah, so there's a lot going on in and I think they're going through an exact Saturn square um.

Speaker 3:

Israels and, of course, the united states chart that. I think the way in which they exist is going to completely change after these outer planet transits yeah, yeah, which absolutely? Hopefully inshallah is like for pal, the freedom and liberation of palestine always and forever. Yes, yeah, but that's really the uh recap, um, because we are recording this on July 25th, right? Yeah. So, yeah, I'm sure more of this will continue, but should we get on to August?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I just want to say also first that I love you so much. I love you so much. I just am so happy that we're here in person and we want to do this more in person, so we are going to have more news to share. But, like, this is like high quality production, this is for you. Like we want to thank you for being here with us. Like, how long have we been doing these forecasts? Years, two years, at least.

Speaker 3:

Oh, longer than two years, right Three years. Yeah, I think since 2022. Yeah, yeah, I think we started on a new moon in Sagittarius. Yes, yes, in 2022. Yeah, it was way before Sloan was here.

Speaker 2:

Yes, yes, and so we are cooking and dreaming and co-creating ways to elevate the production quality, and so we can do this in person, and it may need some of your help or assistance. So we'll keep you posted. Yeah, thank you for bringing that up because we love doing this.

Speaker 3:

I look forward to talking to Stephanie every month. We text each other all month like updates and what's going on. What have you noticed? And we deeply believe this is part of our purpose, so we eventually hope to meet some of you in person, maybe in a live studio audience kind of deal. We're just manifesting on this new moon in Gemini.

Speaker 2:

Yes, new moon in Leo.

Speaker 3:

Whoa Gemini was like a Freudian slip, yes, but we just wanted to say how appreciative we are that all of you listen and you support us.

Speaker 2:

And we're hoping to yeah, make it more interactive and continue to elevate the quality, and this is just part of our purpose. We love it so much and continue to elevate the quality, and this is just part of our purpose. We love it so much and we love each other so much. So, yeah, okay, august starts out with a little bit of a barf.

Speaker 3:

Right, well, okay, so yeah, venus in Cancer will square Saturn retrograde in Aries at one degree, and then it'll square Neptune. I think, at the end of the day, squares with Venus are positive in some way. Maybe not at first, but I think it is a benefic at the end of the day. So that's the positive spin. Yeah. But squares bring conflict. Yeah. Right, they're in the nature of Mars, so they're tension points, a crisis point.

Speaker 2:

It could be a day where you need to set a boundary for sure. That's like major boundary, a relational boundary, a relational boundary. Perhaps a contract ends, perhaps you're making a new commitment, perhaps a contract ends, perhaps you're making a new commitment. But there could also be some like amorphous, uncertain energy because of Neptune's involvement as well. So it's like, on one hand, your responsible side wants to come up, but then you're also feeling like I think when Venus squares Neptune, it's a lot of sensitivity, projection and relationships can come up as well and like um, or putting other people on a pedestal, like if you have put other people on a pedestal or if you engage in like parasocial relationships.

Speaker 3:

You might have some sort of reality check with that saturn energy too yeah, it's like putting boundaries with your family, because cancer is such like a like family oriented sign, whether for better or for worse. This could just also make you have blurred lines. Yeah, you could also just be confused in general, yeah, um, but I think again. I think ultimately venus is co-present with jupiter. They're two benefics. In cancer. Something's trying to grow in your cancer house and again, like these, these sign-based squares, are just going to keep happening yeah, it's an opportunity for growth.

Speaker 2:

It happens once every year. Venus squares Saturn, sometimes twice a year, and you're going to be fine.

Speaker 3:

It could be an ultimatum.

Speaker 2:

It could be an ultimatum.

Speaker 3:

You either commit to me or not.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, and it can bring disappointment, feelings of rejection or isolation. But if there is some sort of disappointment, I have been trying really, really hard to reframe rejection as redirection and protection from the universe. So if you receive a no, try to find the silver lining in that you could have been protected from a toxic boss that works at that job you were hoping for or who knows you know yeah, um yeah.

