Good evening. I'd like to welcome to you to the Word of God by the branch of the Lord. Let's go to the Lord in prayer at this time. Precious Father, God, we thank you, God, for another day of opportunity to go into your word. As we look into this lesson this night, God, please open our eyes and our ears of understanding, enlighten us by thy spirit, God, according to thy will, Lord. And we will ask all these things humbly in our Son's holy name. Amen and amen. Psalm sixty six is what we're looking at this evening. Psalm sixty six. So we'll go right into uh reading this. And uh, you know, as always, what we do is uh we will read it through and then we will go back through and search the scriptures concerning uh some of the things written therein so that we get a full understanding. So Psalm 66, we'll start with scripture uh well with the heading, and then we'll go into scripture one. To the chief musician a song or psalm. Make a joyful noise unto God all ye lands, sink forth the honor of his name, make his praise glorious. Say unto God how terrible art thou in thy works. Through thy through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee. All the earth shall worship thee and shall sing unto thee, they shall sing to thy name, Salah. Come and see the works of God. I love that. Come and see the works of God. He is terrible in his doing toward the children of men. He turned the sea into dry land, they went through the flood on foot. There did we rejoice in him. He ruleth by his power forever, his eyes behold the nations, let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Salah. O bless our God ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard, which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved. For thou, O God, hast proved us, thou hast tried us as silver is tried. Thou brought us into the net, thou laced affliction upon our loins. Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads, we went through fire and through water, but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place. I will go into thy house with burnt offerings, I will pay thee my vows, which my lips have uttered, and my mouth have spoken when I was in trouble. I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlands with the incense of rams, I will offer bullocks with goats, Salah. Come in here, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul. I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue. If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me. But verily God hath heard me, he hath attended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me. Praise the Lord. Now uh remember in first Corinthians fifteen forty six it brings out how be it that which is first is not spiritual, but that which is natural and then that which is spiritual. So uh what we're looking at is uh going into the words of God and trying to learn uh what it is that God is saying about the things that he has written. So remember to the true uh chief musician, excuse me, in the heading, that is Jedathan, a song or psalm, and we looked uh last week or the week before at the difference in a psalm and a song. One is the letter, one is holy, one is sacred. Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands. So God doesn't leave out anyone here in scripture one. He tells all ye lands, make a joyful noise. Uh and this is the administration of David to the chief musician, but we know it was not one man that wrote the book of Psalm, it was an administration. Uh don't take my word for it, you can go in and search that out. Make a joyful noise unto God all ye lands. Sing forth the honor of his name. So it tells you there what that joyful noise is. Sing forth the honor of his name, make his praise glorious. Say unto God, how terrible art thou in thy works. Through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee. They will see and know that he is God, and that there is none else. All the earth shall worship thee and shall sing unto thee, they shall sing to thy name, Salah. Uh there's also another scripture that uh the Lord brings to mind, is where God says, Now they will reverence my son. Scripture 5, come and see the works of God. Come and see. He is terrible in his doing toward the children of men. Now remember that word terrible uh means uh great, greatness, might. Uh we talked about that too. Uh I'm just making a note here uh on my paper, if you're watching Facebook Live. Uh he is terrible. Uh, you know, we we use that word as uh in an instance, for example, uh that tasted terrible. Uh but terrible means great and might. So he is great, uh great and mighty uh in his doing toward the children of men. But the first part of that scripture is what we want to look at here. Come and see the works of God. So you say, well, how do we see the works of God? Well, you have to go into his word. Uh, and furthermore, you have to receive the spirit of truth because you cannot see without the spirit of truth. You only see the natural part of things. But God is a spirit, they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. So we want you to see the spiritual. God wants you to see what he says by what he wrote. Now listen at uh this is Saint John chapter one. I'm gonna read scriptures thirty-nine and forty-six. He saith unto them, Come and see. Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt. Now remember God is no respecter of persons. They came and saw where he dwelt and abode with him that day, for it was about the tenth hour. And Nathaniel said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? And Philip saith unto him, Come and see. So anytime you may have a question about God's word, I want you to hear those words in your hearing, come and see. If you have a question, you don't understand something, let God tell you come and see. Come and see the works of God. Go into the scriptures because that's what the book of life is all about, uh a book of action, a book of works. Psalm sixty six, scripture six. He turned the sea into dry land, they went through the flood on foot. There did we rejoice in him. Now the sea sea uh in Genesis one scripture ten, and God called the dry land earth, and the gathering together of the waters, with an S waters, called He seas, and God saw that it was good. Now listen, he turned the sea into dry land. They went through the flood on foot. So now the gathering together of the waters called he seas, and they went through uh the flood on foot. Now listen what the scripture says the waters are. Now this is what God wrote. This is not what I'm saying, this is what God has written in Revelation 17, 15, and then we're gonna look at scripture five. And he saith unto me, the waters, once again the waters with an S, which thou sawest where the whore sitteth are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues. So you see what the people are, or the waters. The waters are peoples and multitudes, nations and tongues. And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery Babylon the Great, the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth. So it tells you the waters which thou sawest where the whore sitteth, are which means where the whore is established, are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues. So now the gathering together of the waters, the peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues, called he sees, S-E-A-S. Now listen about the flood, because we know naturally a flood is like a big amount of water. Uh it's it's uh it's so much amount in water, uh um, of a great amount, I should say, that it covers a flood comes in and it covers something. Uh when you look at a natural flood, uh streets flood sometimes during thunderstorms, uh, lakes will swell up and flood over. So the waters being peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues. Uh it says in uh 2 Samuel 22, 5, when the waves of death come past me, what are the waves of death? The floods of ungodly men. See, it tells you right here in the scripture what God is saying. If we will open our eyes and take time and quit trying to look outside of God's word uh and go in and look and see what God says about things. Listen, when the waves of death come past me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid. So it tells you what the waves of death remember Romans 8 verse uh scripture 6, for to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Psalm 184, the sorrows of death. So you have the waves of death, and then you have the sorrows of death come past me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid. Psalm thirty-two six for this shall everyone that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found. Surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him. So it tells you what the floods are, they're great waters, and we know that the waters are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues according to Revelation seventeen, fifteen. Now back in Psalm sixty six, Scripture seven, He ruleth by His power forever. His eyes behold the nations, let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Salah. So power, uh we receive power after the Holy Ghost has come upon us, uh according to Acts one, Scripture eight. But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you, and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and in Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Alright. So that's when we receive power. Men think they have power, but they don't have power. God, all power belongs to God. So he ruleth by his power forever. His eyes behold the nations, let not the rebellious exalt themselves. He sent his son to take sin out of the world. Back in Psalm 66, Scripture 8, O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard. How do we bless God? You obey his voice. Which holdeth our soul in life and suffereth not our feet to be moved. What is our feet? Ephesians six, fifteen, and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Let not our feet be moved. We'll stand on the word