#8 TK - Multiple Sclerosis
Todd "TK" Kelley is a coworker and a friend who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2013. MS is a potentially disabling disease of the brain and spinal cord in which the immune system attacks the protective sheath (myelin) that covers nerve fibers and causes communication problems between your brain and the rest of your body. Eventually, the disease can cause permanent damage or deterioration of the nerve fibers.
TK shares his extraordinary journey from diagnosis to living a full life. It's an important story that he hopes can help others who might be affected by this disease.
