Hi, I'm.
Speaker 1Tinkerbell the dog, and I'm her little sister, belle, and this is our podcast.
Speaker 2Fierce fabulous fluff Talking about stuff Gossip Pups. Fierce fabulous fluff Talking about stuff Gossip Pups. Happy Friday everyone.
Speaker 1I'm Tinkerbell and I'm Belle, and welcome to Gossip Pops, season 3, episode 6.
Speaker 3Season 3, episode 6. Go ahead, Tinkerbell Episode 6.
Speaker 16. It's a 6 Friday, also known as episode 109. Yep, good morning everyone Morning, happy Far-i-day.
Speaker 3Yeah, can't believe we're back here Another Far-i-day.
Speaker 1Yeah. Surrounded by crazy weather still.
Speaker 3Our first Far-i-day in February.
Speaker 1Is it our first Farideh in February? Oh yes, it is Wow. Happy February then, mm-hmm, and happy National.
Speaker 2Go Red for.
Speaker 1Heart Day, or whatever it's called. You're supposed to wear red today for women's heart health. Happy Women's Heart Health Day, what else? Happy Super Bowl weekend.
Speaker 3Super Bowl weekend.
Speaker 1She will be there, but we can't talk about that because I'm sure Tinky will talk about that during pop culture. Wow yeah, so it's got a lot happening, so much happening. So much happening, a lot happening. Our weather in New York has been crazy. It snowed a lot yesterday morning, then it's supposed to snow Saturday and Sunday, and I don't know what's happening. I've never seen this much snow.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 1Whatever Wild Bring on spring.
Speaker 3I'm honestly ready for spring. I've been ready since the fall yeah, and we didn't talk about those groundhogs oh yeah, because I don't know why just everything's falling so far away from friday. Yeah, so by the time we get to friday, we can't like it's like old news, ith. So by the time we get to Farideh, we can't like it's like old news. It's old news, but I mean we have to keep up with it, I guess.
Speaker 1I just have to say that they need to unionize these groundhogs, what they need to make a union and have a meeting before their predictions, because every single groundhog in every city, every state doesn't agree with the other one. But isn't that the point? What is that a point of then? I'm confused and I could come out of a little mole hole that's like the psychics. What do you mean?
Speaker 3You were talking about the psychics, how they're predicting the. Eagles will win and some are predicting the Chiefs are going to win.
Speaker 1Well, the Today Show did that.
Speaker 3Okay, yes, I know, but I'm saying what do you expect? All the psychics are just banned together.
Speaker 1Well, that would be a smart idea, because then everyone would have one prediction and everybody would go that route, like the groundhogs who says early spring, who says late spring. I mean, I don't know which hog to believe. Honestly, pick a hog and just roll the dice.
Speaker 3Yeah, and honestly, I don't really even understand it, to be honest.
Speaker 1I don't think they can tell.
Speaker 3I think it's kind of silly.
Speaker 1What's the?
Speaker 3history behind this holiday.
Speaker 1I don't know this whole see the shadow thing. Is it real? Or is this made up to just to have another day? Because I don't think it. Does it ever come true? Is anyone ever like oh, my groundhog told me and I was right, he was right Like, does anyone ever do that? I don't know, let me know about your groundhog. Do that? I don't know, let me know about your Groundhog. But I know it's like as soon as everyone turned on social media on Groundhog Day, it was this one says this, this one says this, but this one says this, but this one says this who you believe? I don't know who to believe, but I wish they could just get together and have a meeting and talk about it first, because I would like to jump on the bandwagon of oh yeah, it's going to be more winter or something.
Speaker 3But I don't know what's happening. It's a Pennsylvania Dutch superstition.
Speaker 1So then we're supposed to go with, if a?
Speaker 3groundhog emerges from its burrow on this day and sees its shadow, it will retreat to its den and winter will go on for six more weeks. If it does not see its shadow, spring will arrive early okay.
Speaker 1So here's the thing these are not groundhogs in the wild. These people put these groundhogs in the ground and tell them to come out. So then, at that point, isn't it based on where the sun is hitting the groundhog's hole? No, it says that it's. I mean, that's logical.
Speaker 3It says it's weather lore. What Lore? Like folklore, like it's kind of just fake, like what's the real point of this?
Speaker 1So if we're going to believe one, we have to believe a Pennsylvania groundhog, Because that's where this tradition comes from. I don't.
Speaker 3I don't know. Is that Puxatawney? Where's Puxatawney?
Speaker 1I don't know. Yeah, isn't Puxatawney?
Speaker 3I honestly don't understand it and I don't think that it's a real like a real thing.
Speaker 2I don't either. They say it's superstitious, but I guess it's just a fun thing.
Speaker 3But I guess what's yeah, what's a super? I mean, there's tons of superstitions that we follow.
Speaker 1Yeah, don't go under a ladder, we don't crawl under ladder, we don't walk under ladder. What else?
Speaker 3Yeah, but this is like just predicting weather, though it's so strange.
Speaker 1My point exactly.
Speaker 3Sorry to offend those who love Groundhog Day.
Speaker 1Yeah, I don't know. I mean I like the guys, they're very cute these hogs, but I just don't get it.
Speaker 3I just don't get it either.
Speaker 1Yeah, anyway, so happy Friday. Let me go on to banter.
