Speaker 1Moving on.
Speaker 3Hi everyone.
Speaker 1Hello, happy Friday we got to a little late, start today. Yeah, sorry.
Speaker 3It's been a rough week.
Speaker 1Rough week, rough morning, but we're here and happy Friday.
Speaker 3It's a rough morning.
Speaker 1Happy spring.
Speaker 3Yeah, it's spring.
Speaker 1Hopefully everybody's weather's warming up a little.
Speaker 3This is our last episode of March.
Speaker 1Isn't it crazy?
Speaker 3April, already Next week, tuesday, yep. Time is flying.
Speaker 1Well, I guess, out with the sweaters and in with the pastels. Yes, that's how it goes.
Speaker 2Mm-hmm yeah.
Speaker 1So how's it doing, tinker?
Speaker 3How am I doing? How you doing, tinker? I'm doing, I mean I'm doing pretty well, especially since you know we went to the spa. Hey, see what the heck? I can't even talk about how I'm feeling, because it's ruining Belle's banter.
Speaker 1I'm going into banter, just zip it, rude, I'll never ask you again.
Speaker 3How are you doing, Belle?
Speaker 1I'm great, and right now I'm going to banter before Blabbermouth Tink says something.
Speaker 3Well.
Speaker 1Yeah, anyway, happy Friday, happy end of March, and here we go into Belle's banter because we got Tink, who's got a big blabbermouth today. So here's what happened this week. I just have to say this is episode 13. And do you know, that's a Swifty thing. I know you didn't say anything about that.
Speaker 3Tinku, I didn't because I don't know, because I had a feeling you were going to say how did you know I was going to say it?
Speaker 1I'm a banterer, not a pop culture. Anyway, happy Pop cult.
Speaker 3Pop culture, Pop pop. Wait, I cannot speak. Pop culture.
Speaker 1I'm a pop culture, you're a pop culture, but I'm bantering Pop culture. This is a Taylor Swift episode number 13. There you go. So what else happened this week? Of course, we had a bath, which I don't know. When our hair is long, we need like a bath every day. I don't know what happens.
Speaker 3It's just a lot.
Speaker 1I don't know. The air and whatever is flying in the air just lands on us. I don't get it. What else happened? Oh yeah, and whatever is flying in the air just lands on us. I don't get it. What else happened? Oh yeah, I went and had some fun with the dancers at the dance studio. Hung out with them, met some new tiny dancers. They were very cute Nice I haven't seen them before. Yep, what else? Okay, so this is what Blabbermouth Tink was saying. We had our spa day yesterday.
Speaker 2Yeah, we did.
Speaker 1And it was an all-day affair and it was fabulous.
Speaker 3Fantastic.
Speaker 1It was the best day ever, and now we're back to our shorter, fabulous fluff. Fierce, fabulous fluff. Shorter version.
Speaker 3Yes, thank God.
Speaker 1And what else happened this week? Oh yes, okay. So we have a big event coming up and Pooch Couture designed us a special outfit for it, but I'm not going to say when or where, but shout out. Pooch Couture designed us a special outfit for it, but I'm not going to say when or where, but shout out, pooch Couture, we love you.
Speaker 3Shout out Pooch Couture really hooked us up.
Speaker 1Boy, did they? They really did. She's the best.
Speaker 2Mm-hmm.
Speaker 1And we also have something fun to shoot. Today, the Max Bone sent us their new collab with Anthropologie. I'm not going to say anything else other than I can't wait to shoot it.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 1Fun. Did we have an audition this week? No, I don't think so. This is our first week with no audition. It was a quiet week. Yeah, it was a very strange week.
Speaker 3I guess yeah.
Speaker 1Yeah, a little strange, but week I guess. Yeah, yeah, a little strange, but whatever, we are all here. Gossip Pups is still going and happy 4i Day.
Speaker 3Yeah, Gossip Pups is going strong.
Speaker 1Mm-hmm, and now I'm turning it over to Blabbermouth. Tink what.
Speaker 3We're already going to pop culture.
Belle's Banter
Speaker 1Well, there's not much more to say in. Well, there's not much more to say inventor not much more to say. I could tell you a secret. Sometimes I like to beat Tinkerbell up you do and I go and Tinkerbell runs for the hills. It's the funniest thing Because I don't accept this abuse.
Speaker 3I will not partake.
Speaker 1It's very funny.
Speaker 3I just have to stare at Tink. I'm meant to model.
Speaker 1Sometimes I just stare at. Tink and she knows and she starts to move.
Speaker 3It's so true.
Speaker 1Yeah, it's funny.
Speaker 3Oh my.
Speaker 1This world. She just has that attitude that sometimes I just don't accept it.
Speaker 3I can't help myself.
Speaker 1She just has. Sometimes she looks at me wrong and I'm like, oh, you better get back, tink. I'm at you now, yeah, so that's it.
Pop Culture
Speaker 3Hit it Tink. Okay, are we going to pop culture? We're popping it, so should I start with like a huge story of the week.
