Speaker 3I cannot even believe Christmas is next week.
Speaker 1I know.
Speaker 3Did you do any shopping yet? Not really Me either. That's how I always am I'm very last minute.
Speaker 1Yeah, me either. But really, what do we need? We've got everything we need, I mean we want.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 1But what do we need? That's different.

Speaker 1And everybody probably feels that way too.
Speaker 3Probably.
Speaker 1Yeah, I think so, I think so. So what else? Let's go to banter I guess, I'm good. How are you? We were had a late night I'm feeling tiredcom yeah tiredcom, yeah, tiredcom. Exclamation point a hundred percent yeah, so we had a late night, but I can't tell you unless you already know because you've seen it on Instagram. But I'm going to banter for the week and then we'll get to it.
Speaker 3Yeah, we had like a jam-packed week. It was great, but it was full of holiday.
Speaker 1Fun and excitement. Yes, fun and excitement. So, yes, fun and excitement. So, wow, someone's being arrested somewhere and it's not Santa Claus. Yeah, so let's get to our banter for this episode. Okay, so the beginning of the week started off with a boom. Okay, so the beginning of the week started off with a boom because we and Robert De Niro, the man himself, were featured in this big article on AOL and everywhere. Yes, so that was so exciting. And then USA Today released their portraits from the Jingle Ball and our picture is so nice, gorge, thank you, usa Today. So they published that and our picture is so nice, gorge, thank you, usa Today.

Speaker 1Yeah, so if you haven't seen that, just go to USA Today and you'll see, like Jingle Ball Portrait Studio or something like that it's called, and you'll see us looking fierce and fabulous and fluffy. Yes, and then we had an audition and then we went to this amazing light show at the Jones Beach Park on Long Island and you drive it, you sit in your car and you drive, Drive through all the lights. It was so fun. We had so, so fun. We had so much fun. We had our heads out of the center roof to see, perfectly without anyone blocking. It wasn't crowded. We got so lucky and it was just really nice and the music plays and the lights are on the sides of you over your head and was like it's a pretty long show that you keep driving. It was like what? Like 45 minutes, I think.
Speaker 3It was. Yeah, it was like 40. It was a good 45 minutes, Like it wasn't short.
Speaker 1No it was really great, but my favorite part is the tunnels of lights that we drive under. Yeah, those were the best.
Speaker 3Yeah, it was like the most fun because the lights just keep shining and, like you, just see lights surrounding it's so cool.
Speaker 1Guys. If you can go to jones beach, I suggest go.
Speaker 3It's really fun I would say it's definitely worth it. I don't know what the santa village is like no, we didn't go in there yeah, we passed, we passed that. Yeah, I think it's worth the drive-throughru though.
Speaker 1Yeah, definitely, because it's better than driving around and seeing people's houses. It's more fun.
Speaker 3Yeah, it's definitely more fun because you know you have to like scout out the houses and it takes.
Speaker 1Yeah, it's annoying.
Speaker 3It's like too much time, too much effort.
Speaker 1Where here it's all, it's a one-stop shop yeah, and it's more spirit feeling, because it's like, wow, look at that, oh, look at that, oh, wow, yeah, you have your music playing, uh-huh, and it was a really nice night so you're able to have the sunroof opened in this car and stick our heads out and that was really good that was fun I loved, like the drive-through tunnels, but I also loved the santa and his reindeer on the that was on our left side.
Speaker 3They were like flying oh, I like that a lot yeah, that was really good and they had like a dinosaur section and a um. In the beginning I think it was some Barbie thing, right yeah, there was like a Barbie section which I didn't really care for it that much.
Speaker 1I didn't get that at all, but whatever is Barbie that popular still? I don't think so. I think they're a little late on that, but whatever.
Speaker 3Yeah, that was weird.
Speaker 1Yeah, I don't think, but we, that was in the beginning, so you drive and forget about it really fast, yeah, yeah, because. And then they did like the 12 days of Christmas and each they had a light for each, like like 11 swans are swimming. It says 11 in the swan, whatever it is. Yeah, so that was really fun, anyway. So we did that and then we had our bath and then I don't know if you all spotted us, but Wednesday on ABC we were on Good Morning America for the Jingle Ball backstage and it was so good, it was like a five minute segment and we're on so much of it we're gonna post that.
Speaker 1so don't worry, that's coming then, wednesday night, we actually watched the Jingle Ball on ABC it's on ABC and Hulu, which you can still watch it on Hulu and we spotted ourselves on the TV. So that was fun, because that was like we're on TV early day and then late night. So that was really really fun. We were just hitting the TV everywhere, hitting the TV, hitting the magazines and the newspapers, hitting the press, hitting everything, and the newspapers hit and the press hit and everything. And then we ended with last night, our last. I think it's our final event for this holiday season, but who knows, because things pop up, as you all know.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 1We were invited to the B&H Creator Holiday Party creator holiday party so now we are B&H creator pups, which is really amazing and we're so honored and we had a great time last night. We got home late because it was a party, but it was so cool how they took over B&H, took over this old bank. I think it is. Is it an old bank? Tink? What was that big building down on Canal Street?
Speaker 3It was an old bank.
Speaker 1Yeah, an old bank. So they took over this old bank and every single room was like photo-worthy or video-worthy, like in different colors and different themes, and it was just really cool and we got to go VIP before they let the guests in so that we can do our content clearly without any obstructions and things like that.
Speaker 3Yeah and distraction.
Speaker 1Yeah, it was so good and everybody was so nice to us there, and we're honored to be B&H creators.
Speaker 3Yeah, it's official.
Speaker 1Yeah, it's official. So that's something amazing. Never thought I mean. I've known about it and I've heard about it. I met humans who are B&H creators, but to actually get invited and be it finally is I never thought it. So thank you, b&h, for ending our week on a pew. And so that's it so far as we roll into Christmas.