of God. Psalm one three and he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that bringeth forth his fruit in his season, his leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. You can also read in Revelation that the trees uh the leaves of the trees was for the healing of the nation. So the leaves are the healing of the nations. His leaf also shall not wither. He will be in health and prosper. Scripture ten, back in Psalm 66. For thou, O God, hast proved us. Thou hast tried us as silver is tried. Now uh this is one thing we really want to look at tonight. There is so much information in this chapter in all of God's uh books. But how is silver tried? Uh some may know how silver is tried and some may not. We know silver is of value, it has great value. So how is it tried? So uh looking at the natural first. Silver is tried, tested or refined, that's what tried means, by separating it from impurities using heat, which means uh great heat like smelting or cupolation, or chemical processes to achieve high purity. Sometimes they use acid, often characterized by melting it in a furnace where impurities float to the top as dross, which means waste. And gold is uh tried the same way. So they put it in uh pots, um and the heat has to be extreme so that the slag uh or the dross can come to the top and that is skimmed off. And this keeps uh happening, taking place until nothing else comes to the top. So then you have uh pure gold or pure silver. Now uh I want us to think about this as God tries us. Uh you may say, Well, I'm not gold and I'm not silver, but if you go in and search out uh who the gold of God is and who the silver of God is, it will change your mind on that statement. Listen at Psalm twelve, six. The words of the Lord are pure words, as silver tried in a furnace of earth purified seven times. Proverbs seventeen three. The finding pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, but the Lord tryeth the hearts. Isaiah thirty one nine and he shall pass over to his stronghold for fear, and his princes shall be afraid of the insign, saith the Lord, whose fire is in Zion and his furnace in Jerusalem. Now I didn't write this in the notes earlier, but I'm gonna write it there now. And if you would like a copy of tonight's lesson, uh all you have to do is send us an email to Jesus the Christ Newsletter at Yahoo.com, or if we are friends on Facebook, you can send me a private message and I will get those to you. It's free. Hold your place there. Let's look at Zion in Jerusalem uh and let's be reminded. Uh I'm hoping that you know this uh verse by heart now in Isaiah 2, verse 3. And I'm gonna read uh the scripture there, I meant Isaiah scripture, verse 3. Uh I'm gonna read that uh scripture there in Psalm before I read Isaiah. So Psalm 66, I mean uh excuse me, Isaiah 31, 9. And he shall pass over to his stronghold for fear, and his princes shall be afraid for the insign, saith the Lord, whose fire is in Zion and his furnace in Jerusalem. Now uh another scripture we need to write down here is Hebrews 12 29, because it will tell you that our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews 12 29, our God is a consuming fire. Now listen to Isaiah 2 3. And it shall come to pass in the last days that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow unto it. This is scripture three, and many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob. We will look at the scripture a little bit further on also. It says, And he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the law and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. Now remember here uh in Isaiah 31, 9, it says, Whose fire is in Zion, and his word is that consuming fire. So it tells you what goes out of Zion and his furnace in Jerusalem. Now back in uh let's look at, we're still in Psalm 68, uh looking at some things here uh out of Scripture 10 about the silver and how it's tried. Uh Malachi 3, 3, and he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he shall purify, here comes your silver and gold, please listen. Uh and this will take your mind away from the jingly change in your pocket to people. And he shall purify the sons of Levi, the Levitical priesthood, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness. You can also find in another place about the fine uh uh sons of Zion being that fine gold. Now back in uh Psalm 68, Scripture 11, thou broughtest us into the net, thou laid'st affliction upon our loins, thou hast caused men to ride over our heads, we went through fire and through water, but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place. Now you can also, we know God's word is a consuming fire, but you can also look at that fiery furnace, uh, and it will tell you that that's Egypt. And uh this is what's taking place here. Uh, we're looking at the children of Israel coming out of Egypt, out of that uh fiery furnace. Uh so they went through the fire and through water. Now remember about the waters there, but thou brought