Speaker 1Yeah, oh yeah.
Speaker 3One that you're going to have probably a lot of opinions on.
Speaker 1Maybe not. I know what you're talking about.
Speaker 3What am I talking?
Speaker 1about Because, honestly, nothing's happened this week. Nothing's really happened.
Speaker 3Also, I have no updates on the queen, like she is on the DL. She's hiding out and if you're new here at Gossip Hubs the queen is Taylor Swift.
Speaker 1That's right, it's Taylor Swift episode.
Speaker 3Yeah, so our 13th episode. I have no updates about her, she's just on the DL.
Speaker 1She's hiding because, listen, she worked two years straight, was on that stage for four hours each day. I would be sleeping like a bear in the hibernation too.
Speaker 3Yeah, and then everyone's just trying to get her on their side for this and that and she's not playing the game.
Speaker 1No, apparently she doesn't speak to you-know-who anymore. Do you all know who you-know-who is? No, they don't. Yes, apparently she doesn't speak to you know who anymore do you all know who you know who is.
Speaker 3No, they don't. Yes, apparently she doesn't speak to blake lively.
Speaker 2Yeah, no more but because that's not really a story include her in her that's just that's.
Speaker 1That's real, real hardcore gossip yeah, that's not a story, no, that's just true, true stuff that's just hardcore gossip.
Speaker 3True stuff that's just hardcore gossip, true facts, okay so I will go to our first story First story In the pop culture.
Speaker 1For the Taylor Swift episode number 13.
Speaker 3And it is about you know, our favorite, one of our favorite. Bravo, housewives. Oh yes, Teresa Giudice, teresa Giudice.
Speaker 1Mm-hmm or Giudice. I still don't know how to say it. Giudice, I think it really is Okay.
Speaker 3So anyway.
Speaker 1Like us being Italy, giudice, giudice.
Speaker 3Well, Teresa Giudice and husband Louis Ruelas owe $3 million in taxes.
Speaker 1It's insane.
Speaker 3Teresa Giudice is in tax trouble again.
Speaker 1Again.
Speaker 3So the Real Housewives of New Jersey star owes $300,000 in tax liens, according to documents obtained by Page Six. Additionally, the husband, Luis Rueles, owes nearly $2.6 million. This total does not include the previous $163,000 tax lien the businessman was hit with in December 2024. Wait what? I didn't know that.
Speaker 1I think that's what the drama was on the Jersey Housewife show and why everybody kept saying he's bad. Because of all of this.
Speaker 3And yeah, the reality stars have been together since 2020, walking down the aisle two years later Now I don't know what to say about this. All I say is why do you want to go back to jail? All I say is why do you want to go back to jail? I just don't understand.
Speaker 1Because how is she in basically the same situation again? Because she married him and didn't have a prenup, which means everything of his baggage is now on her.
Speaker 3Wait, no, they don't say that.
Speaker 1Yeah, she didn't have a prenup.
Speaker 3No, a prenup with louis?
Speaker 1yeah, wait, that doesn't say that here I read that if she would have had a prenup she wouldn't have been responsible. But because they're married, all of his problems now become joint. I've read that oh. Yeah, If she would have had a prenup. But the problem is I don't think she's too swift, the lady you know, I know.
Speaker 1I think that's what the problem is, and it's a shame that nobody's there helping her. But with business things like I think this is, and that's why every her brother, her sister-in-law, like literally, if you watch the show, I don't advise it.
Speaker 3No one can get through to her.
Speaker 1Nobody can yeah, no one can get through to her. Everyone's trying to explain that this is not a good choice for her, but she just goes crazy.
Speaker 3Yeah, and she won't listen.
Speaker 1No, so now she's going to go back to jail.
Speaker 3Well, they're probably going to apply for like a payment plan or something, I'm assuming.
Speaker 1Is there such a? Thing?
Speaker 3I don't know. This article doesn't really tell me a lot except this Like there's nothing else here, it's just telling us the history of how she went to jail in 2015 and how she might return?
Speaker 1how?
Speaker 3she got divorced? Um yeah, he got deported and how theresa apparently had a tax lien um of 17 000 last year and her attorney told page six that she was aware and that she's making significant, timely monthly payments.
Speaker 1For $17,000?.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 1Now we're talking millions. How is she paying monthly millions? I?
Speaker 3don't know.
Speaker 1I think she needs a new accountant. I think that's what the problem is, too.
Speaker 3Something's wrong, I think she needs new people in her circle.
Speaker 1I mean, are these the?
Speaker 3same people as the first time. Yeah, because maybe you need to clean house because someone is.
Speaker 1I think that's what everybody was trying to tell her, and she just won't, wouldn't.
Speaker 3Yeah, and she's like a bad. I think she's a bad judge of character and judge of like people, because very bad. And now we aren't the girls all in college I think there's one one left that's in high school yeah, so like what the heck?
