SPEAKER_03I know. Well, we're not saying the name. We're not saying the name, sorry. It could be the other It could be the other guy, GPS. It could be FedEx. You're like DHL? DHL. Did they go out of business?
SPEAKER_02They did.
SPEAKER_03Didn't they? Or I don't know. I I haven't seen one forever.
SPEAKER_02But I like it when it's uh a little chill. So we're gonna start off with Spider-Man. Oh, buddy. Dude, I knew you wouldn't go with us. I brought I was trying to get the fam to go. Okay. In my he tell you shit that Oh yeah, dude. I was listening, I was editing the last episode. Yeah, we should all go. But he did entertain it like Well maybe. Fucking bullshit. He didn't even try it.
SPEAKER_03No, because I told you the kiddos are gonna be here. Carly and the kiddos, my sister-in-law's in town. That's not what you told me. She had the kiddos. I did. I said, because I'd want to take the kiddos. They really want to go see it.
SPEAKER_02I'll pull up the text. That's not what you told me.
SPEAKER_03Bro, I'll pull up the text. You told me that you left town. I'll pull up the text right now. And it's right here. I never said I left town. And you did. No, I didn't. Look. No.
SPEAKER_02You said.
SPEAKER_03I said, uh uh.
SPEAKER_02I gotta run to Phoenix.
SPEAKER_03Oh, that was to go pick up my brother-in-law the day. Yes, because he flew in separately. Well, you said you were leaving. I did. I did. And I'm like, okay. And guess where I went? Uh Portillos? Portillos. Did you? Oh my god. Dude. Yeah, yeah. That deserves one of these. Oh my god. How long has it been? A good while.
SPEAKER_02Like, I think last year was the last time. I thought we were bros, dude. Like, why would you not send me an Italian beer? Or at least send a picture going.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Look at the motherfucker, I'm at your place. I know. And then we were upset because like we didn't see, you know, at the takeout counter the beer, and we're like, Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_02Oh shit, hold it beer in Phoenix, dude.
SPEAKER_03And then I looked over and they moved it by the by the ordering station. Right by it. So I was like, oh my god, thank you. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_02Can I get that big goblet? Yeah. It's so fucking cold that when you drink it, there's ice chunks in this beer.
SPEAKER_03It's the best thing ever, dude. So good. The best thing. But they only have two beers. But that sunshine blonde or that Scottsdale Blonde, whatever that is. There's that and Coors Light. Yeah, that Scottsdale Blonde's good. It's good. Especially when you're eating. I got that. I got a uh a Chicago dog. And then my brother or Jen and I rather split the fish sandwich.
SPEAKER_02When do you get the fish sandwich? It was good. It's good. I've been stuck on the same bullshit. The chili dog. We go down there, say for a tournament. We're there at lunch, so I'll get me a chili dog, then I'll get the beef and cheddar for later. Right. Because we're gonna be at the fields all day, you know? Fucking sandwich. It costs us like $90.
SPEAKER_03By the time you're out of there, it's expensive. But by the time you're out of there.
SPEAKER_02Lately I found they have a chili burger. It's not really on the menu, but I'm like, you got burgers? You got chili. And it's so fucking good. It's like a charred broiled, you know, like you taste the char. The chili's killer.
SPEAKER_03We went to AW today. We took the kiddos there because, you know, they're in Pennsylvania. They don't have that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02AW is tough. No, I like it. It's just tough to find. We got lucky to get one. To get one, but they're hit or miss here. Yeah. It's because of their fucking kids that work there, honestly. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03They just don't give a shit. I think like the more tattoos, the more piercings, the the less your burger's gonna come out good. Yeah, maybe. You want the kid that's there, like go get her. Well, I says, hey sir, how can I help you? Yeah. Not the tattooed dudes like, what's up? What do you want? You're like, oh make it yourself, dude. There's a fucking kiosk is over there, bro. Put your order in. That's what Taco Bell. Jed and I walked in and Taco Bell walked up the counter and he said, We no longer take your order. You have to go order from the kiosk.
SPEAKER_01That's how McDonald's is, too.
SPEAKER_03It's our Taco Bell here.
