Censorship is basically a dirty word.  Yet, when we say what we mean … many times, we face a wrath that turns into a big “shut up”.  Liberal media … not the partisian kind, but the ‘a lot sort of kind’, has led us to not talking anymore and believing whatever we want.

That’s why I miss the days when we had networks and censors.  If you wanted something out-of-bounds you had to seek it.  Oh there was bias, but content had to pass a lot of tests.  That is why old TV is so much better than modern smut.

Remember kids, even news used to cost money.  The TV was free, but the newspaper and delivery to your doorstep was a daily occurrence and you actually paid the paperboy cash for the service.

Alas, I am told we now have this thing called progress.  Youtube gets you nearly everything.  TV channels are basically streaming video.  There is still competition for your eyes … that is the info you want … but from more than partisan sources.  Left leaning of times past is pretty right leaning now days.  Watch Chronkite and you will see it.

So much for education.  Er, well, propaganda  Let’s face it, we are fractured because of it.

But, you know, there is no real going back.  Oldtimers, I am sorry.  But don’t worry, things will change again.  AI being the operator that is all so vogue right now.  Most news and video … you won’t even be able to tell if it is real or not.  Which is why I stress and have stressed in past episodes the notion of human authentication.  We will all have what will amount to an old school Japanese seal to determine  authenticity.  Look up hanko/inkan to see what I am talking about.  

One thing is certain.  This is me.  And I wrote this content.  Did the edits.  And all the rest.  There are others like me.  How long we will all be around is another question.