Taylor Swift's Birthday Party Recap
Speaker 3Okay, well, I guess the biggest news is that photos have come out this week of Taylor Swift's surprise birthday party that Travis held for her, and it was a surprise era's party, including everything from the Tours willow capes to the viral cleaning cart. Partygoers dressed up as their favorite era and, yes, there were friendship bracelets. Taylor Swift is in her party era Photos shared from the era's tour themed party thrown for the 14 time Grammy winner by her boyfriend, travis Kelsey, show all the details that went into the celebration that Swifties would recognize anywhere. Swift's friend, ashley Avignone I don't know who that is, um, but she posted about the party on instagram um this past thursday and she said when she thought she was going to a small, quiet dinner but it was actually a giant surprise party with her friends and family props included. She captioned the post in one picture swift 35 has the 22 hat placed gingerly on her head by Travis which is a sweet moment from the Red Era of her tour where she gives a fan the fedora.
Speaker 3Another image was the janitor's cart which Swift rode inside to the stage ahead of each era's tour show. There's also a playful picture of Ashley who rocked a fake snake around her neck a la Reputation era Posted. Also several partygoers wearing green velvet capes which Swift and her dancers performed for Willow during the Evermore era. And then there's pictures shared by Brittany Mahomes featuring her wearing a shimmering silver fringe dress, reminiscent of her Fearless era, and Patrick Mahomes donned a suit just like the ensembles wore. And I can do it with a broken heart costume change skit. Yeah. And Travis Kelsey also, um wore his suit from the Tortured Poets Department skit, changing from his original outfit that he wore to keep Swift off the scent. He even broke out the makeup brush for one group picture, similar to his move in his June appearance at her London show.

Swift and Avignon attended the MTV 2012 MTV Video Music Awards together oh, she spotted in New York with Swift, Hadid and the Haim siblings. She attended the Heirs Tour. Yeah, so that's her best friend Really is her best friend forever from Nashville. See, look, she's so small. I thought there was another friend.

Speaker 3no, I don't have any other stories about travis he's hinting retirement oh, I did see that little hint of that.
Speaker 1So it could be, because you know he thinks he wants to be a famous actor now wait really uh yeah I know I don't know who's buying that other than ryan reynolds, but yeah you mean ryan murphy.

Speaker 1But yeah, so he's hinting retirement, because now she's off. And she says she's taking a full year off, even though we know she's releasing a new album during that year of hiatus, because that's what she was recording while touring.

Speaker 1I want to say I want foggy dog. Thank you for making classy sweaters with sleeves and ralph lauren and ralph lauren and a couple other like we only do the sleeves. Yeah, we don't do this. Cut off, Sleeveless cut off like tank top To show your bicep tank, sweater thing. Like I don't get it. Like can't they just make arms?

