This is your daily horoscope for Friday, October 17th, 2025. Now the first aspect of the day takes place around 4 30 p.m., but we will be feeling it the majority of the day. That is the sun and Libra forming an opposition with Chiron and Aries. Now this is taking place at 24 degrees. So if you have any planets or placements around 24 degrees of the cardinal signs, that is Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn, you're going to feel the effects of this the most intensely. The sun is our ego, our identity. Chiron is the wounded healer. And this is a moment where we might feel raw, exposed, vulnerable, insecure. Maybe we are feeling triggered. Maybe we're feeling sensitive. Maybe an interaction we have today illuminates part of our own healing journey that we must continue forward on.

We're never done healing, in my personal opinion. I think we are all works in progress forever. We're here to learn, to grow, to experience. Humans are complex. Our individual healing always benefits the collective and it can help us show up better for one another to build the world that we all deserve.

Okay, now around 6 p.m., the moon in Virgo forms a sextile with Mercury and Scorpio. This is really great for detective work, for research, for studying something you really enjoy, for getting lost in a good book, for having deep and meaningful conversations, for taking some of your plans and implementing them and having the dedication to stick with it. This is a time of busy communication, connecting with others. And in general, it can mean communication is also going smoothly around this time. Now, around 9 p.m., the moon and Virgo will form a sex tile with Mars and Scorpio. And this is busy energy. This is great for going out, for doing things around the house, for having a sexy encounter, for witty banter, flirty text, for just having energy and feeling inspired to take action on some of your ideas and for connecting with others and putting yourself out there. You might have a little bit of a confidence boost as well.