Speaker 3:

I think it can be constructive. I think all squares are moments where you can rise up to the occasion if you choose to, and I think ven Venus it. It speaks about relational, like relational um things in your life, also to yourself, and value money, um, yeah. Yeah. Okay, um August 6th Mars enters Libra. Until September 22nd.

Speaker 2:

You are our expert. I know you have to tell us.

Speaker 3:

Mars and Libra is peregrine, so it has no dignity.

Speaker 2:

And answers to itself.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, the reason why I went like ew is because it's going to start to square Jupiter and it's like Jupiter never gets like a little break. I think, there's like one moment in October where Jupiter doesn't have a square from anything and it's just. It could just be in its exaltation, and now it's a morning star, right, but I'm just like gosh. Yeah. The one amazing transit is like getting all these it's getting beat up where it's getting beaten up.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that once it does hit the square exactly is at the time of the, I think aries full moon and it's exactly on my midheaven TBD.

Speaker 3:

Wow.

Speaker 2:

I know Jupiter, Mars square.

Speaker 3:

Could be Okay. So Mars in Libra, so Mars wants to take action, it wants to sever, it wants to get after it. But then in the sign of Libra, which is a Venus ruled sign, it's like wait, but I have to consider the other person, I have to negotiate, I have to consider the other person, I have to negotiate, I have to be diplomatic, and mars doesn't want to do that. Mars just wants to do its own thing. So, in the one hand, it could be this like indecisive, kind of like neutral place for mars, um, and I hate a neutral ass bitch but um, but it could be great for, but, like a lot of politicians have, mars in Libra, it could be a great time to actually build bridges with people.

Speaker 3:

Conflict resolution yeah, and repair which Mars doesn't want to do. Mars loves conflict. Yeah. Which is why I think I try to have conflict resolution with people and try to repair. I mean, this is like a more recent development, but that's how you can use Mars.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, I think it can also be a busy time for collaborative projects, for signing new contracts, for setting boundaries in your relationships. But, yeah, definitely. And then the fight for justice, absolutely that is. Libra is about balance, but Libra is represented by the scales and cares deeply about justice. You don't get peace without justice right, and Libra, yes, focuses on. There's a big, I think, in the zeitgeist. It's like oh, libra likes to keep the peace, but Libra likes justice, law, order, consequences. Saturn is exalted in Libra. So, yes, the fight continues. Stand up for what you believe in. Fight for what you believe in.

Speaker 3:

Fight for what you believe in and on mars 8th it will try mars and libra will try uranus and gemini at one degree. So, like you were saying, this is a great day to like go out to a protest or speak out in social media or find your people like, like your community, local community, because Gemini is like your neighborhood. Yeah, this is a really good day.

Speaker 2:

You're trying something new, you're willing to take risks and you're combining your action, your drive, your motivation with your intuitive mind as well. So just kind of leading with instinct is going to be powerful this day. On the same day, we have one of the roughest transits of the year, though we also have Mars and Libra opposite Saturn in Aries.

Speaker 3:

And they're both in nuts, their favorite places.

Speaker 2:

Right. However, that means they have mutual reception, that's true. Good point.

Speaker 2:

That's true, I didn't even think about that. That could actually be helpful. Maybe it's actually going to be more constructive. So that does mean that there is some support and there are resources available. They're able to see one another a little bit and interested in one another instead of just being polar opposites. So yeah, in general, when Mars and Saturn are opposite in the sky, this is kind of like one of the harshest aspects of the year. Does it happen every year? Does it happen once every two years? I don't know, but I think once every two years. But yeah, I mean Mars, marshal energy on a mundane level is violence.

Speaker 3:

They're both malefics, yeah, and they're like authority, yeah, it's like you're um and and the personal level.