SPEAKER_02Why? I like talking to people. Well, I I'm getting I'm getting less and less liking talking to people, but you had more gorffold. I like especially for an order. I like to talk to you because I want to make sure you heard me. But man, I've never had a single problem with the kiosk. Like every time I order it's perfect. I can't. And then you get to put in a fucked up name. Because you gotta put a name on the order at Taco Bell. Yeah. I've been some wacky names, and then you forget that you put your name as fucking Rowley. You know, and they're Rally! Oh, I go. I'm just sitting there. I go racist, but it's just me. Yeah, I was Django. Django. I've been Django before. Yeah, can I say the N-word? Motherfucker. But I I got Vinny on that kick now too. Just doing weird names. Doing stupid name. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Just like Seymour Butts. Yeah. Well. Amanda Hug and Kiss. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I don't go full names, Mike Hunt or nothing. When you go bowling too, you put your names. Type it in, yeah. Yeah, get your Don Kedick. Yeah. But they were McCracken. They don't put they don't yell out two names. So I'll I've been Amadeus. I do weird shit. People are like, oh, I like your name. Thanks.
SPEAKER_03Did you see Odyssey yet? No, I didn't see Odyssey. Dude, the best part is when he fights uh both of these. Both of these nuts.
SPEAKER_02I really don't I feel stupid saying this, but I don't even know what it's about. I've never even seen a trailer.
SPEAKER_03Okay. It's about Homer's Odyssey, the poem? Ancient Greek poem.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I mean I get the gist now that I've seen it through reels or whatever. Yeah, yeah, yeah. People are dressing up in like full Odyssey Greek. Fucking Spartans and shit.
SPEAKER_03I don't know what's going on. That's where my parents are at right now, dude. Greece? They're in Greece, buddy. Oh really? Living it up, hot tub in their room.
SPEAKER_00No shit.
SPEAKER_03Like, oh yeah, dude, swimming in all the you know islands nearby, seafood dinners, like rubbing it in our face, sending it to us like, ah, mom and dad having a good time. Like, bro.
SPEAKER_02Says the guy who got back from a two-week Australian vacation.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, bro, we're just we're just well traveled, yeah, well-cultured. Yeah, well. As I sit and smoke my stogie, you know the shit. It's what? It's what we do.
SPEAKER_02Speaking of piercings, Vinny got his ears pierced, man.
SPEAKER_03Oh, how'd that go? The diamonds? Did you get them done?
SPEAKER_02He got this diamonds and factory grown or like dude, this shit ain't the same. Like, I thought it was gonna be fifteen bucks, you know? So it used to just be little studs, you know, a little ball or gold ball, silver ball, maybe some little diamonds. They had a whole board. It was like, oh wow, you got quite a collection here now of you know different choices. So he's like, I like those. I'm like, all right, let's get those. They're little diamonds. They're like 90 bucks. I go, 90 bucks? Well, the piercing's free. You're just paying for the earring. I'm like, earring that per ear? No, no, no, you get two. I'm like, you got anything in the lower range? $30, $40 range, man? Yeah. He found $50 ones. And they're in good size, because he's got small ears. You don't want these honkers, you know.
SPEAKER_03But that's the style at the time.
SPEAKER_02But maybe he does because it when he first got him first week it's a bling bling, bro. Like pretty cool. Yesterday he goes, Yeah, my friends say they need to be bigger. I'm like, pretty fucking Deion Sanders.
SPEAKER_01They're already pretty big.
SPEAKER_02He's got tiny little ears, and these things are they're like big square ones.
SPEAKER_03They were 60 bucks. Give him some loops and tell him wear these to school one day and then I'll get you your bigger ones.
SPEAKER_02You know, I think I'm so cool, you know. I'm like, dude, I wore fucking hoops with little balls at the end or spikes, you know. Who wear hoops?
SPEAKER_03No one wears hoops. I'm like It's because you're you were heavy metal punk rock, bro. Yeah. They're all hip-hop and freaking alfalfa hair or fucking alfalfa. If you want big square fucking diamonds that like it's gonna cover your whole lobe. They want those diamonds, and for some reason they want purses across their chest now or fanny packs across their chest. That's where I draw the line. Yeah. No. You don't like that the fanny pack across the chest thing?