us out to a wealthy place. So, what is a wealthy place? Because our natural mind, when we think of wealth, we think of mansions or castles and uh just green land and uh uh just an abundance of everything natural. But listen, and and and it can be now uh God's chosen people, Israel, will be the most prosperous nation. But it's not all about that natural stuff or that natural wealth, brothers and sisters. Listen, wealthy place. Let's let's let's learn what a wealthy place in God is. Exodus 3, 8. And I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land, that land, the land of the Egyptians, unto a good and a large, or excuse me, unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey, desire ye the sincere milk of the word. And if you look at honey, honey is good for the bones, it's good for health, it's good for strength. Unto the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites. Now Jeremiah 11, 5 reads, That I may perform the oath which I have sworn unto your fathers to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day. See, we're not reading a history book that does not apply to us. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever. And God also said, I am God, I change not, who's he's also the word of God. He said, Therefore, you sons of Jacob are not consumed. So God's word is still alive this day, and it needs to be applied to our life. Uh, that's what's wrong with the land. People want to know why all the uh craziness is going off out there in the land and why there's so many things going wrong. Well, because people have forsaken their first love. They have leaned to their own understanding, they have looked unto false prophets, they have looked unto the wrong books, and what else do you expect when you don't follow God who was only for us for our good? What else do you expect to take place? Now he sent his word, his word. Say that to yourself. His word, the word of God, the holy words written by holy men, because God is holy. He sent his holy word unto people to heal them and deliver them from their destructions. But the people turn away from that. They say, Away with him. What do you think they were saying to Jesus Christ, whose name is called the Word of God in the day when they crucified our Lord and Savior? Away with him, away with his word. We don't want to hear that. We want to do our own thing. We got our own books, we got our own teachers, we got our own colleges. Nothing has changed with that, other than our Lord and Savior is risen again. And he is not a God that is far off, he's very natural. The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth is written in the scripture. So it says, Then answered I and said, So be it, O Lord. So the word of God is with us, and we have it this day. Now, Jesus and his name is called the Word of God. I I can't say that enough because it's um so that we can understand his name is called the Word of God. So why do we say away with him?
SPEAKER_00I can't read the book of the law of the Lord where God said this book.
SPEAKER_01We need to understand how the Lord is beckoning the people to return back to their first love. And when we humble ourselves and we obey his voice, then the land will be healed. But until we do that, it's not going to be healed because how can God help us if we don't listen to him? How can God teach us anything if we say away with him and look into the books of men? Psalm 66, Scripture 13. We got all these books out in the world, and people bring these books into the house of God, and they say, Hey, let's learn this book. Why? Do you know all that is written in the King James Version Bible? Do you know everything that's written in that book and what it means spiritually? I think not, because if you did, you would not bring those ungodly books into the house of God and teach it to God's little lambs. Now for this thing you will answer to God. God is displeased with this, whosoever you may be, and if you don't want to hear this, then shut off the podcast tonight. But you will hear and know that God is in the midst this night, and he is begging his people and telling his people, Come unto me, I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Do not put your trust in men, do not put your trust in the books of man who lie to you and turn you away from me.
SPEAKER_00He has told us to come unto him. When are we gonna listen? Well, that don't apply to me, you may say.
