This is your daily horoscope for Thursday, January 22nd, 2026. All times are Pacific Standard Time. The action starts out around 8:30 a.m. when the moon in Pisces forms a shrine with Jupiter in Cancer. This is a gentle connection that can help us feel our feelings. It can help you feel gratitude, supported. It can help you have a good cry and express feelings that you have not been able to fully embrace. It can bring some lucky or helpful news your way. It could mean you had really great sleep, or it's great energy to focus on making progress on some of your goals or to do divination work as well. Now, around 9 a.m., Mercury and Aquarius forms a conjunction with Pluto and Aquarius. This is taking place at three degrees. So if you have any planets replacements around three degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, or Aquarius, you are of course the main characters. Now, I'm not gonna lie, I'll do a quick overview of what this means personally, but collectively, this is pretty alarming for many reasons. Personally, this can look like a deep, healing, transformative, meaningful, raw, vulnerable conversation, or learning news that was a secret, like some sort of disclosure, or you sharing something that you've kept to yourself. It can also look like obsessive thoughts. Plutonic themes have to do with power and control and jealousy and our fears and our shadow side and what we tend to hide or repress. So this can look like a disclosure or some sort of unearthing of feelings or memories or thoughts that you kept hidden away, or having an intense conversation, or navigating a power dynamic with someone else. Of course, like I said, like there are positive aspects of this. It could be healing, it can be cathartic, it could be transformative as well. Um, there's potential for all of these manifestations. Collectively, it's alarming because last year during the inauguration, we had a Sun Pluto conjunction in the sign of Aquarius. And that's coming later this week. Um, but we definitely saw this expansion of the executive power, right? Um we're seeing Trump going into Venezuela and literally kidnapping their president. Um I didn't know we could do that. I don't know why we haven't just done that with Natenyahoo, a literal war criminal, but hey. Um so collectively, there could be some very intense news that comes out today, some sort of disclosure as well. Um, secrets, power. Um you know, Pluto is this planet of death and rebirth and kind of the shadow, what lingers in the shadow, the taboo, what people choose to ignore. So this energy can be heavy. And I just want to acknowledge that. Like it's okay to not feel normal. It's okay to, you know, if your boss emails you for a spreadsheet to feel like they're fucking insane or insensitive. Like we're living through, I think, unprecedented times. And um and I think it's also important to in the same breath, like, yes, unprecedented times, but also this has been the reality for so many indigenous people of the global majority, black and brown people. So I don't think it's necessarily right to say this is unprecedented times because this has been ongoing. And we are, you know, seeing this shift with our administration. You know, we're we're we're in full on fascism, I think that's fair to say. And um that's just kind of what comes to mind when I'm thinking of Mercury conjunct Pluto. So obviously I'm recording this it's a week way before, you know, it's January 12th. Um, but I would just say like be gentle with yourself and others, uh, especially on a personal level and a collective level. We are all interconnected. Our pain, our oppression, our fears, our joy, we are all part of one cosmic source of love and energy. That's what I believe. And I believe we're all interconnected, essentially, and intertwined in our experiences and our joys and our struggles. And none of us in fur are free until we all are. So lead with kindness when you can. Know that it is totally healthy to feel overwhelmed and that that is literally by design. This administration is trying to overwhelm us into a sense of um a state of freeze and feeling hopeless. Um and of course, I have periods of time where I feel hopeless, but I choose, I refuse to remain there. And also in the same breath, if this is a moment where that is how you are feeling, allow yourself to feel your feels because some of the deeper feelings that we've been ignoring that continue to just exist and live within our bodies are certainly gonna come up when Mars meets with Pluto. Okay. Mars and Capricorn will form a sextile with Neptune and Pisces around 10:30 p.m. Mars is a planet of action and motivation. Neptune is a planet of compassion and creativity and spirituality. On one hand, this can look like a person or a group of people taking action based on their beliefs, fighting for what they believe in, defending those from a place of compassion, those who need it most, protecting those who need it most. It can also look like taking action on a creative idea or towards a dream or a goal. This can be very productive and motivating energy for working with your creativity and your imagination in particular.

Aries, when Mercury forms a conjunction with Pluto, you could unearth some sort of power struggle, jealousy, or even a frenemy in your midst. There can be some sort of tension or competition with friends or groups or communities you're a part of, but on the other hand, you could also meet new people that feel transformative or join new groups, organizations, and spend more time in community with people who feel transformative and life-changing in some way. You could also mingle with some influential people who could bring about some of your goals and your dreams. You could learn some exciting developments regarding some of your dreams, maybe even receive an opportunity, but you will want to reflect on if there's any strings attached or power struggles that come along with it. You could also set your sights on a new dream or goal that feels life-changing and meaningful in some way, and have conversations within friendship groups or with some acquaintances that are very deep and vulnerable as well.

Taurus, when Mercury forms a conjunction with Pluto, this brings attention to your 10th house of career, your public reputation, and milestones. So this could kick up power struggles at work. Maybe you're more aware of a toxic work environment or a toxic boss or some sort of power struggle that is going on with coworkers. On the other hand, this could also be a transformative moment for you in your professional world. Maybe you are gaining more power and recognition or taking on an important role or promotion. You could also make an important decision to move in a completely different direction. Maybe there is some other calling that you want to pursue. This is also a powerful day for unearthing secrets, sharing your truth, and making peace with your shadow side. You could definitely learn some information today that feels transformative in some way, or have an important conversation that centers the taboo.

You could learn information that feels transformative today. You could also stumble upon some sort of opportunity or new subject that you are really obsessed with or captivated by, and maybe you just want to dive in and commit to learning it. Using your words can be healing and life-changing today. This is a great time to reflect on the way that you speak to yourself, to do some journaling, but really to reconnect with the power of your voice.