Speaker 2:

This could be like being confronted with an authority figure or a leader who's like um power tripping, yeah, abusing power yeah, so there's definitely going to be tension, conflict um mars and saturn when they team up also has that like stop and go energy where it's like mars really wants to move forward and do something, but saturn's like you're all, your tires are blown out. You know like you're not leaving.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, there's just something like you're like, oh, like frustrating energy I mean saturn is retro, so this is like going back to you know whatever, whenever it was at one degree last time I can't even when maybe even in June or something. But maybe this is something where you did want to stand up for something and you did want to act, or you wanted to speak out. And now mars is here. Because mars is a trigger, it's like an activation point, and so now it's like I'm gonna. I'm gonna do something now yeah, of course to do something oh, yeah, yeah, that's very

Speaker 2:

mars so it could be used in a like a productive, useful manner as well yeah but yeah, but in the mundane sense this is like this isn't yeah, yeah, yeah, it is not like, and it's reading and it's reactivating the october 23rd the aries the aries libra eclipse series. Um, so this does feel like an escalation and um, yeah, pay attention to the news around this time yeah, because also israel is a libra rising right.

Speaker 3:

um, so this is happening in their first and seventh. I'm even wondering if maybe like people finally like their allies right, start backing out. I mean, I don't think the US would, because that's like their little colony but, maybe you know, more and more countries will recognize Palestine.

Speaker 2:

And so it is.

Speaker 3:

That would be a big deal.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

August 9th is our first lunation of the month. It's a full moon in Aquarius, happening at 16 degrees at 3.55 am Eastern time Cute, okay, yeah.

Speaker 2:

And this is bringing us back to January 29th, when we had the new moon in Aquarius. This full moon is being ruled by that Mars Saturn opposition that is baked into this full moon. So there is some sort of turning point, something that's being revealed or illuminated, something that you need to let go release, a boundary you need to set that has the nature of the Mars-Saturn opposition baked into it.

Speaker 3:

Yes, this is in the second deacon of Aquarius, which is the six of swords and the tarot, so it's a Mercury-rolled deacon, and in that card there's an image of um like almost like refugees being um rowed by a rower on a boat to safer shores yeah um, and since it's mercury, it's like maybe you're thinking about the future, maybe you're thinking about where you want to be, and like moving away from the past, because Aquarius is invite us to integrate our unique gifts and talents and leverage them for the collective.

Speaker 2:

So, whether that looks like volunteering, donating mutual aid everyone has different roles and abilities in the revolution. But maybe spend some time under this full moon considering how can you show up, how can you share some of your gifts? Hey, if you like making Excel sheets, reach out to an organization that's aligned and offer to do two hours of admin work a week. Like it can look like anything. It doesn't have to be necessarily just protesting the streets or whatever.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, necessarily just protesting the streets or whatever. Yeah, yeah, we all have a role in remembering that, because, also, leo and Aquarius are all about authenticity. At the end of the day, they just go about it in different ways. Right, for Leo it's the self, aquarius is through the group. So later on, mars and Libra will opposeune retrograde in aries at one degree, and I think all of these oppositions with mars and between mars and saturn, and then neptune, and then this full moon is kind of this like climax moment. What I find interesting is, after the full moon there will be a 22 hour and 55 minute void of course moon. So it's almost like all this energy gets like pumped up and then the moon won't make any aspects for almost 24 hours, and so the best things to do during a void of course moon is to rest and kind of like chill.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, right, drink water.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Take a cleansing, an intentional bath, rest.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's the best thing you can do Visit old friends, reflect, do some journaling, Because this isn't really. These are intense oppositions.

Speaker 2:

This is going to be kind of like one of the biggest moments of intensity in the year. There's still more to come later in the year, but Mars opposite Saturn is nothing ever to look forward to. But there are brighter stars ahead.

Speaker 3:

Yes, so Mars opposite Neptune. This could also be because Mars is answering to that Neptune, right? I mean, Neptune is answering to that Mars. It is maybe like going after your dreams and just being honest with what you imagine for yourself.

Speaker 2:

Also, when I think of Mars opposite Neptune, it also themes of sacrifice, so maybe you have to make a sacrifice in order to act in alignment for your dreams. Maybe something needs to change. It can really kick up confusion as well and projection and uncertainty the pedestalling of other people. And projection and uncertainty the pedestalling of other people. It also feels like escalation energy as well, like in a mundane level. But Mars opposite Neptune also gives you the courage to stand up for what you believe in and fight for the quote. Unquote underdog right.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, right, yeah, and maybe letting go of relationships that aren't in alignment with you, know your values anymore, and follow people on ig.