Speaker 1yeah, this is a lot, I feel bad for the girls because it's like their father lives in italy now because he's not allowed back here or does he live in bermuda now or something bahamas, I think that's where they fly to meet for holidays, because it's like, yeah, it's like in the middle yeah, they go and meet up there all the time and spend time together.
Speaker 3But it's crazy, the mother was in jail, the father lives far away and now yeah, I still can't believe that he like when I think back on it like the fact that he got deported is insane- and that was a long time ago. That was not with the yeah, not with like the current or was it no was it? Was it the first Trump administration? I don't know when he was deported, I don't know. Oh, now I'm like actually what's his?
Speaker 1what was his?
Speaker 3name. Wait, figure it out, I'll figure it out. You keep going when was Joe, when was Joe Giudice deported and who was the president then?
Speaker 1um. Come on, belle, get those paws going. Amaheim 2019. Oh so it was. Was deported in March of 2019 after serving 41 months sentence for fraud. So, okay, so that was. Joe Giudice pleaded guilty to mail wire and bankruptcy fraud charges in 2014 and was sentenced to 41 months in prison so this all happened pre 2014 yeah, but then then when he got out, they were like okay, you're done, goodbye they deported him, yeah yeah, but that was in 2018.
Speaker 1an immigration court ruled that he would be deported to his native Italy after he completed his sentence, so 2018 was pre.
Speaker 3No. Who is the president in 2018? Trump.
Speaker 1Oh, it was 2018?. Well, right because he was the president, during the pandemic. I wasn't born, yet you weren't around.
Speaker 3Yeah, he was 2018, it was Trump. Oh, he was 2017 to 2021.
Speaker 1Well, now what? Wow, it's all like a blur, because he does live in the Bahamas. Now that pandemic really like blurs out everything. Oh yeah, I remember because the Gia or one of them, or Melania, they did a house tour. Yeah, the dad, yeah, or it wasn't. Only, it's not a house, it's like a apartment. He permanently, he permanently lives there. He was deported italy to his birthplace of sala consolina, but now he lives in the bahamas.
Speaker 3I guess you're allowed to do that from italy live in the bahamas, I guess, so right I think they'll take anyone at the bahamas as long as you pay, right, right, yeah, I mean, I don't think they're like don't come here, yeah, also, like, how do you live in the Bahamas? Like that's a big change, I feel.
Speaker 1I don't know. It's hot all the time and when it's rainy, it's rainy.
Speaker 3It's basically like residential or like resorts do there like there's no medium, it's just, it's probably just like I don't know, and it's so small, like what does he do?
Speaker 1there. Well it's not small.
Speaker 3There's a bunch of islands, obviously.
Speaker 1But yeah, there's disney world island?
Speaker 3no, but I'm just saying, like I don't know, what does he? What does he do there, does he? I guess he works remotely, remotely, like what. I don't know. What does he do there? I guess he works remotely, remotely, like what does he? I'm so curious, what does he do? I know he's an influencer, he is. He has like a TikTok or an Instagram.
Speaker 1Yeah, he does, so he must be making he works in the construction industry in the Bahamas, overseeing jobs and building homes, and also has a luxury yacht chartering business called Worldwide Charter.
Speaker 3Wow, if y'all didn't see, I was winking there.
Speaker 1She was winking, because what's going on on that charter?
Speaker 2business.
Speaker 1What are you chartering, Joe?
Speaker 3No, stop it. This is all alleged. We are not making any accusations.
Speaker 1Wait, let me tell you.
Speaker 3This is very interesting. He's building things and chartering he's overseeing buildings oh, he's overseeing them.
Speaker 1And construction Overseeing A wink again he okay, so the luxury yacht service provides charter tours in Miami, the Bahamas and Italy.
Speaker 3He's got his toes everywhere dipping huh, he's overseeing it all. Baby Wait, so he can still oversee and do business in the us, but live in the bahamas apparently well, wait, because miami is right, like by the bahamas.
Speaker 1So I guess, if he's not.
Speaker 3He's not crossing himself oh, I guess as long as, yeah, as long as he stays on the ocean or I don't think he goes on the boat, but yeah, as long as he stays on the boat.
Speaker 1Or I don't think he goes on the boat, but yeah, as long as he stays on that side of the ocean.
Speaker 3Yeah, as long as he well, he's just overseeing.
Speaker 1He's not like yeah, he's not driving the boat, he also has been involved in other projects and businesses, including sports picking business.
Speaker 3What's that?
Speaker 1I don't know, it sounds like another winking thing. No wait, what's sports picking business? What's that? Like, I don't know, it sounds like another winking thing no wait, what's sports picking?
Speaker 3I don't even know what that means. Sports. I'm gonna guess right now before I google it. It's when you like pick like no, not crooked. I think it's like when you go and like, pick what horses you want to buy or something to race or something like that.
Speaker 1Oh, okay, Well he's building homes in the Bahamas. Overseeing that and the charter, luxury charter.
Speaker 3Oh, sports picking is just betting. Yeah, it's sports betting.
Speaker 1Oh see, so another. I was right, something else. Wink, wink. You're probably allowed to do that. In the Bahamas they have gambling legal right. Who is the best?