SPEAKER_01I'm only here for my time and that'll be it, and I won't know nothing after that. Well then you have the mind of Cain, who said he was not his brother's keeper. What about the children that should be born? If you look out in the land this day in your season and you see that things are not right, why would you want the children coming after you? Because people will always be coming. Why would you want them to go through things worse than what you've gone through? And you say, Well, that's not my problem. Well, that's the mind of Cain. But if you truly love God and you love his people, you're gonna do something about it. You're not gonna be just a hearer of God's word, you're gonna obey his voice and you're gonna do that which the Lord thy God has spoken unto thee this night. Scripture 13. I will go into thy house with burnt offerings. I will pay thee my vows. So what is God's house? Remember 1 Timothy 3 15? But if I tarry long that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, what is the house of God? Which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. If you are a building with a big, beautiful steeple on top, but you're preaching your own doctrine and your own commandments, then it's not the house of God. Understand that. Because Jesus said the Son of Man have nowhere to lay his head. When you begin teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ by the Holy Ghost, the Son of Man has found somewhere in that place to lay his head. Understand what God is telling us. And God is getting more bold with his messages to his people because he's trying to shake the people. Excuse me, I'm getting over Chesco. He's trying to shake the people to let the people know that he set a way for things to be done. And that's the only way it needs to be done. The other thing we're looking at here in Scripture 13 is the burnt offerings. Uh, back in the day, people wanted to teach uh the carnal minded teachings. Well, we don't burn oxen and sheep and goats anymore. But I want you to understand something. The scripture reads that we are the sheep of his pasture. Do we burn ourselves? No. Remember back in Hebrews 12.29, we already read it uh this night that God's word is a consuming fire and it's going to burn off all flesh, works of the flesh, adultery, uncleanness, lasciviousness, all those things you read about uh there in uh Galatians 5, that that consuming word of God is going to consume the flesh so that there's gonna be nothing left but the fruits of the spirit. All right? Remember, a refiner of uh uh and a purifier of silver and gold. That's what God is. He said that his house should be a house of prayer for all nations. And see, we think that the only place it brings out about uh his house being a den of they've made his house a den of these is in the New Testament. No. No. Uh when you uh you can go into Jeremiah, that's another place uh called a den of robbers. Look up den of robbers there in the concordance. Psalm 66, scripture 14, which my leap lips have uttered. So let's go back to 13. I will go into thy house with burnt offerings, and will be no flesh on me. I will pay thee my vows. Remember, we looked at the word vows, and the vows that you make unto God, you will keep them, which my lips have uttered, and my mouth have spoken when I was in trouble. Think about the times you may have gone through something very rough and you told the Lord, Lord, and it's not that you're trying to strike a deal with God, but it's desperation, crying out to the only one you know can help you, uh, when you say things like, Lord, if you if you get me out of this, God, I will serve you. Psalm 66, Scripture 15, I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlands with the incense of rams. I will offer bullocks with goats. Now remember, uh uh we are the sheep of his pasture. So sheep is a general term for all sheep. So, but in in sheep, in other words, chickens is a general term for all chickens, which includes the rooster and hen. Uh, like with uh uh sheep, you've got the little uh the lambs, you've got the you, which is the mother, you've got the rams, which is the the male, all right. These are levels of growth. So that's natural. So I want us to understand God is the spirit. They that worship him must worship him in spirit and a truth. So he's not talking about natural rams and goats and lambs, he's talking about levels of growth and his sheep. All right. Now listen uh right here. Don't take my word for it, please. You go in and search it out. I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlands with the incense of rams. You can find the incense is the pure prayers of the saints. That's in Revelation. Incense. Look that up. Write that down. I hope you bring your notebook with you. Uh, I always try to encourage you to bring your Bible in your notebook, but incense is the prayers. Frankincense are the pure prayers. It says, with the incense of rams, all right, they're not little sheep anymore, but they've grown up into rams. Rams have horns and they're strong. They're strong teachers. I will offer bullocks with goats, salai. So look those things up, all right? That's a good lesson. Uh uh I I don't want to say you've got homework, but um, because God might have you working on something. But if you want to know what these things mean, write them down and this week take this time to look it up. Uh as the Lord brought out earlier in the scriptures, come and see. Now, Psalm 66, 16. Come and hear. So we talked about come and see. Now we're looking at come and hear. All ye that fear God, and