Speaker 3:

Oh yes, I love that I love doing a monthly purge it's fun yeah um on mark on august, 10th mars, and libra will try trine. Pluto and Aquarius retrograde at two degrees.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I like this energy. This feels constructive, it feels healing. I think you're going to be better able to embrace change instead of resist it.

Speaker 3:

right, because of that nice synergy between the planets and they're in air signs which are like about sharing ideas. Relational right so this could be another good day to go do some like community oriented action yeah, yeah, yeah yeah um, because I like using malefics in that way. How can I use the energy of the malefics and transmute it in a way that is for collective liberation, instead of feeling like I'm powerless and I don't have any kind of like power in doing anything?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, this is like a productive combination of quote unquote, malefic energy.

Speaker 3:

Yes, yeah, just as, like a tip, you might want to go to your family member's house or friends or places that normally you would avoid because you're afraid of confrontation, and start planting seeds. You know, like I think it's so easy for us to just want to be with people that think like us and that agree with us, right, but I think the real revolution comes in being the change. You know who said that quote? Be the change you want to see in the world. Yeah, yeah. But you can't do that if you're with people that think like you.

Speaker 3:

I think it's uncomfortable because you want everyone to agree with you all the time. But I think sometimes the real change and revolution comes in, like facing your racist uncle.

Speaker 2:

A hundred percent and we're not going to move the needle anywhere if we only stay in with groups of people who have the same views and values as us. Like collective liberation is going to require all of us collective consciousness and like recognizing. I think especially here, when you've centered in the united states, it's like we need class consciousness.

Speaker 3:

So, yeah, because it's a trine. If it was a square I'd be like, okay, that might be a little explosive, but it's a trine which is like harmonious. Maybe things can be um received easier. Yeah, you know.

Speaker 2:

I think also on a personal level, this is lovely energy for doing spell work. Um, because mars is that like tangible doing something, and because they're coming through in air signs, it's really a great time to shift and release limiting beliefs and changing your perspective, the way that you speak to yourself through divination.

Speaker 3:

Oh, I like that. I like that On August 11th there's a couple of transits. That day, Mercury goes direct in Leo at four degrees. I feel like that's like nothing. A Mercury retrograde is like nothing after all these other transits. And then Venus and Cancer will conjunct Jupiter and Cancer at 14 degrees. This is the loveliest aspect of August. And then Saturn retrograde in Aries will sextile Uranus and Gemini at one degree.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, this is a lovely trio to have on the 11th, especially like the first couple weeks of August are going to be a little rough, and Mercury stationing direct is going to bring a shift in perspectives, a reversal. It's going to help you speak your truth and, just in general, like as a Leo rising, my fellow Leo risings out there if you're feeling it. I've been feeling it quite intensely, so it'll be a welcome shift. Venus and Jupiter, the two benefics in the sky, and Jupiter, the two benefics in the sky, and we have Jupiter exalted in Cancer. I think Venus likes to be in Cancer. I mean, there's no like quote, unquote, like scholarly proof of that, but it just makes sense. I think it does, it does.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so that just feels like a really cozy moment. And it's at 14 degrees, so it's so far away from Saturn, neptune, which is nice, um, and it's also far away from that Mars, so it's like a warm hug. Yeah, it's the birth of a new goal or a dream, a new opportunity, um, feeling a deep sense of gratitude for your chosen family.

Speaker 3:

I think a lot of people are going to make babies today.

Speaker 2:

You might be extra fertile, I know, so keep that in mind. Or maybe you get a fur baby, you know. Or maybe you birth a book.

Speaker 3:

Something is being birthed that day, with saturn as well, sextiling uranus and gemini. Something new is trying to be like.

Speaker 2:

Systems are being upgraded upgraded in your life like that system upgrade yeah, it feels like a, an upgrade, a reset, um, because they're the outer planets and saturn, uranus don't really come together very often. I think they came together. They did at 29 degrees, when Saturn was at 29 degrees of Pisces and Uranus was at 29 of Taurus, and so now this is a revisit, but they're in separate signs, so it's kind of adding that system upgrade to the Gemini and Aries sections of your chart now, the Gemini and Aries sections of your chart now, which should be nice because you've been having some a lot of tension in the.