SPEAKER_02No.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_02No. Buying like $200 pair of Jordans? No. Well, oh yeah, let's get into that too. Um for me wearing some kind of goofy Murce or whatever.
SPEAKER_01It's a satchel.
SPEAKER_02It's a satchel. You know, I could see I could use it. Um here at Disneyland or something. It's convenient, put shit in, yeah. But I'm never wearing that.
SPEAKER_01Some people pull it off really well though.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, gay guys. I mean, honestly, if Abe showed up with that, dude, we'd just ridicule him. You know, like, what the fuck, dude? I'm like, I gotta go to my car really quick. But I wouldn't let my son wear one of those to screw.
SPEAKER_01I can see him wearing it though. Like, he's got that style that he Ah he don't got that style, he got no style.
SPEAKER_03Motherfucker, you ain't got no style.
SPEAKER_02He's trying to find style, so meeting up with sketchy guys.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So that's what we're getting at this. He's got this dude that he found online or something that will come to your house and sell you clothes out of his trunk.
SPEAKER_01In the middle of the night.
SPEAKER_02At like 10 30 at night, right? We were sleeping, me and Wendy. And he rolled up. We wake up the next day, the next morning, and he's got a new shirt, new sweats, and shit. Yeah, I met this guy, he came out, came to our house, and I'm like, no. Never again, bro. No, you don't do that. Like, you went outside and met some dude. Yeah, yeah, he had a flashlight, and we're in his trunk, and it's like name brand shit. So, like this element shirt.
SPEAKER_01It's essentials for fear of God. Element was uh Yeah, element was our shit.
SPEAKER_02Skateboard, yeah, it was our shit. Essentials. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So it's a nice shirt. Is it real? No, it can't be, dude. Like I looked it up.
SPEAKER_01I look I was looking at the tag and stuff, and I was looking at the website. They're not the same.
SPEAKER_02I don't think so, but it's pretty legit looking, but instead of 120 bucks, you're paying 40.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, for one shirt.
SPEAKER_02I'm like, dude, do you think you're paying 40 bucks for a $150 shirt and it's real?
SPEAKER_03Yeah. So I showed up to fifth grade with payless Adidas. You know, they had the stripe like Adidas, but they have the extra stripes, you know, they don't get sued and they're not Adidas, they're like spheres or some shit. And I got clowned on so bad, bro. I went home and I threw those things out.
SPEAKER_01Just white it out.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. But I I remember showing up with non-name brand shit, you know.
SPEAKER_02The problem with our fake shit, it was fake. Like it was Nokia. And you know, psyche. Yeah, it didn't. This very good knockoff. I'm over here like I know what I'm doing. I'm stretching the material and microscope. Seems legit, you know. I know it's not, but I don't want to crush the kid. But he'll fight you to the end. Oh, it's real.
SPEAKER_01He's having a back to school sale. That's what's so cheap.
SPEAKER_02It's just a back to school sale.
SPEAKER_03How much did he end up spending? Curious.
SPEAKER_02That night he spent 80.
SPEAKER_01That first one was 65. So he got a shirt and some sweat shorts. And then the guy came back like a few days later.
SPEAKER_02And yeah, he came back. We were up this time. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And my mom went out there and everything.
SPEAKER_02Did she?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I was wondering because I was gonna go out, but I was in my underwear and I still don't have a underwear, especially my underwear.
SPEAKER_03I'm like, I need some shit. I need some shorts. I need some shorts. What do you got?
SPEAKER_01The second shirt he got, if it was a brand called Bape, which it stands for Bathing Ape. And my mom looked at the meaning of that, and it's like, what was it, like a kid who slacks or something?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, an adolescent teenager who slacks or something.
SPEAKER_01And he paid how much was it for that shirt?
SPEAKER_0240 maybe.
SPEAKER_01Like 40 or 50 bucks just for that t-shirt. And it's like camouflage, kind of like a soccer jersey.