I will declare what he have done for my soul. Who I love that scripture. Because when people listen, when God sends you forth to teach um the glad tidings, you know, it's like you want to tell people all the good that God has done for you. But all I can think to say is come and see. He, the same thing he's done for me, uh, you may have different situations or what have you in your in your life, but uh you will never know the goodness of God if you don't come and see. Come and see, come and hear. Psalm 66, 17. I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled, which means lifted up with my tongue. If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me. Now, this is uh another uh very important uh message tonight in this lesson. There are several we will review before we pray tonight. Uh, but the prayer, uh the prayer of people. Well, God, I sure wish you would give me that job. And then they don't acknowledge God. Uh, they don't give any kind of forethought to God, they don't obey God, they don't do the will of God, but they want God to be their magic genie and give them whatever they wish for. That is not how it works, all right? God is not a genie. God is not a uh wish box uh where and he's not a microwave where you can put in your request and push some buttons and out pops your result. All right? God is God Almighty. Be careful before you utter anything under God Almighty. We are flesh upon earth, he is God in heaven. So if I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me. Well, God hears the prayer of everybody. No, he does not. Listen at the scripture, and we're gonna read a few others to confirm that. Listen, God does not hear the prayer of everybody because everybody does not hear the voice of God. Not everybody has chosen to hear the voice of God because many have chosen to lean to their own understanding. If I regard iniquity which is sin in my heart, the Lord will not hear me. So then where's your hope? If you know that you're supposed to be doing what God has told you to do in reading and searching and praying and trying to do the best you can, then God will hear you if you do those things. But if you know that you're not doing those things, and you should be, but then you pray to God, but then you wonder, well, why ain't God hearing my prayer? Why ain't God answering my prayer? Well, are you answering his? Are you lit not his prayer, but are you answering his uh commands? Are you obeying his voice? Are you listening to how he's instructing you? All right. But verily God hath heard me. He hath attended to the voice of my prayer. James 5, 16. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another that you may be healed. The effectual, that means a working prayer now. Effectual means you are working. The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. What is a righteous man? A right standing with God. That means you are in right standing with God. God is giving you instruction and you're obeying his voice. Now, uh don't mistake this part of, well, uh you're a babe and you're learning and you're growing. So there's going to be a lot of things you're going to mess up in until the Lord corrects you. Uh don't say or be in fear that God won't hear your prayer. But the thing about it is, is to know to do good and do it not to sin. So if God has shown you something and you are just willingly rebelling against doing it, and that's what it is, is rebellion. When you say within yourself, well, I know I should be reading, but I ain't going to. I don't like to read. How can God help you? He sent his word and healed them. So, how can God heal you? How can God teach you anything? How can your faith be increased? Think about these things. So, a righteous man right standing with God, you're obeying the voice of God, you're following the instructions to the best of your ability. Doesn't mean you know it all. Uh uh, you will never know it all. All right. You may know uh quite a bit, and God may give you a lot of the knowledge, wisdom, and understanding as you seek for it. I know he will, but you will never know it all. Excuse me. Psalm 17 1, a prayer of David. Hear the right, O Lord, the righteous, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer that goeth not out of feigned lips. That means profane. Psalm 102 17. He will regard regard, let me start over, he will regard the prayer of the destitute and not despise their prayer. Destitute, the poor, the poor in spirit. Proverbs fifteen, eight and twenty-nine. The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, but the prayer of the upright, the righteous, is his delight. The Lord is far from the wicked, but he heareth the prayer of the righteous. Now listen at James five, fifteen, and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up, and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. So are there any prayers that God does not hear?
SPEAKER_00Let's go to Jeremiah 7. Jeremiah 7. Isaiah Jeremiah. We're gonna look at two places here in Jeremiah.