Speaker 2:

Aries section of your chart.

Speaker 3:

This is probably the best day to to start something. Think about what you want to start.

Speaker 2:

There's support for the dreams that you and the goals you set for yourself this day. They may not all, like wham, come into fruition on this day, but it whatever. Yeah, this is a good day to get something going.

Speaker 3:

I really liked that day. August 14th, mercury and Leo will sextile Mars and Libra at five degrees and then three days later, on the 17th, this will happen again at seven degrees.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I thought this was so interesting because this doesn't normally happen. But you know, we have Mercury like kind of regaining some speed, so like post retrograde, so it's still kind of like getting back into its normal speed. But this is great. It's dynamic energy, it's flirty energy, it's sexy energy, like tell someone you have a crush on them, taking your ideas and courageously acting on them, and you're making progress back to back. So it's like you have this burst of energy and momentum and progress on the 14th and then whatever is unfolding, whatever has captured your attention that day, it's directly related to the 17th. So it's like a second wind.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I like sextiles. It's like planets having sex. Yeah, yeah, because it's like in the nature of Venus. Right, sextiles are 60 degree angles between two supportive elements, fire and air. So I don't know, this is like putting wind beneath someone's wings.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

Like, I like you you know, like telling a crush you like them or getting something started.

Speaker 2:

It's fun. It's really fun, lighthearted, yeah, enjoy yourself.

Speaker 3:

Enjoy yourself. August 22nd is virgo season. The sun enters virgo wowza um, and the new moon is on the same day. Yes, it is, because the new moon is at zero degrees um a virgo, wowza. How do you feel about virgo season um? Um like what are some significations you think of?

Speaker 2:

I think it is a great time to for a couple of things, to make small little changes in your life. It's to remember that it's the small changes you make that are going to lead to the biggest shifts in your life, right? So it's like if you've been, for example, for the longest time, I was telling myself, I'm going to learn Spanish, or like I'm going to learn Spanish, or like I'm going to speak more Spanish, I'm going to speak more Spanish, and then, for like a decade, I never did. It's like no, you just need to do it, right?

Speaker 2:

Or Poco y poco yeah, poco y poco and like or I'm going to start working out again, and then you put it off, you put it off, you put it off. But it's like once you do, you start to. For me it's like embodying and it moves energy. It's kind of like an alchemy of its own. So I don't know. It's just like the shit that you've been saying, like, oh, I'll get around to it. And it's like, if you keep ignoring it and your life is stagnant and you're like why haven't I reached my goal? Or why hasn't anything changed? It's like, cause you don't do the shit that you keep saying you're going to do. So it's really the small changes you make, like Virgo is one of the witchiest signs.

Speaker 3:

Very witchy.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, very magical, but it knows that the magic lives in the mundane here on earth. It's not like you don't need. We're sitting next to all of my ofrendas. You don't need that shit, you don't.

Speaker 3:

You know, the material is just as magical yeah, I told stephanie that I finally started running again because of my mental health. It got so bad. I was like oh, I guess I'll. I'll go for a run and it really works.

Speaker 2:

I know, know it's horrible. I told you I literally did the same thing, which I think is so funny. Okay, so Laura and I make a full moon and yeah, there's so many times where we're texting and it's either one of us is like same, same, you know, like it was the same week, or like I started running for the first time in years and Same week. You're like I started running for the first time in years and I was like what? Me too, but and it does work.

Speaker 3:

And it works. This is what they're talking about, those endorphins, but yeah, like, and Virgo is one of the signs about health and your body and the embodiment.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that looks like for you and that could be any type of movement or touch or breath or but whatever feels good, healthy and aligned for you, Getting in touch with your physical being through your senses can be helpful in healing.

Speaker 3:

Yes, so let's talk about this new moon in Virgo. It's interesting because the next new moon in Virgo is a month after this one and it is an eclipse and it's at 29. They're book-ending. They're book-ending. Is that a blue moon? Is that the definition of a blue moon?