Speaker 3Okay, yeah, We'll go on to banter and then we'll probably just do a little recap of the Grammys.
Speaker 1I didn't make that a story, but we obviously watched them. Yes, we did not. Okay, so here we go. So what happened?
Speaker 2Bell's a banter.
Speaker 1All right. So we saw this trend to go to this place called Chili's.
Speaker 3I don't know if any of you have heard this or not.
Speaker 1So there's this place called Chili's Tink, and I have never been there, so we had to go on the map and find one that we can get to. Yes, so here we go to this place called Chili's to do this TikTokable content and order the. What is it? Three piece, three. What is it called? Three? I forgot what it's called already.
Speaker 3It's called the triple dipper.
Speaker 1Triple dipper. So here we go. Well, if I tell you I have never had the best cheese in my life, and Tank was so funny her eyes were crossing, I was shook.
Speaker 3But also I was shook because, wow, honestly, as a dog, with, you know, a refined palate who likes the finer things in life, I was just like in heaven there.
Speaker 1Tink's eyes were crossing With the cheese. Her eyes were crossing. It was the funniest thing. I'm like, tink, you're crossing her eyes. She's like I can't help it. I can't stop the cheese.
Speaker 3I felt like we were in another world.
American Day and Grammy Awards Recap
Speaker 1Yeah, I thought we were.
Speaker 3We don't usually go to these kind of places, guys.
Speaker 1No, not that there's anything wrong with it.
Speaker 3No, nothing wrong with it. We've never like, we've never been to even Olive Garden. I see that all the time. Everyone's unlimited breadsticks, blah, blah, blah. Yeah, never been there Unlimited pasta or bread bowl or something I guess we're not the chain pups. Yeah, we just like don't really go to chains, so we've never been there.
Speaker 1So when we were seeing this, we're like, well, where is? Where? Can we find one? Because I don't know? So we found one. It was about what? A half hour drive.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 1Half hour and they had no problem giving us a table and serving us. It was like they knew we were coming, I guess.
Speaker 3but they didn't. It was so nice too, so nice, so nice.
Speaker 1What's happening at this?
Speaker 3Chili's is the nicest people Everyone's happy because they're having fried mozzarella sticks, they're having boneless wings, they're having sliders.
Speaker 1We go Tinka and I walk in and the girl hostess was like hi.
Speaker 3And she was so nice.
Speaker 1And she's like come on, I'll give you this corner table. And we're like what is this? And everyone who was sitting in there was nice eating. Our waitress was nice and, if I tell you, the Diet Cokes were on fleek.
Speaker 3Oh, they were delish.
Speaker 1Something with those mugs of theirs.
Speaker 3I guess. So yeah, no, it's something with the fountain. Obviously the system.
Speaker 1It's a magic fountain. I tell you magic.
Speaker 3I haven't had a Diet Coke like that in forever.
Speaker 1Yeah, we really haven't, because Tinka and I are like Even better than it was, better than McDonald's. No, and here's the thing. They even gave me a cup of water and for me to turn down the water you know that that's a sign I went right for that soda and I'm a water drinker, but anyway, so we did that. That was really fun. The content's up on our TikTok Instagram.
Speaker 3Triple Dipper was delicious. I definitely Two thumbs up. Yeah, I've been thinking about it since we went.
Speaker 1Yeah, Tink's been dreaming of it and her eyes have been spinning.
Speaker 3I want to go back. Yeah, I'm dreaming of the Diet Coke and the Triple Dipper.
Speaker 1So then anyway. So what do you do after you go drive a half hour to find this place called Chili's? Well, you see a giant superstore, target. So we had to go shopping at Target.
Speaker 3So we went there after.
Speaker 1That was fun, what else? It was a real there after. That was fun, what else?
Speaker 3Oh, we had. It was a real American day.
Speaker 1Oh, yes, we certainly were. Middle America, here we come, it was great. What else did we do this week? To recap, we had our bath, of course, because filthy I don't get it. Our hair was cut two and a half weeks ago and we already look crazy. Just saying we did watch the Grammy Awards. We won't talk of that until we talk with Tink. We had another audition each and, oh, we got these presents From a company called Just Fred and, if I tell you, the sweaters, are so nice and they sent us both a black harness each and leashes like I never heard of this company.
Speaker 1I loved it. So thank you. Just, fred, shout out Guys, go check it out. It's really nice we're not making money on this. It's not sponsored Dad.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 1But honestly we like it.
Speaker 3Nice cozy sweaters.
Speaker 1Yeah, Okay. So while we're in banter, let's talk about the Grammys.
Speaker 3Okay.
Speaker 1Okay, so I don't know. I'm happy Sabrina won. I wish I saw her win both awards. I just felt like it was not the Grammys, it was a fundraisermys, it was a fundraiser TV special.
Speaker 3Yeah, so I think that Trevor Noah this should be his last.
Speaker 1He was boring.
Speaker 3Yeah, they need to replace him with someone else at this point. Like he was, it wasn't even. He wasn't funny. It wasn't funny. Yeah, it wasn't entertaining.
Speaker 1All he did every second was say scan the qr card and donate, and donate, and donate. And it's terrible.
Speaker 3I don't even think what's happening is california.
