This is your daily horoscope for Tuesday, October 21st, 2025. The action starts out around 4 a.m. when Mercury enters its pre-retrograde shadow period in the sign of Scorpio at 20 degrees. This just means from this moment forward through the 9th of November, that is when Mercury actually stations retrograde, we are in a preview period. So themes, topics, issues that pop up, things that annoy you, especially ones that you ignore right now. It is possible that they come back up during the retrograde for revision, reflection, retooling of some sort. So just keep that in mind, especially if there are things you're pushing aside or ignoring. This is going to be just a little preview period of what's to come. Now at 5 25 a.m., we have a new moon in Libra. This is taking place at 28 degrees. So this is very, very close to the end of Libra, right? That final degree is 29 degrees. This is happening at 28 degrees. So if you have any planets or placements around 28 degrees of the cardinal signs, that is Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn, you all are obviously the main characters.

Now it's also very important to note that this is our first new moon in Libra that is not an eclipse. We have been experiencing eclipses in the signs of Libra and Aries for the past 18 months. And now we finally have our first lunation in the sign of Libra that is just a regular old new moon. So that actually means that this is going to be a new moon that we can use for setting intentions, that we can use for spell work. And there's just some more stability with this new moon because we know that under eclipses, that's the main signature, is that they are absolutely unpredictable and because of that hard to work with when it comes to setting intentions and co-creation and manifestation and such. Now, when we have a new moon in the sign of Libra, it is going to bring up fresh starts around the one-on-one relationships in our lives, but also ongoing contracts and commitments. A new moon is yes, a period of new beginnings and setting intentions, but that also requires clearing away anything, anyone that no longer serves us. So could a relationship end under this new moon? You betcha. Could you meet someone with long-term potential? Absolutely. It just depends on your personal situation, but there is going to be some sort of shift in ongoing relationship dynamics. And this is all types of relationships. It brings attention to friendships, coworkers, family, etc., etc. And the sign of Libra is represented by the scales. This is going to bring up themes of justice and fairness and peace and finding balance when it comes to the fight for justice and what is fair. So both personally and in the collective, you might be reflecting on some of these themes. And this is a great time to set intentions, whether it is on a monthly basis, a weekly basis, a daily basis, whatever is in your capacity. But how can you show up and contribute and invest in and build and co-create the world in which we all deserve?

Stephanie Campos:

One other thing that I want to say in regards to the new moon in Libra and themes of justice and what is fair and peace. We know that on October 8th, there was a quote unquote ceasefire that was reached and agreed to in Palestine. And I just want to name that there is still a lot of grief that this genocide is still ongoing, that just because there has been a quote unquote ceasefire, just because hostages on both sides, let's name that, we have thousands of Palestinian hostages, and the media is reporting them as prisoners while they're saying Israel has hostages. Words matter. So I just want to name that yes, while some Palestinians are returning home, home to what? To rebel. This isn't gonna bring back their relatives, their loved ones that they've lost. This isn't going to stop the airstrikes. I woke up this morning and there have been seven Palestinians killed this morning. Was that covered by any major news outlets in the United States? No, it was recovered, it was reported by Al Jazeera and Middle East Eye. So just don't stop paying attention to the ongoing genocide in Palestine because Palestinians still deserve to have the truth of their lived experience amplified. And for us to be active participants in dismantling this oppressive regime until there is a free Palestine.

Stephanie Campos:

Okay, at 8 30 a.m. the moon enters Scorpio. Around 11 30 a.m. The moon and Scorpio forms a square with Pluto and Aquarius. This is gonna kick up some of your shadow sides. Some of your fears and insecurities could rise to the surface, but this could also mark a turning point where you're ready to choose differently, where there is some sort of healing, transformative or deep interaction that brings about a renewed sense of self-awareness, and it can help you choose differently and move differently and surrender to the unknown, knowing that there is something beautiful waiting on the other side.

Aries, the new moon in Libra brings attention to your one-on-one relationships. This could mark the new chapter or a defining moment in a relationship, whether that's with a lover, a best friend, a family member, a client, a new contract, or someone at work. This is going to bring in new beginnings as well as endings. If there are certain relationships that you've outgrown, contracts or commitments that you're ready to release, this could also be a moment of swift change. This also invites you to reflect on the important relationship patterns and how you embody certain relationship dynamics. Are there certain patterns you're ready to release? Are there certain desires and expectations that you are ready to address and stand up for? This on a more practical level could just mark any type of new commitment, whether it is a contract or a new opportunity or creative collaboration as well.

Taurus, the new moon in Libra brings some sort of shift to your daily routines, your habits, and your lifestyle. This could look like taking on a new commitment or obligation. Maybe you're starting a new role at work or taking on more responsibility in your professional life or personal life. Sometimes this looks like making a sacrifice, something that will require you to make changes to your daily life, but you know that over time the effort that you put into this will be rewarding or even pay off down the line or help bring you closer towards some of your long-term goals. This energy is also lovely for changing your habits, your patterns, for integrating new habits, for recommitting to a healthier lifestyle. If you've wanted a fur baby, this can bring new fur babies into your world or mark a new chapter for your existing fur babies. And this could also look like taking on a new creative commitment or finding more time to devote your energy towards a hobby, a passion project, something creative that you enjoy on a more regular basis.