Speaker 2:

I don't know, isn't a blue moon when they're full moons?

Speaker 3:

Oh, maybe I don't know, but, there are two moons in the same sign, so this one is not an eclipse, but it is at the beginning of the sign. It's in the first. Deacon of.

Speaker 3:

Virgo, which is the Eight of Pentacles, and I love this card because it talks about a commitment to your craft and mastering something. I do find it interesting too, that Uranus, neptune, pluto, or all the outer planets are at one degree which, according to Nikola Stajanovic's degree theory, is the Aries degree, ruled by Mars, and these placements are about expressing your personal goals and moving the vision forward, forward. So, with those outer planets in the backdrop of like this, being in the first deacon speaks about really putting into form, like something that you want to create and master. Yeah, I'm gonna pull up the chart while we're chatting about it.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, um, virgo isn't like the sexiest of signs, even though I think virgos are the freakiest, the sexual freaks, because Virgo is like very practical and it's like what can I do, as like every single day, to make this thing, you know, come to form, and which is why sometimes Virgos tend to be perfectionist, because they want to get it right and this energy is actually really annoying for a Sagittarius, because Virgos are always like it could be better and I'm like, no, just leave it.

Speaker 2:

We're never done refining. We're never done refining.

Speaker 3:

Yes, so yeah, what do you think about it being in the first deacon, or do you?

Speaker 2:

have anything else to say about the Eight of Pentacles. My moon is in this deacon. Yeah, I think so. It's going to be ruled by Mercury and Leo. Yeah, I think so, it's going to be ruled by Mercury and Leo. And you know, mercury is still traveling through like the retro shade, which is kind of interesting, so maybe there's some sort of new or something you're returning to. But yeah, I think the new moon in Virgo is great to change your habits, it's great to come up with new plans, it's great for spell work, it's great for being of service. So, like really reflecting on how can you participate in the collective in your community? Yeah, I would see this as I mean.

Speaker 2:

I'm looking at the chart. It doesn't look too troubling. I don't really think it's not interacting with any of the malefics. It's not an eclipse. Well, actually, it's forming pretty much an exact square to Uranus and Gemini. That's disruptive energy. Oh duh, because two days later the sun, on the 24th, the sun will square Gemini. Okay, so wait, wait, I changed my tune. This could be a little disruptive, but it could also encourage you to take that risk if you have been playing it safe, because Virgos do play it safe. Virgo does wait for perfection a lot of the time. This could just be like I'm putting it out there, I'm doing this.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, a lot of the time this could just be like I'm putting it out there, I'm doing this.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's kind of putting some like innovation, like energy, into this new moon. It's like seeding something new and also insomnia vibes. You're probably not going to get good sleep around this time. So I would say anything you need to get done, plan ahead of time.

Speaker 3:

Not good sleep, sloan is going to tear me up that night, I'm sure. Okay, so you mentioned August 24th. Oh, do you want to move on from the new moon? Yeah, yeah yeah, that sounds good. Yeah, august 24th, the sun in Virgo squares Uranus and Gemini, and one degree that's like disruptive energy, I think.

Speaker 2:

Surprising conversations, yes, like gossip, juicy gossip, and like you could also have divine downloads.

Speaker 3:

Because the sun and Uranus are speaking to that mercury that's still going through its post shadow right um, yeah, I like sun, square uranus. I think um new inventions can be announced this day. Um, hopefully like new apps this is one of.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean this is the first time that the sun is squaring uranus since it's been in Gemini, so this could definitely. This is going to highlight and illuminate a big part of the South Node is still there. It's by whole sign right.

Speaker 3:

So like something in your Virgo house is getting purged, released, right, you're letting go of judgment, self-criticism, perfectionism, all like the shadowy Virgo stuff and, yeah, like it's getting that square from Uranus and it's like let's do things differently, let's look at things in a different way, because Virgos are very like practical, and Geminis are a little unhinged and chaotic. It's chaotic energy.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, for sure.