Speaker 1No, they did not need him at all. But what's happening? And they only had him to remind everyone to give money. What's happening in california with the fires is horrible and, yeah, awful, but they did already have a TV special fundraiser for it, with the singers and everything. But this became that and we missed, I'd say, 80% of the awards because they weren't televised.
Speaker 3No, well, that's always how it is.
Speaker 1No, I feel like we missed more because they were doing all these special song trips.
Speaker 3No no, they didn't. No, you didn't miss anything because, that's before the night. That's like how the tony awards are, and they give out a bunch of awards off camera before the show even starts, because they don't have enough time I know, but there were more off camera than usual no, I don't think so. It's usually. That's the way it goes okay I didn't. I don't know sorry for me, sorry, no, it it was way too long way too long for me.
Speaker 1I passed out and fell asleep they really extended it yeah, way too long it was like two in the morning, I was like I'm done with this fundraiser I'm happy.
Speaker 3I'm happy that sabrina won we are thrilled i'm'm happy that Chapel Rowan won.
Speaker 1Excellent, we haven't met her, but she's on our list. I know I mean okay, other than, that I don't know Kendrick Lamar's song.
Speaker 3I know that it's like a song that is a diss track to Drake or something.
Speaker 1Yeah no idea.
Speaker 3But I don't even know it and I guess he deserved it. I don't know. I mean, I know people love his music there's a lot of Kendrick Lamar fans out there but I just didn't expect that to win song and record of the year, but it did, and Taylor looked beautiful presenting the the country award and I understood why she presented it?
Speaker 3because she loved it all those years ago yeah, I loved how she presented it um she's classic to beyonce they're okay, I'm just okay. Well, say it well, you said last week how if she didn't win she was gonna kill someone. So no one was killed. Cause she won, cause she won and Album of the year.
Speaker 1Taylor was Slept down cause Beyonce Needed her time, cause they were gonna Burn down the building. She and Jay Z and yep, and how about that fake acting Face? She made you think it was fake. Absolutely. I don't buy that for a second. Come on Like I don't know Whatever.
Speaker 3Okay, this is what's so crazy is that it's just they're all so jealous of Taylor, whatever. I mean, I'm not saying that, like Beyonce is very talented not saying she's not. I think she's like. I think she's great yes that Texas Hold'em song was popular but I wasn't really crazy about it. But just like going with the stats, it just makes me a little annoyed because it's apparent on the sales and everything okay, tortured poets department sold 1.914 million units, that's correct. Guess how many cowboy carter sold two? No, just guess, like a real guess.
Speaker 1That's my real guess, honestly, guys 228,000 copies. Okay, I rest my case. If I told you the truth last time, they would burn down the house. Now you see in proof.
Speaker 3And I just don't get it.
Speaker 1I do think the whole world is a fix. The whole world is crooked.
Speaker 3Crooked.
Speaker 1Oh, you and your young years already realizing yeah come on, I knew going in if she didn't win, there was going to be an uproar. Oh yeah, and Jay-Z would have like yeah, he would have been Not yeah. So, whatever, they gave it to Beyonce because all these years she hasn't won anything. Well, maybe it's because you really didn't deserve these all these years, like you're always going to have someone competing.
Speaker 3Billie.
Speaker 1Eilish was crying because she didn't win.
Speaker 3Everyone's saying that she won it just because it's for every album that she's had.
Speaker 1Yeah, but that's not what this is. That's not what this is Like, then give her a special tribute award.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 1Like here you go for the years of hard work.
Speaker 3And is that really what you want to? I don't know. I was just like is that really what you want to win on? Like you want to win, she doesn't care? Yeah, I guess not. She just wanted her name and the grammys. She wanted album of the year, yeah, and it's not like taylor really needed it, but like at the same time, this album this album like, literally like exploded yeah, but she should not have won country either.
Speaker 1She shouldn't have won anything well, yeah, I I.
Speaker 3I was really shocked with the country.
Speaker 1So was all the country performers.
Speaker 3The albums that were against her were like works of art, yeah big, especially like Kacey Musgraves.
Speaker 1I mean, that album is incredible yeah. But, you know, it's so crazy. They just stamped their feet, since she didn't get any of the other honors, until they could convince the people their way. That's it, because, honestly, I'm not saying she's not talented. She did not deserve the award based on her this year's music, whatever. So that was the Grammys. I found them totally too long and totally too boring. I liked.
Speaker 3I liked Chapel Rowan's performance and I liked that lady Shakira. I liked Shakira's performance. I liked Sabrina's performance.
Speaker 1Yes, she was excellent.
Speaker 3I liked. I'm trying to think what else. Yeah, but that wasn't like worth the seven hours.
Speaker 1No, no, like we sat there, tink, and I sat there yeah, well, but I stayed up for the entire thing I could not.
Speaker 3I was like tink peace out I set up for the entire thing because I wanted to see album of the year. But then, you know, when beyonce won for country and then sabrina won for pop, I was like, well, that means like taylor camp is not gonna win, because wouldn't she have won the pop album if she was gonna be the top?
Speaker 1one. I was confused. There's no logic here.
Speaker 3So then I was like, okay, well, maybe Sabrina will take it. But it didn't happen. It's okay, whatever, we're moving on.
