A great example Andree used, was that she has to have a hip replacement. She could be mad and pissed, or flip it by saying this is a hip enhancement that will give her a way to live her life and thrive again doing the many outdoor activities that she hasn't been able to do because of the pain and limitations she faced. Andree has chosen to enhance her life.
Andree isn't thinking about the downside of surgery. Rather, how she is going to feel like a million bucks once recovered and play my best golf ever! She can’t wait
Really pay attention to the self-talk you use. What self-talk are you telling yourself? What self-talk are you believing? (In what you see, feel, and hear?)