Speaker 3sports picker.
Speaker 1He has a whole business of it Sports picking business.
Speaker 3Wait, it's like Draft Kings and all that stuff.
Speaker 1Yeah, you can bet and gamble.
Speaker 3Oh, okay. Here I was thinking it was like some more detailed thing where it's like you go and like pick.
Speaker 1In the Bahamas that's legal.
Speaker 3Oh, sports picking.
Speaker 1No, I mean gambling, isn't it?
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 1Don't? They have casinos and all.
Speaker 3Yeah, but there's casinos here too, it's just certain areas.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 3Okay, we kind of went down a rabbit hole hole, but we hope that Teresa gets it together. That was like a bear hole we hope that Teresa and Louie figure it out for the kids sake.
Speaker 1I mean, I honestly don't care about Louie, sorry Louie but I hope Teresa figures it out. I never, liked that Louie man.
Speaker 3I never liked Louie either. He was a little sneaky. Yeah.
Speaker 1Never met him, but I just didn't like him. Something about him.
Speaker 3Honestly, every time we've met Teresa, she hasn't been the nicest. No at all. But, we still wish you hopefully. The best Love her daughters, though. They're the best so sweet.
Speaker 1They must take after the best. Love her daughters though they're the best, so sweet. They must take after the dad. They're very nice?
Speaker 3I guess so, but like also, I mean the TV show literally made the dad look like this abusive psychopath, so I don't really know what went on.
Speaker 1But when you see, him with the girls they seem so.
Speaker 3I know they like love him, yeah, so I don't think he's that bad of a guy.
Speaker 1I think it was just the fake-ality show made him a bad guy.
Speaker 3Made him like, really I don't know. He was not nice to Teresa, though, either.
Speaker 1Well, I think Teresa has some issues. She doesn't have a good business brain. She picks bad people, she picks bad company. She doesn't have a good business brain. She picks bad people, she picks bad company. She doesn't do smart things. And now she's back in the even deeper now.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 1It's terrible. Someone needs to help this lady, but she won't take anyone's advice.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 1It's crazy. So as much as we're not a fan of hers we feel bad.
Speaker 3Of course, yes, I mean don't want to see her go to jail again. That's not going to be good.
Speaker 1Again, can you imagine? Well, at least the girls are older, they can take care of themselves, but still, like come on.
Speaker 3Still, you don't need to deal with that again.
Speaker 1No, and now they have no uncle, so traumatic.
Speaker 3Yeah, moving on, all right. Next story Selena's killer, yolanda Saldivar, denied parole 30 years after murdering singer.
Speaker 1Oh my gosh For a second, I thought you were talking about Selena Gomez. I was like wait, Selena, what?
Speaker 3Sorry. The woman convicted of murdering music legend Selena has been denied parole and will continue serving a life sentence for fatality shooting for fatality, fatally shooting the rising young singer at a Texas motel in 1995. Parole board announced Thursday. Yolanda Saldivar, 64, was up for parole for the first time since the killing of the singer, known to fans as Simply Selena. One of the first Mexican-American artists to break into the mainstream music scene, selena shattered barriers for women in Latin music. She was 23 years old and on the verge of crossing over into English language pop superstardom when she was killed. The singer's family and Chris Perez, her widower, expressed gratitude to the Texas Board of Pardon and Paroles. While nothing can bring Selena back, this decision reaffirms that justice continues to stand for the beautiful life that was taken from us and from millions of fans around the world far too soon, they said in a statement posted on social media.
Speaker 1Okay, it's my turn. Yeah, Okay, leave her in jail.
Speaker 3Of course.
Speaker 1I don't think you. I don't care who you killed. You killed someone. You don't get out of jail, you stay there. You don't get out of jail, you stay there. You don't deserve a life out of jail. You killed someone. End of story Period. Goodbye, throw away the key.
Speaker 3Yeah Well, especially the way that this woman did it.
Speaker 1Yeah, I didn't know this Selena person, but I've read about her and I don't care who you kill. You killed someone. You don't get to come out. She didn't do anything to you. It's not. No, not right. Don't let her out 100%. She'll go get someone else.
Speaker 3Yeah, I think she just needs to stay locked away yeah, better watch out, she'll get deported too no, she's not, I think she's.
Speaker 1She's staying in jail well, don't let her out. That's all like. Why would she think she should be even coming out of jail?
Speaker 3I don't, I don't know, I think, because she has claimed like that it was an accident or something.
Speaker 1Oh sure.
Speaker 3I don't know. Actually, that's actually, or maybe she's just super sorry, super sorry, and she thinks that she should deserve. I don't know.
Speaker 1You know, this is what kills me. People do such bad things in here and they go. I'm sorry, no, I'm sorry. That is not acceptable.
Speaker 3Okay, why she thinks she deserves to get out of prison.
Speaker 1Yeah, why lady?
Speaker 3Okay.
Speaker 1You better not face me, I'll tell you, you get back here.