Speaker 3:

Buckle up Virgos is what I'm trying to say we're not even in eclipse season, yeah, and then August 25th, venus enters Leo. So Stephanie and I were talking about this yesterday, how your Leo house has been. Something's been going on in your Leo house because the summer of 2023, there was a Venus retrograde between Leo and Virgo. Then, late last year, early this year, there was a Mars retrograde in Leo and Cancer, and now there's a Mercury retrograde in your Leo house. So these are three personal planet retrogrades all in a row planet retrogrades all in a row.

Speaker 2:

So something about your Leo house which you know, leo's, about your life force, energy, your shine, your authenticity, your expression your child, your inner child and teen.

Speaker 3:

Yes, exactly so, like, almost like reclaiming that through these retrogrades and being so freaking. For real, I think anything that is not in alignment with that essence is going to be exposed to you, and so now that Venus is coming back here, it's like maybe a chance to I don't know.

Speaker 2:

More support. Clean up. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Cleaning up the mess, cleaning up um any issues, because venus is a planet of support and brings more balance um so yeah, I think it's kind of freaky frisky in frisky yes, roast me. I want, if it's pda or nothing like. If you're gonna propose like, get an airplane, write it in the sky, okay, it's gotta be big, bigger, go home energy. Yeah, post that picture of us making out on your story. You know, hard launch, hard launch. Venus and leo wants the hard launch, venus and leo wants the big hair, the just like um.

Speaker 3:

I think of jd vance with this venus and leo, how he does he have venus and leo? He does, and during the retrograde, during the retrograde, the photos of him wearing wigs and wearing his clothing.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, it was the best.

Speaker 3:

I was like. So, Venus and Leo.

Speaker 2:

He does have this. I haven't even looked at his chart because he's just so you, but I will work on that. I think it's interesting because once Venus moves into Leo, venus is busy.

Speaker 3:

Oh she busy, yes, yeah.

Speaker 2:

The 25th and 26th.

Speaker 3:

It's just like non-stop it's not, and they're really cute she makes. Okay, I don't want to gender venus, but she cute so venus will trine saturn retrograde in aries at one degree. Then on the 26th, venus will sextile Uranus and Gemini one degree. Then, still on the 26th, trine Neptune retrograde in Aries at one degree, and then Venus and Leo will oppose Pluto retrograde in Aquarius at one degree. So it's like bam, bam bam.

Speaker 2:

So we I just want to call out, we've already felt this energy twice. So at the end of June Mercury met with the same lineup, yesterday the new moon and Leo, the sun, did the same shit. The sun met with Saturn yesterday, then went on to meet with Uranus, then Neptune, and then we had sun opposite Pluto. So you're coming back to those same stories, topics and time periods from the end of June, from July 24th, and this is the final chapter, because all the inner planets have now moved through Leo. But I've had fun on the past two days. I mean you came yesterday, hello. I mean Sloanie was a terror last night. Laura will tell you, screaming, fighting for her life, was a terror last night. Laura will tell you, screaming, fighting for her life. Um, but she had too much fun, which is very like leo meeting with neptune and uranus. And she had too much fun with auntie laura. She was juiced and bedtime was just not. I can't blame her you can't blame her they're wanted to stay up with me.

Speaker 3:

they're both ariesries, I was going to say.

Speaker 2:

their sons are conjunct one another and her Venus is on her Mercury, so it's very the love runs deep.

Speaker 3:

Yes, so you can't blame the girl, yeah you can't, but it it's been fun.

Speaker 2:

You know, and I think, yeah, venus opposite Pluto isn't necessarily going to be fun. However, there is this potential because these energies are coexisting at the same time, like Venus-Neptune. Venus-uranus in these like gentle ways is so healing and supportive and also great for like divination work and spicing up your sex life, trying new things, sure Jealous, putting yourself out there, putting yourself out there, putting yourself out there. Yeah. Making progress on like your heart's desires, whether it's with a person or a creative project. Yeah and yeah, venus, opposite Pluto, can stir up jealousy obsession.

Speaker 3:

Feelings of unworthiness Feelings of unworthiness.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, power struggles.

