Hosted by Aaron Berg and Andrew Davidsburg, Badass Jews digs into the untold stories of the Athletes, Soldiers, Spies and all-around tough guys that lived their lives in true Macacbian style. We dig into legends of those Hebraic heroes who made our people proud whether it was in winning gold, saving drowning children, or throwing Nazis through plate glass windows. The legends of these yids range from Superhuman strength to unequaled bravery. Never starting the fight, but always finishing it.

Jack Kirby - Lower East Side Tough, Comic Book Legend and Nazi Slayer
Long before Jack Kirby was credited with creating the most beloved comic book characters of all time, he was brawling on the streets of the Lower East Side. Doing all he could to escape the ghetto, Kirby found his gift as an artist drawing on the tenement walls where he lived. After a brief stint drawing Popeye, along with Joe Simon, Kirby created the legendary Captain America, an instant hit. The nazis in the comic book would be replaced by real stormtroopers as Kirby shipped off to Germany to take the fight the fascists. To learn about his battles, and the creation of your favorite heros, check out Badass Jews episode 3!