Speaker 3Okay, she says she believes she deserves to be set free. She was the manager of Selena's clothing boutique, selena Etc, and the founder and president of her fan club, and then she shot and killed her. Hold on she killed Selena after Selena's family fired her over allegations she forged checks to embezzle more than three thirty thousand dollars from the stars fan club and boutiques right.
Speaker 1So besides killing, you stole yes why do you want out of jail to do it again?
Speaker 3um, for the next nine hours sat in her truck where she threatened to die by suicide. Blah, blah. Selena was rushed, okay, but tell me why. Why does she think she needs to be out now?
Speaker 1because she's been in there long enough, I guess is her.
Speaker 3Saldivar and her family say that she deserves to be freed. Enough is enough. An unnamed relative of Saldivar's relatives told the New York Post in 2024. She feels like she's a political prisoner at this point. She's ready to get out of jail because she believes she has more than served her time. Yeah, no. Saldivar has maintained that the shooting was accidental and that Selena's superstardom influenced the sentence she received. I was convicted by public opinion even before my trial started. She says.
Speaker 1Hold on the shooting. You shot her accidentally, but you stole everything accidentally too.
Speaker 3So she, yeah, she claims that she did it accidentally. Yeah, but why did she have a gun?
Speaker 1Why would you have a weapon and why would you be stealing and scouting with everything?
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 1That's not an accident. There's a thought process there. Sorry, lady, you gotta stay in jail. I'm sorry.
Speaker 3Yeah, I don't believe that.
Speaker 1Too many things you did wrong that don't add up to an accident.
Speaker 3Oh, gosh Okay.
Speaker 1You know, an accident is missing the potty pad. That's an accident.
Speaker 3Not shooting your boss. Yeah, cold blood. Yeah, yeah, a hundred percent. I do not think that this woman should have parole, and I agree yes with the sentencing. Throw away the key, all right.
Speaker 1Next story about another selena oh, is this the selena that we like? Yes, okay, got it okay. Well, also, I have to say that, like they were doing a lot of press this week, selena and benny blanco- yeah okay I don't understand that match either, but I like her, so whatever I actually kind of like it every time you do.
Speaker 3Yeah, I kind of I don't know.
Speaker 1I think that he treats her well and that's, and that's what she deserves and it's so funny because when they, when they ask him a question, he's always like asks her like is this the right answer? It's very strange. He's very. He seems very nice though.
Speaker 3I don't know. I think he really loves her. I picture.
Speaker 1Selena Gomez with this tall, handsome, good looking kind of guy.
Speaker 3Yeah, but guess what? The tall, handsome, good looking kind of guy is a jerk. And she already did that with Bieber.
Speaker 1He's not tall, good looking.
Speaker 3Justin.
Speaker 1He's a little shrimp.
Speaker 3Oh, he was, yeah, but he's good looking and a heartthrob.
Speaker 1Well, now I know from what I've seen he was cute. He looks a little messy. He was cute. Yeah, now he's looking like A little disheveled.
Speaker 2Woof.
Speaker 1Yeah, mm-hmm, but I think that this is good. I think this is good for her. I hope that they stay together.
Speaker 3Yeah, me too I think he's good for her mental issues.
Speaker 1Yeah, he seems very like you know.
Speaker 3Whatever she needs, he takes care of, which is although I did see one interview where it's like kind of like a red flag. I feel Uh-oh, see, well, it was just one little red flag, but I don't know. He said something like we never fight. He's like we don't fight, like we just we'll just like talk. And if we have, if we're about to have an argument, like, she just says, oh, I need like I need 25 minutes right now, and so he's like, and then I'll leave, and then so that's good, and then I'll come back when she calls me, but that's good. No, I know, but they say sometimes that when people say that that they don't fight, it means like they fight no, listen, I'll tell you what a fight is.
Speaker 1So a week ago, what I'm going to tell you guys.
Speaker 2Oh.
Speaker 1This is a fight. So a week ago, all of a sudden, it was like a Friday night.
Speaker 3It was a Friday night.
Speaker 1Well, tink and I were shaking out of our paws, we heard screaming A guy and a girl screaming, screaming, screaming, screaming at each other. That's a fight.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 1And then she left. So there was a blow up there. But here's the thing, that's a fight and that's the flags.
Speaker 3No, yes, that's a flag.
Speaker 1That's a bad flag.
Speaker 3But sometimes it's like when people say they don't, that means they. You know what I mean.
Speaker 1Oh, you think they just say that, like in interviews, they're like we don't fight at all. I don't think they do, because he seems very-.
Speaker 3But fighting is normal too, but not hardcore fighting. Yeah, I don't like that.
Speaker 1We were scared. Tinka and I were were like we were shaking, we were so scared.
Speaker 3We heard that not like terrifying fighting, but like arguments. That's a normal thing in like any relationship, even friendships everybody disagrees a little, but the but this fighting screaming level is different and I don't think his personality is that, where he's gonna like blow up like oh no, he's like he seems like a jolly, like he's like so funny I he's just like a mellow guy yeah, I don't know, I'm just thinking positive for them, like I think this is gonna be good me too, because she needs it. Yeah.