Speaker 1Moving on. I'm glad that was old news last week. Now we're on to this week. But before we go on because I forgot to give you some stats last week- oh, we have to do our stats and Forgot to give you some stats last week. Oh, we have to do our stats.
Speaker 3And thank our new locations, new listeners.
Speaker 1You have to thank all y'all, all y'all, all y'all. New locations welcome Moscow, moscow.
Speaker 3Like Russia.
Speaker 1Apparently oh okay, welcome, oakland, california. Woof shout out Oakland, welcome. Wow, we love you. You Sydney, new South Wales, aw.
Speaker 3Welcome. Gotta love the UK.
Speaker 1Yay, welcome welcome.
Speaker 3We always love y'all.
Speaker 1Yeah, so um wow.
Speaker 3What.
Speaker 1Do you know? Our top countries and territories have shifted dramatically.
Speaker 3How have they shifted dramatically?
Speaker 1Well, united States is number one, germany has back up to number two, but you're ready for number three, the Ukraine? Oh, okay. Number four is France, number five is Japan.
Speaker 3Oh wait, so no, but Moscow's not in Ukraine. No, Just kidding.
Speaker 1But that's really cool. No Moscow's down here, See the Russian Federation, I think. Yeah, I see, that's down there.
Speaker 2Really cool, got it.
Speaker 1Welcome new listeners.
Speaker 3Yeah, welcome.
Speaker 1Amazing, yeah. So yeah, those are the stats, because I forgot to share them last week, and stats because I forgot to share them last week and now I'm talking.
Speaker 3Make sure to give us five paws up, yeah, and a review, yeah everybody.
Speaker 1Please the listeners keep listening. Like download, subscribe. Five paws up All that good stuff. Do it Whatever you're listening on.
Speaker 3Yeah, and share it with your friends.
Speaker 1Yeah, Anyway, so now I talk too much. So now it's your turn.
Speaker 3Tink. Wow. Yeah, you talk way too much, belle.
Speaker 1I know I can't stop Belle's banter. I don't know, we bantered a lot.
Celebrity Couple Relationship Speculation
Speaker 3Well, guys, it's Super Bowl weekend and things are getting wild in New Orleans. Yeah, they are New Orleans. Nola, nola, nola. Okay, so I guess we'll talk about all this NOLola stuff that's going on. Party time, okay. So throughout the week there's been so many interviews with travis um that are going viral I know I feel bad for him.
Speaker 3Like leave the guy alone um, and it's been like really strange, I, and because you know everyone is just saying like everyone's just asking about taylor, and it's been like really strange, and because you know everyone is just saying like everyone's just asking about Taylor, and it's like it's kind of rude.
Speaker 1Exactly, leave the guy alone. He's there playing football. This is his profession. Stop asking about Taylor.
Speaker 3Yeah. Believe me, I want to hear about Taylor, but let him focus on his football well, some of the questions that were asked um were are you going to propose to taylor?
Speaker 1no, that's every every reporter has asked him that question. They're so annoying like mind your own business and like honestly like why.
Speaker 3That is not what this is about yeah, and even if that was going to happen, like, why would he say like, why would he confirm that I?
Speaker 1don't know, but I just feel like it's none of your business, like this is about the super bowl. He's in the super bowl. Give him that at least.
Speaker 3Believe me, I'm not a hairy face fan, but this is not right what they're doing yes, um, he also talked about, like her culinary skills, like making pop tarts again, and I'm like, is this like last?
Speaker 1year. This is like the same thing. I know because everyone's like what is your favorite thing she makes? I'm like why would you ask that question? The guy is, but it's literally a football player.
Speaker 3It's literally deja vu, like I feel like we're literally watching the same thing as last year so I was like I'm so confused, um and yeah. And then they also asked like what's his favorite song? Although he did say but I think he's answered this on some other, either on his podcast or some other question, that wasn't at the Super Bowl last year but they asked like what his favorite song was from the Tortured Poets Department. Yeah, and he said so, high School. And I'm like, yeah, duh, because like that's about him.
Speaker 1Yeah, just should not answer any questions about Taylor and have his publicist or the team's publicist be like look, you're going to talk about football, or he will not be answering your questions today.
Speaker 3that's what a publicist is supposed to do yeah, but I don't think I think he's this. I know I think he. I think he does like, partially like it, and also he's just I don't know. I feel like if you weren't allowed to ask questions about Taylor then you wouldn't be getting all this press. So I think he likes it.
Speaker 1Well, that's why he's with her. That's what I've said from the beginning, because he likes that. But he needs to focus on his football, not being stupid and silly.
Speaker 3Well, those are questions.
Speaker 1And do you know he had to buy his own security team since being with Taylor. Of course, three billion dollars a year, or something crazy. What?
Speaker 2Yeah, three billion.
Speaker 1He had to hire his own security team.
Speaker 3I don't believe it's three billion.
Speaker 1Maybe three million.
Speaker 3It can't be three billion. I don't think he's even a billionaire. I don't know, but it's a lot of money.
Speaker 1That's like a lot three million, then it's three something he had to get his own security because well, obviously yeah, but that doesn't mean like I. I just feel like she's not on stage during a concert talking about travis, like it just doesn't make sense.
Speaker 3Yeah, but he has to do these interviews. That's like part of being an athlete.