SPEAKER_01Are there any prayers that God does not hear? Because I have heard in the land, no, God hears every prayer. But let's see what thus saith the Lord. Uh Jeremiah 23, 35 will bring out what hath the Lord answered and what hath the Lord spoken. And I love it. We are going to read Jeremiah 7, uh uh ver uh scriptures 1 through 16. So I want you to listen, okay? The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord saying, Stand in the gate of the Lord's house and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the Lord, all ye of Judah. Remember, Judah is the lawgivers of God, as is written in Psalm 60, verse 7, that enter in at these gates to worship the Lord. Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place. Trust ye not in lying words, saying the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord are these. For if ye thruly amend your ways and your doings, if ye thruly execute judgment between a man and his neighbor, if ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt, then will I cause you to dwell in this place in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever. Now remember Psalm fifteen and twenty-four we read uh just a couple weeks ago. Um also uh and this and that's talking about who shall stand in the house of the Lord. Now also um looking at verse uh scripture, scripture five, uh, where it's talking about throughly execute, thruly amend your ways and thruly execute judgment. 2 Timothy 3, 16 and 17 will tell you, uh, and it tells us that all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for correction, for reproof, uh, for instruction, that the man of God may be thruly furnished uh unto all good works. All right, perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. That was 2 Timothy 3, 16 and 17. Uh Scripture eight, behold ye trust in lying words me. Behold ye trust in lying words that cannot profit. Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely and burn incense unto Baal, which is Babylon, and walk after other gods whom ye know not, and come and stand before me in this house. Now remember the house of God, uh the pillar and ground of truth, say which is called by my name and say we are delivered to do all these abominations? Is this house which is called by my name become a den of robbers in your eyes? There ye go. Behold, even I have seen it, saith the Lord. But go ye now unto my place, which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel. And now because ye have done all these works, saith the Lord, I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not, and I called you, but you answered not. Therefore will I do unto this house which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers as I have done to Shiloh, and I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim. Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me, for I will not hear thee. And he does not hear those uh uh who bring forth uh iniquity like the Lord has already brought out there in Psalm. Now turn over a couple pages to Jeremiah eleven. And we're gonna read scriptures one through fourteen there. Jeremiah eleven, one through fourteen. The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and speak unto the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and say thou unto them, thus saith the Lord God of Israel, cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenant. Now how can you obey the words of this covenant looking at the books of men? Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace. We talked about that earlier tonight, didn't we? And uh where uh Egypt is to be in the iron furnace. Um And it says, uh, when I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt from the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them according to all which I command you, so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God. Now, uh tonight's lesson will be titled, Obey My Voice, and it will be uh made known or made available, I should say, on Spotify Deezer, Nine Heart Radio uh sometime tomorrow. If you want to go back in and listen to this lesson, because the part of, even though uh there's many things that we've gone over tonight, one of the things I hear the Lord keep saying is obey my voice. He's telling his people, and his people are those that will hear his voice to obey what he's telling them to do uh as instruction. Why? Because God is our Father and He knows best, and He is not gonna lead us wrong, He's not gonna steer us wrong, He is gonna take care of us, uh, but we got to follow what He's telling us, all right? Obey my voice and do them according to all which I command you. So shall ye be my people, and I will be your God. You see the covenant, so many places God has brought out the covenant that God has made with us in these last days. And it all starts with us obeying his voice and being taught of him and him being our God and us being his people. If you say you're a Christian, then you're gonna obey his voice. You cannot call yourself a Christian. I don't care, you can say it 25,000 times a day. But if you do not obey the voice of God, then you are none of his. Says that I may perform the oath which I have sworn unto your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day. You see how these scriptures, uh, these scriptures were brought out to bring forth the part about God not hearing everyone's prayer. But look how this is confirmation uh to what was brought out in Psalm 66. Then answered I said, So be it, O Lord. Then the Lord said unto me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant and do them. Now we read what Jerusalem is. We know Judah's the lawgivers, and Jerusalem, remember this is where the word of the Lord goes for. If we read it in Isaiah 2, Scripture 3, and he's saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant and do them.
SPEAKER_00I love that. Hear ye the words of this covenant and do them.
SPEAKER_01Sorry, making a note right here on my paper.
SPEAKER_00Hear ye the words of this covenant and do them.