Speaker 1She needs some sort of.
Speaker 3Mm, hmm.
Speaker 1Yeah, you know I don't see her with our hibernating friend either. She's really hibernating from everyone.
Speaker 3Yeah, wow, ok, so I haven't even gotten to the story yet, but anyway, selena Gomez reveals her one wedding day demand involving Martin Short. Selena Gomez revealed the big role her Only Murders in the Building co-star, martin Short, will have in her upcoming nuptials to Benny Blanco. Marty is due to give a speech. The actress said.
Speaker 1Oh, it'll be a good one.
Speaker 3I told him he must. I feel like Marty would have an epic speech. And then Gomez joked that her fellow co-star, Steve Martin, would probably pull out his banjo and show off his musical skills.
Speaker 1Yes, that's, yes, that is him.
Speaker 3Yes.
Speaker 1That would be the best wedding. I wish we can get invited. Okay, I know it could, possibly because someone knows someone who knows us and they're like come on, bring those pups over. But that would be so much fun.
Speaker 3Oh my gosh, that wedding is going to be wild. The queen will be there.
Speaker 1Yeah, see, here's the thing. I would rather see the Selena-Benny wedding than the Queen and Harry face the Taylor-Travis wedding.
Speaker 3Mm-hmm, oh my God, no, you wouldn't.
Speaker 1I don't know why. I'd rather be at their wedding.
Speaker 3I just feel like I like Well, it's like if we get to go to the Selena-Benny wedding, then we also get to be around the Queen and Travis.
Speaker 2It's like a win-win.
Speaker 1It's a win-win.
Speaker 3And you get Martin Short and Steve Martin and all these epic people.
Speaker 1And it's like a win-win-win-win-win.
Speaker 3Probably Meryl Streep oh yeah, another win. Yeah, where I don't think Meryl Streep is going to Taylor Swift's wedding.
Speaker 1No, taylor will have her usual. The Hames sisters and you know all the people she loves the usuals.
Speaker 3Yeah, yeah, okay, yeah, I get it, I get it you understand. Yeah.
Speaker 1Like, the Selena wedding is going to be the wedding.
Speaker 3Mm-hmm.
Speaker 1Yeah 100%. Yeah, and they'll do fun because they'll have dancing and fun. And yeah, and who can we? You know Martin Short and Steve Martin. Like, come on, yeah, that will be epic.
Speaker 3Okay, so now a little news from the sky.
Speaker 2Oh.
Speaker 3Yeah, a United Airlines flight from Los Angeles to Shanghai was forced to turn around midair Saturday after a pilot realized he had forgotten his passport yeah.
Speaker 1Delaying passengers by several hours yeah, rude.
Speaker 3Flight 198 carrying 257 passengers and 13 crew members on board departed Los Angeles around 1 47 pm local time. About two hours into the journey, the aircraft diverted to San Francisco, where it landed just around 5 pm. United Airlines confirmed to USA Today that the pilot did not have their passport on board. The airline said it arranged for a new crew to take the passengers to their destination. That evening. Customers were provided with meal vouchers and compensation. The new flight left San Francisco around 8.30 pm and landed in Shanghai approximately six hours behind schedule.
Speaker 1So I saw that and I was like okay, I saw it too and I was like oh no, if Belle was on this plane, Belle would have a freak out. I would flip out, because what pilot forgets his passport? So that means to me you should not be flying this plane if you're that forgetful. And here's the other thing I don't believe it.
Speaker 3Oh, we're taking a little twisty turny.
Speaker 1We're turning around the corner here, because apparently there's stuff that goes on every day, with millions of flights that we are not privy to. Obviously Some now we're learning more, because I don't know why all of a sudden we're learning things, but usually everything's like hush, hush, hush. I think something else went on. Because you're a pilot, you're very on top of things if you're a pilot.
Speaker 3But there is Yang Shuhan. Yang Shuhan, stop it. A passenger traveling home to China from a business trip heard the pilot's frustrated voice over the intercom, admitting he forgot his passport.
Speaker 1Was the guy paid by United Airlines Stop it Now.
Speaker 3We're getting into conspiracy theories. He got extra meal coupons. We're getting into conspiracy theories.
Speaker 1So if he really forgot his passport, he shouldn't be the pilot on the flight, because that is not something you want is a forgetful person flying your plane. What if you forget what button to push? Oh, let's turn around, I forgot to push the right button, come on.
Speaker 3I know it's a little sketchy.
Speaker 1You have to say, it leaves room for a question.
Speaker 3Okay, I agree, it leaves room for a question 100%. And if it's true.
Speaker 1If it's true, I do not want to get on that flight with him.
Speaker 3Yeah, who is this pilot? Yeah, do they tell you who your pilot is when you book flights?
Speaker 1No, but okay, Maybe they should start. Well, here's the thing I saw.
Speaker 3Because they'll be like wait. Are there reviews on pilots? Probably.
