Anthem Podcast: Chasing the Wind // Ecclesiastes 12:1-14

The book of Ecclesiastes ended as it began, with the Preacher exclaiming, “Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher, all is vanity.” In Solomon’s strictly “under the sun” mentality, this was a wise and correct conclusion. Although it was completely
avoidable, it seems as though Solomon’s life ended in obstinate rebellion against the Lord. Praise God that we are not bound to such vain existences! Therefore, “let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.”