Speaker 1What good is a sweater without arms?
Speaker 3It doesn't even look good.
Speaker 1And the same with these coats. Why don't they have arms?
Speaker 3Yeah, we don't like the coats without the arms. Like we need the arms everyone. Yeah, guys.

Speaker 3They make tank tops, but that's it.
Speaker 1I think it's easier for them to mass produce these clothes that just have one seam and cut holes for slits for arms, and here you go and it's like wait, there's not even finishing edges on those holes.

Speaker 1It's very strange. So let's talk about how we only like winter fashion with sleeves, yes, even summer fashion. I like our T-shirts with sleeves, like our polo shirts.
Speaker 3Yeah, t-shirts with sleeves. No tank tops.
Speaker 1No, I mean once in a while, if we're at the beach, we'll wear that yeah. But we prefer sleeves. Just shouting it out there, guys. The sleeves are preferred for our clothing, our coats, yeah Yep, like what good is it if your arms are out? Aren't you going to get cold? Don't you get cold with your arms exposed? I think so.

Speaker 1I'm a tangent, and you know what else I cannot wait till Christmas because we got huge boxes from Alexander Wang which I cannot wait to open on Christmas Day, and we also got a box as big as our Christmas tree from Petco. So we will be telling you what they gave us, but human won't let us open them until Christmas.

Speaker 3Yeah, so Melissa Gorga has started a cookie company called Sprinkle by MG and she did her Sprinkle by MG cookie launch this past week. And so Melissa Gorga now is brushing off the shade that was expected from Teresa Giudice. Yeah, so Melissa Gorga isn't letting Teresa Giudice spoil the sweet taste of her recent Sprinkled by MG cookie company launch. During an exclusive interview, the unbothered Bravo star brushed off a recent jab made by her sister-in-law and longstanding adversary on the Real Housewives of New Jersey. Do we expect anything different? Gorga 45, said, referring to an ex post from Judice that read you're welcome. The message was ominously posted shortly after the Envy boutique owner announced her foray into the baked goods business on December 10th.

Speaker 3So Elf producers wanted to cut this line More than 20 years later it's gone viral, shut up a nutcracker, no. So Mark Atchison, the actor who is aptly credited as mailroom guy in the 2003 holiday classic, exclusively tells people about working on the movie and the one line that fans can't stop talking about. Atchison, 67, says that he was only supposed to have one line in the scene in which Buddy the elf is sent into the mailroom at his father's job. In the scene in which Buddy the elf is sent into the mailroom at his father's job, the actor calls his day on the elf set the weirdest day I could possibly imagine. I called my agent and he said listen, they would like you to come and do one line with Will Ferrell. Would you like to do that? And I said, yeah, I'd be happy to do that. I was only supposed to say work, release. And that was the end of it. That's what he says.
Speaker 3Then director John Favreau, however, decided that Atchison was going to improvise with Farrell, now 57. At one point in the mailroom, atchison's character tells Buddy that he's 26 years old and he's got nothing to show for it. Farrell's buddy disagrees You're young, you're so young, he responds. The banter while Atchison and Farrell laid in mail carts was improvised and almost got cut. Then Favreau 58, ultimately made sure it stayed in.
Speaker 3The producers wanted to axe the whole scene. Because of that, I think who is going to believe this guy is 26? I mean, seriously, I believe I was 46 at the time, and an older 46 even at that, because I never looked young in my life. That's what he said. Then, however, jon Favreau fought for it. He said that the joke. That's the funny part, right? That that was the joke he continues and that's the funny part, right, that that was the joke he continues. He kept me in, but they didn't want me. But he did, and thank God for me because it changed my career quite a bit. So the line about the mailroom worker being 26 years old has been given new life with viral posts online, which is so true.
Speaker 1I've seen so many videos where people are like this guy does look 26 he looks so much older and it was work release because he was like an inmate or something yeah and he does. He looks like 66 and he's like I'm 26. I love elf yeah, it's such a good movie it's so good.
Speaker 3but then, like does people say how, like now more than ever, that they relate to the elf mailroom guy who is inexplicably 26 years old and, like this, people cackle over it. Yeah, it's so funny.