SPEAKER_02And then on the back it's got a number 93 and it says Bape B-A-P-E. I'm like, dude, if I bought you that shirt, you would laugh at me and not even wear it. It's hard to try to buy a kid clothes because they need another fucking style.
SPEAKER_01And that that green Nike shirt you got?
SPEAKER_02Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_01Oh my gosh. He all he wears is like Nike shirts. Like just playing, you know, Nike. Yeah, he got this shirt at the baseball thing last weekend, and because it's green, he's like, I'm not gonna wear that. That's so ugly. I hate that shirt. Oh can I throw it away? Like, oh my gosh. He's so weird.
SPEAKER_02And then we went to Walmart the next day. Oh yeah. And that kid was worn. I'm like, there's that exact shirt, dude. It looks good. And it does, it's cool. So this dude's been getting around, is what you're saying.
SPEAKER_03This dude in the car is getting around.
SPEAKER_02Well he is. All those kids buy that shit. So he had his today was first day of school. Yeah. They're back to school already.
SPEAKER_01Mom cried.
SPEAKER_03Oh, he's sophomore now?
SPEAKER_01No, freshman.
SPEAKER_02First day of high school, dude.
SPEAKER_01I'm like, dude, you're Mom's out there taking pictures. He's like, oh.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and I told mom last night, don't let him do. He's got this whole fucking thing where he puts his fingers up like a sideways peace sign, you know, like, eh, I'm fucking cool. I'm like, don't let him do that, because he does that in every picture now. Just don't let him do that. She sends me a picture. There he is, fucking. But I called him because I knew he was getting on a bus at seven or something. So I called him and he's like, Yeah, I'm at the bus stop. Mom walked all the way down here just so to take a picture of me.
SPEAKER_01Of well, because his buddy.
SPEAKER_02Okay. And they're both cool guys. But those are little boys that I've known and going to high school.
SPEAKER_03They're they're becoming mad.
SPEAKER_02So I try to give them a good little pep talk, a little one minute. Yeah. You know. Hey, it's a first impression, man. You do you you only get one chance to make a first impression. Right. And if you're an asshole going into the first class and you're just, uh, whatever. They know this. Yeah. I said, don't stand out. Good or bad. Just fucking be there. Eye contact. Pay attention. Nod your head and move on.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Don't be fucking looking out in the space or I know he wouldn't be like, hey, I got questions. You know, not gonna be that kid for sure. But don't be an asshole first day. Yeah, yeah. Have fun. Good first embers. Go get it. He's like, I said, I love you, buddy. Go have a great day. He goes, Okay. Bye. It's like, man.
SPEAKER_03No, no, no. Thanks, Dad. I love you too.
SPEAKER_02I know. Yeah, something. Damn. Too cool to tell your dad you love him.
SPEAKER_03Well it's it's not cool to tell him you love him.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you know, I didn't my dad wasn't in high school.
SPEAKER_03I still hug and kiss my dad to this day, bro.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, well, big hug, kiss on the cheek. Now, like my dad's never been like that kind of guy. Yeah. So when I go back to see him, you know, a couple years ago, I'm like, yeah, give him a big hug. What's up, man? Kiss my cheek. He's like, what the fuck? He's like, what are you doing? What the fuck are you doing? He's like, what are you gay now? I'll talk to him if I'm I had a few or something. I'm like, yeah, all right, Dad, talk to you soon, man. I love you. All right, talk to you. You know, times will tell me he loves me.
SPEAKER_03That's an SNL sketch with Billy.
SPEAKER_02Oh, dude, that was the best.
SPEAKER_03The best one to go, Dad, I just want to come talk to you, see how you're doing. I'll let you go.
SPEAKER_02I'll let you go now.
SPEAKER_03It's just like, dad, that's the best. It's like, no, I just want to talk to you. How are you doing? But the growing up thing is funny because my nephew, he turned 13 out here, the oldest one, right? Kellen. He's got his brother Cameron and younger sister Claire Bear. And um we took him to the palace because they're like, oh, cowboys get dressed up. And so we took him to lunch at the palace. And they walk in, they're one, he didn't get the kids' menu. They gave him the adult menu, and he's like, Oh, everybody's having fun trying their thing. And the cowboy guy came and he gave the two younger kiddos chips and a little silver dollar thing, and he's like, Welcome, Western. My kid, man. And I told him, I go, hey bro, welcome to being an adult, man. Yeah. I go, the choices suck, and then no more fun stuff like this anymore.