Speaker 1Yes but they're not talking about anything about his athleticism.
Speaker 3Yeah, well, that's the problem, but like Taylor doesn't have to do interviews for her Eros tour.
Speaker 1No.
Speaker 3Or, like Taylor, doesn't have to do interviews at the Grammys she doesn't. No.
Speaker 1I don't think anyone really talks to her ever. I'm surprised she even does the carpet which she did.
Speaker 3Yeah, she does the carpet and then she's like peace.
Speaker 1Yeah, but I don't know why she even does that, like she doesn't need to do that.
Speaker 3Yeah, she does. No, she doesn't. She likes to show up and look good and get her photo taken and everyone talks about it.
Speaker 1Yeah, she has to she doesn't have to, but no, she doesn't have to.
Speaker 3I don't. I don't think beyonce did it celebrities that don't do it. I don't think beyonce did the carpet. Yeah, no, you can skip the carpet if you want, but I think taylor definitely likes the carpet. That's how all the swifties are as soon as she hits the carpet, taylor, she's all over.
Speaker 1Gosh the swifties are posting screenshots and yeah, it's like a making up stories, making up this. Made up that. Anyway, back to football. Yeah, bye, taylor, um football time they also asked uh.
Speaker 3The last thing that they asked uh, travis, I see as an article is that do you listen to Kanye? And Travis gave a blunt no.
Speaker 1That's not hard. They asked me. I'd say no too, and that's just how it is.
Speaker 3Yeah, wait, we didn't talk about that at the Grammys.
Speaker 1I don't think that's worth.
Speaker 3Worth even talking about. No, well, just the fact that they're going on the carpet, oh my God, it's so wild.
Speaker 1She was naked. I don't think this is worth giving it a time of day, no, but the fact that they got kicked out Good. Like that is. I am just, I don't understand. I don't understand him at all.
Speaker 3It's scary.
Speaker 1Yes.
Speaker 3That's all we'll say about Mr Kanye, because today he's making headlines again.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 3For this, yeah, this series of tweets that he put out, and I just don't even think it's worth talking about it, because it's like obviously there's mental illness.
Speaker 1There's some disturbedness happening, disturbedness.
Speaker 3Yeah, he's a very strange guy.
Speaker 1We're not going to give him credibility here, yeah.
Speaker 3We'll just move on.
Speaker 1Maybe he'll get help. That's all I'll say.
Speaker 3I it's yeah, yeah, that's all we'll say Moving it's yeah, yeah, that's all we'll say. Moving on, okay, well on, it's a before I day moving on Next story. So after all that about the Trav, then we have Travis. Kelsey's dad, ed thinks NFL star and Taylor Swift are headed for a good period in their relationship. So Now that dad's involved.
Speaker 3Ed Kelsey is excited to see what Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift do with the blank space in their schedules. Yes, kansas city chiefs tight ends. Dad said on Australia's today show, thursday, that he believes I don't know, maybe it's a virtual that he believes the couple is headed for a good period in their relationship after this weekend's Super Bowl. Without the NFL season and without the Erez tour, it will be just them alone really connecting more. Ed explained.
Speaker 1That's obvious. You have 24-7 now. He thinks it will be a really good thing, either someone's going to get kicked out or it's going to work out.
Speaker 3Yeah, so that's going gonna be the ultimate test.
Speaker 1I feel because no heiress tour.
Speaker 3No football months a whole summer. This is like the ultimate test.
Speaker 1Well, they'll be traveling on Taylor's plane. But do you think like I don't know? I know I say this all the time. He's a lot like how that's 24, 7 of him the silence. I don't know, I don't know. I hope it works.
Speaker 3That's all I'll say uh, I, I hope it works too yeah, that's gonna be a lot.
Speaker 1We'll see how long. I mean, I know what she's gonna do's going to fill it with travel and social, getting together with her friends, and he'll come along and all just because that's a very big distraction.
Speaker 3I know I'm trying to manifest like and that's hours of distraction. Well, I'm trying to manifest a 4th of July party like no other.
Speaker 1Oh, it's happening because she's building that Rhode Island house bigger.
Speaker 3Yeah, I know, but I'm saying but we haven't had like one since like 1989 era. Yeah, before I want like with the big blow up, slide the slide again and everybody running around having hot dogs, hamburgers barbecue.
Speaker 1She barbecued herself. She used to, but whatever, yeah, I manifest that too. We'll see if Harry Mann makes it Harry Mann. We'll see if Harry Mann makes it Harry Mann.
Speaker 3We'll see if Harry Mann makes it yeah.
Speaker 1And I think because he had to buy the suite for Taylor again. That holds 25 to 40 people. I think Selina's going.
Speaker 3Yeah, so that's what I was going to say.
Speaker 1Oh sorry.
Speaker 3No, no, it's fine. It's like the stories today are kind of like little stories that are just intertwined for all the Super.
Speaker 1Bowl Little stories that I make big stories.
Speaker 3Yeah, but apparently Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez went out Tuesday night in LA. They went out to this bar and had dinner and drinks and apparently the waiter he tweeted that he served Taylor Swift a lover. No, London Boy cocktail. It was called London Boy cocktail and he was like yeah, but so they were together. So everyone is saying like they're probably going to be at the Super Bowl together and Benny too. Yes, yes, but you know who's not going to be at the Super Bowl? Yeah, Blake and Ryan.