Gemini, the new moon in Libra brings attention to your relationship with creativity, passion, as well as romance in your inner child. This is a great time for self-expression, for thinking about the people, the projects, the activities that light you up, that light up your inner child, your inner teen. Are there ways in which you can spend more time doing these things? This could look like committing to a new workshop or finding the time to do a hobby after work or finally getting started on a project that you've been excited about. This is also the area of our chart that has to do with children and fertility. So if you have children, this could be a defining moment or milestone in their world or a change in your relationship with them. This could also be a period of trying to call in a human child, a fur baby child, a plant child, or just even parenting yourself. Inner child healing. This is a powerful time for going back in the past and giving your inner child a hug or telling them what they needed to hear at a specific moment and time. New romantic relationships, of course, also have the potential to pop up. And this can also invite you to experiment with your sexuality.

Cancer, the new moon in Libra brings attention to your private life. This could mark a new chapter regarding your living situation, a relationship with a family member, or even help you break free from the past. So for some, this could look like making a decision to move, to find new roommates, to ask a landlord, to cut back on the rent, or something of the sort, or reorganize your home, or do a deep purge of your closet. There is some emphasis around the cleansing, purging, and renewal regarding your sense of comfort, safety, and your living environment. This can also bring changes in your relationships, in your family life, with your chosen family, with your roommates as well. And this energy is also great for letting go of the past and anything or anyone that no longer serves you.

Leo, the new moon in Libra brings attention to your relationship with your voice. This is a powerful time for connecting with your voice, for self-expression, for sharing your thoughts, your feelings, your ideas with others, for committing to a new creative contract, a collaborative contract, for studying something that you enjoy, or even for stepping into a teaching role yourself. This is also going to bring attention to your relationships with your siblings, your extended family members. Perhaps there is some sort of change in a dynamic there, a something that needs to be addressed, or maybe you are expressing yourself honestly for the first time in a relationship. This also can bring some travel your way. It can bring important news your way, and it can also give you the courage to act on some of your ideas.

Virgo, the new moon in Libra brings attention to your relationship with resources. This could look like a new job opportunity, a raise, a promotion, making a decision to leave a job or a contract or position, wrapping up all together. This might also look like you considering other types of avenues for bringing in some resources. Maybe you want to launch something on the side or consider picking up freelance projects as well. This also looks like a renewal for your relationship with your resources. So maybe you are hitting a savings goal or you're sticking with a budget better, or you need to rework your budget. This can also coincide with making important purchases and investments as well.

Libra, you are the main character under the new moon in your sign. And this is your yearly personal reset. This invites you to set new goals for yourself, to experiment with your self-expression, your style, the way you show up in the world. If you have important personal news that you've been wanting to share, this is your day to do it, or at least within the following days. You might also feel a little bit more tender, sensitive. It's easy to take things personally. You might need a little bit more rest as well. This energy also invites you to advocate for yourself, to stand up for yourself. If there are certain things you need to address in important one-on-one relationships or dynamics, this could be a time to do so. And this can also bring important people into your life, including lovers.

Scorpio, the new moon in Libra asks you to slow down. This is going to be a powerful time for listening to your body and what it is asking of you. You might also notice that you are wrapping up a cycle. You might be moving through feelings of grief or loss or just exhaustion or feeling underappreciated. This is an opportunity to rest and recharge, to tune out other people's noise and opinions and really reconnect with your intuition and your inner voice. This is a great time to pursue any spiritual practices that interest you, to also focus on what lingers in your subconscious. If there are any patterns or habits that have been keeping you stuck or stagnant, this is an opportunity to be honest with yourself about which self-defeating habits and behaviors you have, and you might be ready to make a change once and for all.

This can invite you to create community that is in alignment with your values and your higher purpose and ideals that feels fulfilling in some way. This also is a great time for networking, for sharing your ideas with others, for taking steps towards some of your goals and even receiving opportunities about the future, or going after a goal or a dream that you've wanted for some time, or perhaps one of those goals finally materializing in some way.

This is a great time for gaining attention for your expertise, whether it is compliments and feedback from someone like a mentor that feels very meaningful, whether it is being a guest on a podcast or having some writing published or just standing out in your field in some way. This can also be a moment where you are working on a writing project, a video project, or just getting creative with storytelling in some way. You might also consider going back to school or stepping into a teaching role yourself. This is also a time to book travel. You're craving new experiences and feeling a little bit more adventurous as well. This is also a moment to stand up for what you believe in, and sharing some of your own lived experience can also help benefit others and shift their perspective and understanding of the world, and vice versa.

Pisces, the new moon in Libra brings attention to a very private and sensitive part of your chart. Emotionally, this could look like you processing the past, some big feelings that you've ignored, your shadow side. This could also look like you embarking on a new healing journey, signing up for therapy, doing somatic therapy, seeing a guide or a mentor or a healer of some capacity. This also brings attention to your relationship with trust and intimacy and vulnerability. Maybe some relationships are deepening. Maybe some could benefit from reflecting on the reciprocity in the connection. Are you giving more than you are receiving? Have you been stepping into self-sacrificing behaviors? This is also going to bring changes practically to your finances. Maybe there is a new contract on the way. Maybe a contract or opportunity wraps up. This could also look like having important conversations about shared resources with lovers, business partners, roommates, and setting new boundaries around your spending habits.