Speaker 1Yeah, there probably are, but yeah, because when they get on they're like hello, this is your Captain John speaking. We're wishing you a pleasant flight today, and there should be in the air 5,000 hours.
Speaker 3No, but when you book a Broadway show, you know who's performing. When you book an opera, you know who's performing. Oh, you mean like pre-getting on the plane when you book your flight, can't?
Speaker 1you see who your pilot is? I don't think so, unless you work for the airlines.
Speaker 3Yeah, that's what I'm saying, but I want to tell you Do you think that they should do that?
Speaker 1No.
Speaker 3Because what if one pilot's more popular than the other? No, because. Because what if one pilot's more popular than the other?
Speaker 1Yeah, then nobody will fly on the other plane.
Speaker 3I know.
Speaker 1Yeah, and what if we look up too much backstory? Nobody will ever get on any flight maybe.
Speaker 3True.
Speaker 1Yes, but I heard this Tink. Now listen to me, follow me here, okay. So usually you know, we go to all these travel destination partnerships, which are fabulous. We love everybody and we have so much fun. Love you guys, love everyone. So we're always like up and out of the plane first, right, well, yes, okay, what?
Speaker 3Because you.
Speaker 1Okay, go ahead.
Speaker 3Belle cannot deal with waiting, I just get so excited to get to our destination.
Speaker 1I want to meet everyone. I'm sorry, that's how it is.
Speaker 3Belle's a wild one, Insists on hopping. Like you, are the person that flies up as soon as it hits the ground. Belle is flying like high, like standing ready to get the bags from the overhead bin.
Speaker 1No, I'm sorry. Human lifts me up because I can't reach on my own. Okay, yeah, but I'm just saying yeah, that's right, because I tell human, I want up and out, because I want to get to our destination and I want to start the work on the continent. It doesn't matter.
Speaker 3You could be in the last row in the back and they're jumping up thinking that there's somewhere to go.
Speaker 1Yes, but can I tell you what I read?
Speaker 3Yes, go ahead.
Speaker 1Okay. So here's the thing If you stay on the plane to be the last person off, you can then go into the cockpit and take photos. I'm serious. You can also ask the pilot for their trading cards, and you can ask the mean steward people, or whatever they want to be called, for a pin. That's in wings and they're supposed to give it all to you. Okay, do you want to try?
Speaker 3that. So now Belle won't be hopping up as soon as the plane hits the ground.
Speaker 1I want to do that. Well, maybe we should do that the next flight Okay so the next flight we take we have to tell the hotel we're going to be a little late.
Speaker 3We're never a little like it's fine.
Speaker 1No, but if we do this we will be a little late. But I read we can do that. What do you think?
Speaker 3I think that would be fun.
Speaker 1Has anyone listening ever done that?
Speaker 3I want to get my paws on a cockpit.
Speaker 1Yeah, we could sit in the cockpit apparently.
Speaker 3Take some photos. Yeah, maybe I'll bring my pilot cap.
Speaker 1Exactly this is what I'm saying. I've read this Tink. I would like to try it and you know what? I want to see them say no to us. Because I read this and I should find that article, because if they say no to us, I'm going to be like yo, you can't say no. Here it is. It says you do this and they give us wings.
Speaker 3Nice A pin.
Speaker 1And we can wear it to the next hotel partnership.
Speaker 3It's definitely more like your kind of thing, Belle, but I'm down for the photos.
Speaker 1Yeah, I think it'll be great fun and we can even take a picture with the pilot. They said Nice. Yeah, okay, maybe the pilot will hold us in attention.
Speaker 3If he doesn't forget his passport.
Speaker 1Yeah, how do you fly to Shanghai and forget a passport? I'm sorry, something's wrong there. There's a little something. Maybe he was having a bad day, but I don't want him flying my plane because you can push the wrong buttons, that's all yeah, all right, all right.
Speaker 3Well, I think that's the end of pop culture. We really got into it.
Speaker 1Yeah, I did.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Pup Culture
Speaker 1I liked it. I don't know why I just had a lot to talk about today. Yeah, always. Yeah, I know. Welcome to the world of Belle.
Speaker 3It's Belle's world and you're just in it. Now it's time to hit up the pup culture.
Speaker 1Yeah, which honestly is not that exciting today, but there's a couple of fun stories.
Speaker 3All right.
Speaker 1All right Ready Tink, always All right Ready for this, I guess let's go. New York dog who disappeared as a puppy finds his way back to the owner 11 years later. Now he's not a puppy anymore. A woman in New York was reunited with her beloved pet 11 years after the dog vanished. Over a decade ago, melanie Epperson's sweet puppy, snuggles, ran off while the pet parent was helping her grandson move into a new home. Emerson told the outlet that she was worried about Snuggles at the time of the pup's disappearance, especially when winter rolled around, because Snuggles doesn't like the cold. After the light brown pup failed to appear after several months away from home, the dog owner eventually gave up hope. So Epperson was shocked when in March she heard from the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter about the long-gone dog. Kbw-tv reported that someone had dropped Snuggles off at the shelter.