Speaker 1Because they are in hot water right now and Taylor does not want to keep getting involved.
Speaker 3Yeah, and that goes on to my next, they keep throwing her name in that, yeah, and that goes on to my next story, how Taylor Swift feels used by Blake Lively. Wishes actress didn't drag her into Justin Baldoni lawsuit. I agree. Lively's alleged texts were revealed in a countersuit filed by her. It Ends With Us co-star and director, justin Baldoni. The alleged texts don't specify who the Gossip Girl alum's dragons are, but it's believed by many that the actress was referring to husband Ryan Reynolds and the Grammy winning singer Taylor Swift.
Speaker 1Yeah, her name's been brought up multiple times by both sides. Yeah, she just is doing the right thing. Step aside. Do not socialize with anyone until this is over.
Speaker 3Yeah, and honestly I don't know. I don't think they're going to be friends anymore.
Speaker 1I don't know. Apparently, you know everyone knew she was a little troublesome in the industry like a little diva, not Taylor Blake, and apparently Ryan is that way too. Did you know both of them are that way.
Speaker 3Yeah, they're giving me bad vibes, like everyone's giving me bad vibes, vibes, I feel like it's. I feel like it's just narcissistic, like people obsessed with themselves fighting with other people that are obsessed with themselves. So you have ryan, you have blake and you have this justin baldoni. They all think they're like god's gift to the world and they're not gonna give up. So it's like and here's the thing too both sides have bad backstories like yeah really bad he baldoni yeah, we did hear about that other is bad baldoni bad baldoni oof you don't.
Speaker 1all the backstories, lawsuits, things that have been hidden, buried, are coming out, and it's bad, bad Baldoni.
Speaker 3Yeah, and then this whole Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds thing. It's not looking good, no so.
Speaker 1I think they should all just like throw that. What is it? A white thing? In the air and call truce, because this is going to get really bad.
Speaker 3Yeah, what is it called the flag? White flag.
Speaker 1Yeah, something like that. I don't know, because this is not good, this is gonna. This could end all three of their careers I don't know about that. I mean, it seems like it's just showing all three as not good people honestly, I'm just tired of it yeah, every day, and honestly every day, every day, every day and honestly, taylor good like stay out yeah, stay out not worth getting involved. Stay neutral, stay out.
Speaker 3Plead the fifth do not answer your phone until this is over yeah, and she probably is like I don't know, I don't think they're gonna be friends anymore, because I mean, I think she's's. Blake will probably be upset that she's not getting involved oh, yeah, yeah, absolutely whatever.
Celebrity Super Bowl Speculation
Speaker 1Moving on, because I don't want to give them more credibility. That's how it. Is bad, baldoni, bad.
Speaker 3Baldoni yeah, so she will not be at the Super Bowl. I am a thousand percent sure.
Speaker 1Yeah, One of those 40 people in that booth I don't think will be her.
Speaker 3Who do you think is going to be there?
Speaker 1Well, last year, I Spice, was there too.
Speaker 3Yeah, but are they even friends? Still Like I'm?
Speaker 1always so confused, I think Sabrina's coming.
Speaker 3Okay, so we think Sabrina's going to go to the Super Bowl. Yeah, do we Super Bowl?
Speaker 1Yeah, selena, sabrina, all the Sabrina.
Speaker 3Selena Sabrina Benny.
Speaker 1Benny yeah, Benny's allowed to come too. Who else has she been hanging around? Well, she might have you know that Cam guy, her dancer.
Speaker 3Yeah, she might have him because he's on.
Speaker 1He was. He danced in the Grammys with Chapel Rowan. Maybe Chapel Rowan will go.
Speaker 3No, I don't think so.
Speaker 1Well, he danced with Chapel Rowan in that. I think in that segment Was that with Chapel Rowan he was in, Anyway, and Taylor saw him at the Grammys and they were like what, Celebrating?
Speaker 3themselves.
Speaker 1So she seems to be friendly with him.
Speaker 3I don't know oh do we think Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff?
Speaker 2will be there, oh yes.
Speaker 3Absolutely. Do you think they're like Super Bowl people Like I don't think they've been the one.
Speaker 1We're not Super Bowl. People Listen. We don't even know football. All of a sudden, we know football All of a sudden. We know football all of a sudden. This is a sports podcast. We don't know what we're talking about, but now we do. So you don't have to be. It's it's, it's something you go to. It doesn't mean you have to be a super, a football, football fan. It's just like a happening. To say you went to the super bowl would be like wow, you know, yeah, know.
Speaker 3Yeah Well, also at the Super Bowl, patrick Mahomes' mom, randy Martin, will be on grandma duty in Super Bowl 2025 suite as Chiefs play the Eagles. So apparently, patrick Mahomes' mom will be with a lot of friends and family in a really big suite though she's not sure exactly the location inside the dome and she'll be with her grandchildren, sterling 3, bronze 2 and Golden, who was born less than a month ago.
Speaker 1Yeah, see, I think that's amazing that they're bringing the kids, because even though the kids are young and the youngest two will not really remember it, but they will because they'll have photos of them being at a Super Bowl.
Speaker 3She'll be holding the grandbabies. She doesn't know if she'll watch the whole game, but she'll be with the grandbabies.