Speaker 3:

But I feel like we need that because I was even sharing with you an epiphany that I had on the new moon, which was opposing Pluto, was that a deep-seated fear of mine was inadequacy, like I wasn't good enough as an astrologer, because the new moon was happening in my ninth house, which for a lot of people represents astrology, and I know this is not logical, it's not something that really makes sense because I know I'm a good astrologer, but it's like a deep-seated fear that Pluto kind of brings up for you to look at and be like where's that coming from?

Speaker 2:

No, it was so nice to have you here on the new one, cause both of us were talking about like our fears and our inadequacies and like these feelings of unworthiness, that like live in our shadows, and to have a fellow psychic here to be like shake that shit off, you know, like and like remind you, it was like very empowering and healing.

Speaker 2:

So, it was like this raw, vulnerable moment, but we also like I don't want to speak for you, but I felt like healed afterwards, you know, and like I think that's the power of Pluto is like. It is this moment of like vulnerability and like facing your fears, but there's that potential for catharsis once you do it Right.

Speaker 3:

So what I'm saying is I feel like sometimes we need these oppositions to see it, because otherwise it would just live in your unconscious. But it's a matter of what are you going to do with that once you see it. Are you going to keep repressing it and pretending it's not there, or are you going to face it and be like why am I feeling this way? Because when we were talking it through, of course, like Stephanie has a Mercury in Leo, so she gives the best affirmations.

Speaker 2:

And I was a cheerleader. I don't like to talk about it, but I was. It was very bring it on, by the way. I was Eliza Dushku. I went in with my skateboard and I had a studded belt and I did a back handspring and they're like, you're on the team and I was like cool, yeah, cause I was like, not a cheerleader person, I was, yeah.

Speaker 3:

But yeah, you need you need that friend to remind you that you're badass and that you can do it. So, yeah, I would say this is the way you can use it. It's like an opportunity for you to see the shadows and then work with that energy.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. And then the grand finale. I really love the last transit of the month.

Speaker 3:

Uranus and Gemini will sextile Neptune retrograde in Aries at one degree. This is, I think, amazing. This is creating something new.

Speaker 2:

I think that this has the potential to represent and I'm co-creating and visualizing that this is what happens that it has a powerful shift in the collective unconscious and helps awaken compassion for others. Yes, palestine, congo, sudan, tigray, everything that is going on. This feels like a larger collective shift in awareness.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, like a collective consciousness in remembering that we are all interconnected. Yes.

Speaker 2:

And Uranus, being that awakening transit and maybe even I don't want to obviously put this out there because I believe in the power of the mind, but I can't help but think that every time something like something happening, yeah, and then more people you're right.

Speaker 3:

As a result, I'm like, oh my god, this is terrible. Yes, because it happens every single time yeah yeah, even now, as Gaza is being starved to death, more and more people are speaking out, because what we're witnessing you can't deny right, and I don't know why it has to get to that level of people's lives being literally at stake for more people to wake up. But I don't know, that's just like the human condition.

Speaker 2:

I don't know. We were talking about it last night and we were just kind of both speechless, yeah, and we were talking a lot about, like, the focus on children, and it's like no humans, there's people, there's elderly people, there's all kinds of people the Palestinian, men.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I feel like they're the most targeted as being you know and it's like they deserve life too.

Speaker 2:

Yes, everyone there deserves life. But, yeah, calling in healing and awakening, and I also think that this could bring on a personal level, like unexpected developments towards your dream or an unexpected development on your healing journey.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Pay attention to your dreams. Your intuition is also like boosted this day.

Speaker 3:

Yes, yeah, I really like this as well. So, yeah, we start off the month kind of rocky and then it slowly gets better it gets a little better by the end so that's our august um we, we are manifesting to doing this more in the future. Yes, we, we currently live on opposite sides of the country, so it's devastating.

Speaker 2:

It's devastating, yes, because if you lived, if we lived in the same vicinity, we would see each other probably all day, all the time. Yeah, all the time.

Speaker 3:

But free Palestine.

Speaker 2:

Always and forever.

Speaker 3:

And we'll see you next month. Bye oh my God.

Speaker 2:

So cute.