SPEAKER_02Well, as a parent, though, you try to keep your kid 12.
SPEAKER_03So you can eat cheaper, yeah.
SPEAKER_02I remember going into buffets and shit. You're 12. Going to the movie theater, you're 12. Yeah. He'll be like, oh no, I'm 13. Shut the fuck up.
SPEAKER_03Shut up. Yeah, yeah. No one's asking you.
SPEAKER_02Like, go to Golden Corral, man. You can pay off 12. 9 bucks instead of 18, you know?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, oh yeah.
SPEAKER_02And you only eat $4 worth of food anyway. I take Jenny and I say, She's only 14.
SPEAKER_03Like, excuse me? And I start making out with her.
SPEAKER_02They're like, what? But some places won't even serve you kid meals if you're over. Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Or they make you paid like double.
SPEAKER_02It's like, dude, I just want a kid's meal. Yeah. I just want a little bit of food. Yeah, I don't need a lot of it. I already ate. I'm just here to drink it.
SPEAKER_03It's cheaper because it's less food. I'm not getting more food.
SPEAKER_02Kids' meals, dude, are fine. For five bucks, you get man, it's good.
SPEAKER_01I love a good kid's meal.
SPEAKER_02My mama believes meals is your fucking weirdo.
SPEAKER_03I like the value meals of places. Give me a four-dollar like Wendy meal, chicken nugget, a little cheeseburger. Yeah, full full faux. Or the McDonald's has the five dollar um uh spicy McChicken meal. Uh chicken nuggets, fries. That's all I need. I don't need anything else. It's so expensive to go anywhere. Oh, bro.
SPEAKER_02And now you need the apps. I got you gotta get all stupid apps. So I used to stop, you know, Vinny'd be at school or whatever, doing his thing. Hey, babe, I'm going on my way home. Stop grabbing something to eat. Now it's like what does Kate want? Kate wants this uh Vinny because it's summertime. Vinny's here. I'm like, fuck, man. I was just trying to stop and grab a something, yeah. Lunch now it's 60 bucks.
SPEAKER_0320 bucks turn to 60 bucks. I'm like, fuck.
SPEAKER_02So we went out the other day because Kate wasn't here. Oh that's when you want to go, yeah. Wendy's like, let's go. Kate's not here. Grab us some lunch.
SPEAKER_01Oh my gosh. You most of the time when you get lunch, you don't even get anything from me, anyways.
SPEAKER_02Yes, I do. That's lie.
SPEAKER_01No, it's not.
SPEAKER_02Bullshit.
unknownIt's not.
SPEAKER_02I get you something all the time because it's getting expensive, bro.
SPEAKER_03It's getting stupid, stupid, stupid. It's stupid. It's stupid it's super freaking expensive to go freaking eat anywhere, dude. It is. It's getting too much. And then we gotta take three kiddos with you. My poor sister-in-law. Like, we were helping, I covered the movie tickets when we went, circling back to Spider-Man.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I think.
SPEAKER_03I covered the movie tickets. She's like, how much do I like? I got it, you know, 100 bucks for all the adults and the kids to go.
SPEAKER_02I know it makes that $20 renting it at home.
SPEAKER_03Kind of worth it, right? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, you're like, well, I'll get a watch for 20 bucks and I get to stop and pee whenever I want. Chug of beer. Harkins needs some beer, bro. I don't know. They must not have a contract. Oh, they need a beer so badly. I would have enjoyed myself just a little bit more with the beer.
SPEAKER_02Now, you did go see it eventually. Yes. So let's get into uh Spider-Man. Dude, Bomb. Remember this one.
unknownMy main man!
SPEAKER_02This is Spider-Man from Electric Company. How's it going? No. You're old enough for that.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_02That was a Spider-Man. Where are you coming from, Spider Man? Nobody knows. Do you are on today's great joke?
SPEAKER_03Spider-Man. I met Spider-Man meets this boy.