Speaker 1And they'll be there supporting where I think it. I mean, I understand.
Speaker 3I understand so that's the other thing how Kylie Kelsey explains that she and husband Jason won't bring kids to watch Uncle Trav and Super Bowl.
Speaker 1Yeah, apparently they pay for their tickets, although I read that she's like I am not spending $3,000 a seat for a kid who can't sit still.
Speaker 3But they said that they were going to wear Uncle Trav shirts.
Speaker 1Yeah, and they're not going now. Maybe they're just going to watch it on TV from home.
Speaker 3I don't know.
Speaker 1I don't know, I think they should have gone.
Speaker 3Maybe this is false reporting.
Speaker 1Could be false reporting, but I think they should be there because I mean it's like a once in a lifetime thing. Yeah, a once in a lifetime thing.
Speaker 3Yeah, but it's their uncle. He's going to retire when Patrick, it's their dad. It's different. I know, but the man is going to retire their dad retired.
Speaker 1They're not going because of their dad anymore. The uncle's going to retire Like this, is it Last chance. Get on board. Train is leaving, get on it. Yeah, I don't know, I think they should bring them, they I mean we'll see.
Speaker 3Yeah, maybe they will yeah and this is just not the correct reporting let's hope who knows? We'll see Taylor throwing the kids in the air and also, on top of the Super Bowl weekend, we have Josh Allen kisses Haley Steinfeld as he wins NFL's 2025 Most Valuable Player Award and calls her his rock. So Josh Allen, he's the quarterback for the Bills.
Speaker 1Yes.
Speaker 3And they're engaged. The Buffalo Bills, yes, and so Haley Steinfeld was there at the ceremony for the NFL honors and he won most valuable player, nice and nice, I know.
Speaker 3Normal. So Alan's fiance was the last but not least in his speech, telling her you've been my rock, you're my best friend. I would not be standing on the stage if it weren't for you. Aw, very nice. So I mean that's nice that he won that award. Yes, it is. I mean he played really hard, they got really far, yeah, very far. But you know, against my homes, my homies, my homies, anyway. So that's all of my real pop culture that's going on right now. Also, did you see that Jason Kelsey threw a whole New Heights party?
Speaker 1Yes.
Speaker 3At the Super Bowl. Yeah, it was like star studded. Yeah, they had a bunch of influencers. I mean, New Orleans must be like right now.
Speaker 1Yeah, it must be wild right now, oh yeah, it's like. Mardi Gras early.
Speaker 3Mm-hmm Wild, like two parties in one, yeah, anyway, so that's really all my pop culture.
Speaker 1All right, go Ting, great that we got for you guys. So we got Bad Badoni and my homies Bad Badoni All in one episode. Yes, okay, here I go on to pop culture. I won't drag out the stories, but I've got three quick little stories. Pop culture. Wait till you hear this one Now this, I will say, is something human would do.
Speaker 3What do you mean?
Speaker 1Headline is woman goes viral after finding unconventional way to walk her dog while on vacation. And here comes the story.
Speaker 3Oh no, I'm scared.
Speaker 1Emily and her dog Wendell were visiting her home state of Minnesota when the pair decided to drive 20 minutes to her sister's house to catch up. She sorry, I got a frog. That's crazy.
Speaker 1She put Wendell, who is four years old, in the car and turned on the seed heater. Once they arrived, she took him out and let him play around her sister's house while they chatted. After a while she and her sister decided to go get some exercise and head to Starbucks for coffee, which is only a half a mile away. But then the dogmong went to grab Wendell and she realized she forgot something. I didn't bring a leash, she said. So we started searching around my sister's house for something that we could use. She's never had a dog before, and I'm a crazy dog lady of the family, so it was shocking that she didn't have what I needed. And so this girl is like okay, do you have a rope, a ribbon, maybe an infinity scarf, she said. And the sister had just moved into this new house and was doing this minimalist thing, so she literally had nothing. So, long story short, she searched around and what did she find? An extension cord.
Speaker 1So she used the extension cord as the leash to walk the dog, because she told the sister was like, just leave him here. And she's like no, he's been cooped up in the car, he needs to exercise too. So she used this extension cord and when they got to starbucks she felt like everybody was like looking at her. So she's like guys, I'm not electrocuting my dog. I forgot his leash and my sister didn't have one and I refused to not let him get his pup cup. So he, uh, survived, got his pup cup and walked with look, see, see, there he is wow on the extension cord.
Speaker 1So I thought that was a funny one.
Speaker 3That's hilarious. It makes me think. I feel like a human walked us with a scarf once.
Speaker 1Yes.
Speaker 3Because she forgot. Forgot the leash. Yeah, and we're in the car. And then she took a long scarf and walked us with a scarf.
Speaker 2Tied it around.
Speaker 1Yeah See, you have to utilize what's around. Yes, do there you go um.
Speaker 1I've got another rescue story okay a dog rescued is doing well after a 200 foot tumble down the icy waterfall while hiking with an owner. California dog recovering after facing a gnarly tumble down a waterfall while hiking with his owner. The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office received a call from the owner of a mid-sized brown pup named Moscow. Frightening news while on a hike around Cascade Falls in South Lake Tahoe, california, his dog slid over the falls and fell 200 feet. So here's the rescue. They couldn't. He had to call for help because he couldn't go down and get him.