Speaker 3Wendy Williams showed up for her son, kevin Hunter Jr, on his big day. On Thursday, december 19th, which was yesterday, the former Wendy Williams show host celebrated her son's college graduation from Florida International University. In a photo obtained by People, williams was seen alongside her family members in a motorized scooter she customized with a cup holder with Louis Vuitton monograms and a front pouch with Chanel motifs. The television personality dressed up for the occasion, sporting a sparkly low cut dress, black boots and a large W necklace. The host welcomed her first and only child, kevin 24, with her ex-husband, kevin Hunter, in August 2000, before her split from the husband. And yeah, that's about it, nothing else here. Yeah.

Speaker 1Anyway, on to pop culture. I don't really have much great stories today. There's not a lot happening in the pop world, but I've got three little quick ones. The top three here we go. Little quick ones, the top three, here we go. Shipping label on taped closed box of abandoned puppies left at bus stop leads police to the suspect.
Speaker 1An Oregon man faces six charges of animal abandonment, one for each dog, after allegedly leaving a box of puppies near a bus stop. The 72-year-old Jeffrey Duggar abandoned the puppies in a large box near the bus stop in Springfield, oregon. According to the incident report, a community member discovered the box, which contained six puppies only several weeks old, and called the animal control right away. They transported the pups to the Humane Society, where they got a closer look at the unsafe conditions. The box had been taped completely closed, so they had no ventilation, no food, no water, nothing to keep them warm, and the temperatures were 30 degrees.
Speaker 1The box revealed a shipping label with Duggar's name on it. Well, that was stupid, right, yep? Investigators learned that the 72-year-old made a call to the Humane Society about a day before the abandoned puppies were found, during which he threatened to dispose of them if the organization didn't take them immediately. This guy's crazy. So he since has been contacted by the animal control officers, charged with six counts of animal abandonment and cruelty. Puppies are doing well and they're working with the puppies to get them healthy and put them up for adoption. What goes on with people?

Abandoned Bulldog Rescue and Holiday Cheer
Speaker 1First of all, if you're going to do something stupid, don't have your name on it, whatever. So he got caught. Good for him. Go to jail on Christmas. Next story Now we go to Iowa. From Oregon to Iowa, iowa police seek community's help after finding an abandoned and emaciated bulldog in a trash bag. Look at this poor guy. Do you see him? This is atrocious.
Speaker 1A male bulldog in desperate need of help is in caring hands. After someone dumped the dog, taped up in a trash bag, the Des Moines Police Department said it was requesting the community's assistance, determining who abandoned the puppy. On the side, the agency added that someone brought the ailing animal to the city of Des Moines Animal Services. They found the bulldog on the side of an Iowa road, tied up in a trash bag, with his head sticking out. The male bulldog's body was inside a plastic trash bag, secured, closed with tape, rendering the dog unable to walk. The head was outside of the bag. The person who reported finding the dog said that it caught his attention as they drove by and saw this trash bag. After arriving at the shelter, the dog had an exam where the staff found the dog to be emaciated and weighed 23 pounds oh my gosh. So he is slowly recovering, but they're asking for people's help to try to figure out who did this to him. Poor guy he's like so skinny. So now they're going to fatten him up for the holidays.
Speaker 1And to end on a happy note, this is quite funny. Kylie Jenner dresses dogs in adorably festive sweaters as she gets into the holiday spirit. So we're ending on a cute happy note. Look how cute. And they, might I add, have sleeves Okay.

Speaker 1She posted a photo of her two dachshunds wrapped up in Christmas sweaters. The pups appeared to be rolling around and playing on a fluffy white blanket. As seen on the stories, one pooch wore a red and white striped long sleeve sweater with a little image of Snoopy stitched on the back, while the others sported a turtleneck red and green stripes. Look at how cute. And they have nice sleeves.
Speaker 1So, on a happy story, the dachshunds are celebrating Christmas early. This was just yesterday. She posted this and look how cute they are. So she has two dachshunds, aww. Speaker 1Park before heading down to Canal Street, and we got these famous little chestnuts and guys. I have to tell you they're quite delicious and guys, I have to tell you they're quite delicious. So good, yeah. And Tink was like wait, this is a nut. And I said, no, google it, tink, it's a fruit that grows on a nut tree.
Speaker 3It's a fruit.
Speaker 1Yeah, so it's really cool. They were tiny, they weren't like big guys or anything, but they were really good.