Speaker 1Okay information of Chantel Stroud, who is Epperson's daughter. The City of Buffalo Animal Shelter called Chantel Stroud to share that Snuggles had been found and she passed the good news to her mom. When I got that call at first I thought my daughter was joking. Epperson said I thought she was playing around. She said when they asked if I knew Snuggles, I said yeah, that was a long time ago. They then asked if I knew Melanie and I said that's my mom. The phone calls from the shelter led a long awaited reunion between Epperson and the dog. Epperson is looking forward to the year she has left with her furry friend. I just never thought I would see him again. She said I googled it and he can live up to 18 years old. So I have another four to five good years to snuggle. Snuggles, isn't that nice.
Speaker 3That's really sweet.
Speaker 1Now I want to know from snuggles where he's been for 11 and a half years. Guys, do you hear that? Do you hear that? Oh my God. So remember, we used to tell you about this dog, dewey the annoying neighbor. Well, I think Dewey's on his last. He just got told to get out Dewey's in trouble. Guys, can you hear it?
Speaker 2I mean, we have our studio and we hear Dewey's in trouble.
Speaker 1I don't know if you hear it or not, but some of you have asked what happened to the annoying neighbor Dewey. Well, he might not be there anymore after today. That's too much, too much, all right. So what do you think of that story? Tink About Snuggles.
Speaker 3Great Love you Snuggles.
Speaker 1That's it so glad you're, Boy. Tinks is one of words, isn't she?
Speaker 3I'm not one of words, because I just got traumatized by the Dewey scream.
Speaker 1But you're not usually one of words when it comes to pop culture. You just listen to the stories.
Speaker 3I'm glad that Snuggles is back.
Speaker 1Me too. It's a very nice story. He looks okay. I guess the shelter cleaned him up. I don't know where he's been. I want to know where he's been. He it's okay. I guess the shelter cleaned him up. I don't know where he's been. I want to know where he's been. He could have gone to Shanghai on that plane, who knows? Yeah, yeah, all right. Next story Shanghai.
Speaker 3Snuggles went to Shanghai and forgot his passport.
Speaker 1Yeah, forgot his passport and came back.
Speaker 3New York police find Bitey lost dog and publicly ask owners to come get him.
Speaker 1Like now Bidey. Yes, ready, this is him Look.
Speaker 3Yes, I see.
Speaker 1A police department in New York State found itself jokingly begging for a surly lost dog's owners to collect their pet, who they all nicknamed Bidey McBiderton. Hilarious Facebook post shared on March 22nd, the Ossining Police Department, located 30 miles north of New York City, shared a photo of Bitey, a small white dog, giving a snarl to the camera and information about how the owner can find them. And information about how the owner can find them. Bitey McBiter Tin was found wandering on Sarah Street of North Malcolm Street. The department wrote. Our officers are unsure if Bitey is male or female and aren't keen on checking. If you recognize this super friendly pup in quotes, tell their owners to come get him like now, please, and thank you, oh my gosh.
Speaker 1So a long story short. The mean bitey mcbiting has been returned to his owners by the police and they're very happy to get him out of their hands. He was mean to everybody, apparently, oh my gosh. And everybody's writing like, yeah, it's always the ones with the stained eyes and all these mean comments.
Speaker 2Bitey.
Speaker 1Bitey McBiderton. The police called him.
Speaker 3Bitey McBiderton, they're like please get him now.
Speaker 1Okay, my last story. This kind of goes with sort of what I said talked about last week Neglected poodle in rough shape loses 10 pounds of matted fur during makeover and becomes a new dog. So remember last week there was like 50 pounds because they found all these.
Speaker 1Well, here's another one. Crawfish the poodle is enjoying his new chapter. The three-year-old dog arrived at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah with a totally different look than the one he's sporting today. Crawfish was one of the dogs rescued from an overcrowded home and brought to Best Friends for treatment and adoption. He was in bad shape. They said they needed a lot of grooming, followed by medical attention. So here is first stage of treatment. Crawfish underwent an intense makeover. Best Friends employees shaved off his matted coat and several hours later to free the dog of 10 pounds of filthy hair. Look this what he looks like now. You wouldn't know it. According to the sanctuary, the change after the makeover was immediate and stunning and allowed him to finally show off the cute face he buried in all that mess. His, his personality shined through these old coat. The poodle become curious, social, trusting now and he's up for adoption and ready. But the difference that was before Tink, wow. You don't even know what that was no, you don't at all.
Speaker 1And here he is, oh, beautiful. So another happy ending to a neglected hairy pup. And that's it for Taylor's episode 13 of Pup Culture.
Speaker 3Of Pup Culture. Yeah Well, that was some great pup culture, yeah, thanks.
Speaker 1And we're wrapping it up.
Speaker 3Is that it?
Speaker 1Happy end of March everyone. It's kind of strange right.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 1Wow. But April will bring not just showers, but good things to everyone.