Speaker 1So they all came, the fire and rescue responders came and they saw him the dog, down there. They were able to harness and strap a back, poor backpack kind of thing together. They went down, got the dog, put him in this makeshift harness and were able to bring him up. Look, see him hanging on this makeshift fine. So long story short, thank you to the rescue team. Again, he's up, he's fine. He has a couple of injuries but he's doing very, very well and he's with his owner. So thank you. Another Rescue, woo-hoo, woo-hoo. I feel like every Friday we've got some amazing rescue stories because in the winter, like between the ice and everything else, everyone's just having accidents.
Speaker 1My last story is crazy.
Speaker 3Oh, okay.
Speaker 1Comes from.
Speaker 3Reddit. Reddit man says I've never heard you do a story from Reddit.
Speaker 1Yeah, I've done one. You're like is this from Reddit?
Speaker 3No, I always ask if this is from the UK, what's that? Oh, mirror UK, mirror UK. So I'm like, oh gosh, here we go.
Speaker 1Man says his neighbor accused him of vandalizing her dog's coat, but he says he was just trying to help. So this guy thought he was doing the good deed for the neighbor. But now the neighbor is threatening to sue him. This guy detailed how his act of kindness has sparked unpleasant dispute with his elderly neighbor. How his act of kindness has sparked unpleasant dispute with his elderly neighbor. He explained.
Speaker 1The 87-year-old woman, who's nearly blind and very stubborn, has this support black Labrador. Now it's not registered as an official support dog, but that's apparently what she says. He is Long story short. Here we go. She lets the black lab out all the time, all times of the day, and he just roams through the streets and all this dog has almost gotten killed 12 times by the neighbors. So the neighbors keep figuring out what can we do? Because every time they tell the lady she doesn't care, she cares that it's her dog. She doesn't, she's doesn't care. Yeah, she cares that. You know it's her, her dog. She doesn't want him hurt, but she doesn't care that they're having issues with the dog. Okay, so what does this guy do? He takes matters into his own hands and sprayed the black lab's coat entirely with reflective spray paint. He thought he was a genius, because now everybody can see him in the dark while they're driving down the road.
Speaker 3Except now the dog is dying of kidney failure or something what's happening.
Speaker 1They're trying. Is it toxic? Of course it's toxic, everything is toxic. So he goes to the neighbor telling her how, how good a job he did, and the neighbor's furious, and now she's slapping lawsuits on him. So the question is who's right and who's wrong?
Speaker 3oh um. You don't spray another person's dog with paint, I'm sorry.
Speaker 1But even though he's always in the middle of the road in the dark, so how do you fix this situation?
Speaker 3Well, it's not with paint. I mean, go get one of those glow-in-the-dark vests or something she refused to put it on him.
Speaker 1The guy tried that too. The guy brought him reflective coat. She wouldn't let him wear it.
Speaker 3Okay. So the guy tried everything but I wouldn't have done this. This is negligence from the owner and, honestly, should be taken away. Unfortunately. You could maybe like report it, or next time you see the dog outside just take the dog.
Speaker 1Wouldn't she be more upset if the dog actually was run over by one of these cars that has had to swerve?
Speaker 3Maybe Right.
Speaker 1This is a hard situation, exactly so he refuses to apologize. She's just fuming and his coat is damaged. I mean, it's got spray paint all over it. How do you?
Speaker 3get that off. Why don't you just get him a collar with lights on it or something?
Speaker 1This guy apparently the guy says he bought her collars, he's bought coats, he's done everything he could and that's why he was at his wit's end and did this To protect the dog, because he was worried.
Speaker 3He should have done it, but then not said that he did it.
Speaker 1I think you can see.
Speaker 3Does she have a ring camera?
Speaker 1or something, I don't know, but I think you can see.
Speaker 3Where is this?
Speaker 1again, what town Is this in America? Yeah, it is. Oh yeah, where it's here. It doesn't tell me where this is, but it's in like some. It's not like in like a New York City area. It's more suburban. It doesn't say where it is.
Speaker 3He should have hired someone to do it.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 3So that he wasn't responsible, I mean the poor guy.
Speaker 1The problem is that he's a big black dog and at night, yeah, it doesn't say where they live, like the guy's intentions were right, but it doesn't matter, it's not his dog.
Speaker 3Yeah, maybe they could have staged him getting hit by a car, not really getting hit, but like.
Speaker 1Apparently all the neighbors in the block have, because everything is like acres there, okay, and he, instead of going back into the acres, he goes in the street. So apparently all of the neighbors have said, listen, you got to keep him out of the street because we can't see him. So I don't know. Yeah, it's a mess. Good luck to you guys, but it is like what do you do, kind of thing I don't know.
Speaker 3stay, stay. You can't Just keep to yourself, unfortunately.
Speaker 1And if you hit him, you hit him.
Speaker 3I don't know there you go, it's so frustrating.
Speaker 1That's the problem. And there we have it for our pop culture for today. Happy Friday with puppy culture, pop culture, yeah, boom, boom. So happy Super Bowl weekend everybody. Happy Super Bowl, stay warm, go Chiefs, go Chiefs.
Speaker 3Chiefs.
