The Advent theme this week is Joy! Unlike happiness, which is circumstantial, biblical joy goes much deeper than agreeable circumstances and pleasant emotions. Biblical joy is rooted in who God is and what He does for us. We explored Mary’s joyful song of praise in Luke 1, as well as the surprisingly joyful chapter of Isaiah 35.
