Leggings for leaky runners with Kim Pierpoint
Aug 07, 2023 Season 1 Episode 24
Sarah Boyles

In this episode, I talk with Kim Pierpoint, a retired healthcare administrator and sprint triathelete.  She'll tell us her personal story of leaking while training and not liking what was on the market.  She developed a prototype and created her own brand of leggings and shorts designed for leaky runners.

She'll talk about the limitations of what was on the market and the most common feedback she got while developing her product (invisible panty-lines).  She'll discuss PFAS chemicals and how she manages this, how to care for her product, her return policy and how they hold up over time.

Her line of running wear is made for women with mild to moderate leaks and is only available on line.  Kim wants to keep women active and is committed to improving awareness and education around bladder leaking for women.

You can check out her line of sportswear here: https://pricklypearsports.com/

Come hear Kim's story!