SPEAKER_01For I earnestly protested unto your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even unto this day, rising early and protest and saying, Obey my voice. There it is again. Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart. Therefore I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do, but they did them not. So why do we keep blaming the devil for everything going on in the land? Did not God write in his word that the wrath of God is poured out upon the children of disobedience? Yes, he did. I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant which I commanded them to do, but they did them not. And the Lord said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, the lawgivers, they're supposed to be given the laws of God, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem, where the word of God goes out. They are turned back. Turned back. If you are turned back, that means you're not going forward. They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused. So we're getting ready to learn what their iniquities are, which refused to hear my words. And the people today are still doing the same thing. They're still refusing to hear the words of God because it does not match their own belief. It's not about your belief. It's not about my belief. It is about what thus saith the Lord. It is about what thus saith God, right out of the book of life, to everyone who will take heed to the things written therein. It says, which refuse to hear my words, and they went after other gods, other books, other teachings, the doctrines of commandments of men, other colleges, however you want to look at it. These are gods, because you worship and serve those things more than you did the true and living Almighty God. But they went after other gods to serve them. The house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant, which I made with their fathers. Therefore, thus saith the Lord, behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape. And though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them. Why? Because when God cried unto you, you did not hearken unto him. When God said, Come unto me, I've called, and I've called, and I've called. Who has heard my call? Did you hear his call? Did you hearken unto him? Why should he hearken unto you if you will not hearken unto him? And what can he do for you if you are not doing anything for him? Then shall the cities of Judah, inhabitants of Jerusalem, go and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer incense. They pray unto the altar of an unknown God. But they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble. You see it all the time. People look unto vain as the help of man. People look unto man all the time to deliver him from this and deliver him from that. For according to the number of thy cities were thy gods, little G with an S, O Judah, and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem have you set up altars to that shameful thing. What is that shameful thing? Even altars to burn incense unto Baal, which is Babylon, which is that forty-five thousand plus religions out there. God sent one name, brothers and sisters, Jesus Christ. He didn't send the name you chose for your organization. He sent the name Jesus Christ. And some people don't want to hear that, but I'm not going to stop speaking it until the Lord tells me to stop speaking it. He gave one name, Jesus Christ, his son, the Savior of the world, the Son of God, the government of God. That's the only name wherein we can be saved. Quit deceiving ourselves. There is no other name under heaven given wherein a man can be saved, but the name of Jesus Christ. He is the way, the truth, and the life. The books of men are not the way, the truth, and the life. The doctrines and the commandments of men are not the way, the truth, and the life. Your thoughts and opinion are not the ways or the way, the truth, and the life. Jesus Christ is. John 14, 6. So the shameful thing, even altars to burn incense unto Baal. Now listen, therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them, for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble. Why? Because they refuse the only salvation wherein they could be saved.
SPEAKER_00Now um that's a scary place to be.
SPEAKER_01Blessed be God, which have not turned away my prayer nor his mercy from me. And that is a great blessing right there. To know that when you cry out to God, he hears your prayer. That is such a great blessing. And I thank God for that. Now, as uh we look at a review here, we looked at what it means to come and see. We looked at the waters and the floods, uh, and now we know uh uh the part about coming and seeing is coming back to the word of God and letting God teach us the waters, uh, peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues. They're in Revelation 17, 15. The power of God, we receive power after that. We receive the Holy Ghost. We learned that silver is tried, uh uh, and God is that um purifier of silver. And then God's house is the pillar and ground of truth. We also not only saw come and see, but come and hear. And then we learned about the prayers that God hears. The biggest thing we need to take away from tonight's lesson is obey his voice. I don't care what anyone else tells you. I don't care who's whispering in your ear saying, Well, you need to do it this way and you need to do it that way. What hath the Lord answered and what hath the Lord spoken? Uh it's also written, is it better that we listen unto you or unto man? Or, oh, excuse me, is it better that we listen unto you or unto God? So we know it's always better to listen to God. God is uh He's a spirit, and God sees all and He knows all and He loves us and He wants us to have the very best if we will allow Him to show us how to have success in this life and that and the life to come. Precious Father, God, we thank you, God, for this lesson. We thank you for your words of truth. God, please turn us again, Lord, so that we be saved, God. Please quicken us by thy spirit each and every day, God, to go back into your word, Lord. Even amongst all the things that we do, God, quicken us each and every day, God, to turn back to you our first love, so that the land can truly be healed, God, by your words. And we will give you all honor, glory, and praise for all of it, God.
SPEAKER_00Amen and amen. Be blessed this night.