SPEAKER_02I met this Spider-Man from Electric Company. Where? In Prescott. No shit. In 1978, I was about four. But I mean, look how fucking great that's his costume. Oh bro, that's sick. Yeah, it was just Oh my god. Now if you see that, you'd be like, who's this idiot?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah. Well shit, even the jump from Toby McGuire to where we're at now, you know, it's just and you know which one I liked out of all the Spider-Man's, dude? Yeah. The Into the Spider-Verse. The cartoon. The cartoon. The cartoon. Did you see that one? Fucking ham. Oh, dude, it was ham spider and shit. Ask Rhino. Shout out, Rhino. Rhino. Rhino Rhino. He he'll even tell you, dude, Into the Spider-Verse was a great one. I watched that.
SPEAKER_02I actually watched that. But we did go, it was Ryan's. Speaking of Ryan, it was his birthday. So we took him. What's he, 200? 201. He's gotta be into 180s at least. Alright. But we took him for his birthday, and what'd you think of the movie?
SPEAKER_03Good. I'm trying no spoilers for anyone. I'm gonna try to refrain because we're still kind of fresh.
SPEAKER_02That's what I was kind of him on there.
SPEAKER_03I'm like, yeah. Yeah, so no spoilers, but but talk about the movie itself. Right, right. But setup is great, it's continuing on. I'm gonna spoil it, I'll tell you. A lot of like what the uh I'm like the way freaking Captain America comes out. No, just play. Um no, dude, it it good story, good action. It was action the whole way.
SPEAKER_02Now I asked Ryan do you have to know all the Spider-Mans to he's like, no.
SPEAKER_03Not necessarily, no.
SPEAKER_02But necessarily.
SPEAKER_03No, the one you do need to know because the one you do need to know is the Where the fuck universe is he in? He's in that same MCU, the same one where Endgame was at, same one with all that.
SPEAKER_02Where where it ended the last time where they forgot who he was. Yeah, so that's all the same verse. But with the people that were in it. Like the Punisher, that's not without spoilers. He was a big part of the movie.
SPEAKER_03Where the fuck did he come from? Like why okay, you gotta watch the Disney Punisher, the Netflix started with the Netflix Punisher. See, that's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_02You gotta do too much fucking work to kind of see what's going on. And then the the big spoiler of um I'm not saying who the main person That's not even That is a thing. It is, but it's not on the radar of anything else.
SPEAKER_03Yes, it was just like, what the fuck, man? Well you gotta remember, Marvel in the 90s was about to go bankrupt bankrupt and all that, so they started selling off rights to their characters, and that's what kept Marvel open, and that's why Sony acquired Spider-Man and Fox acquired you know, X-Men and all these ones, and each of them went out to make their own respective movies. It was then Marvel coming back in with Disney to start the whole Marvel verse because Disney bought Marvel, then Disney bought Fox, then the only one that Disney has not been able to get back is Spider-Man, and they had to work together with Sony. Yeah, but at the same time, Netflix had purchased a bunch of rights to lesser heroes, Daredevil Punisher, a billion dollars in a week, or you know. Yeah, that's ridiculous. But if I don't think the bankruptcy thing, that's crazy. If you go and watch all this other shit, all these things, they're all connected. Because when the licensing of Netflix, I believe, ran out, in my understanding, anyways. Uh uh Disney took it back and they took all that storyline and everything back that Netflix started for Daredevil Punisher, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, uh were you a big cage reader of the magazine? Oh, comics, yeah. Comics and everything. So you're really into yeah, yeah. Not as much as not as much as right now, but nobody is, I think.
SPEAKER_02But nobody. So but as a just a normal dude, like did you see the last one? Yes, like, I don't know.
SPEAKER_03You know, I don't know. With dudes at school and everything, we'd show up, hey, did you read this one comic? And if I didn't, someone would be like, I got it, come over there and you know, read it, blah, blah, blah.
SPEAKER_02But the regular goer to the movies now, you're just kind of like, the fuck is that? And that was Jen. Jen was not the happiest. Me neither. I I really I well we went and saw it in 3D. Well, was that any better? I didn't see it without it, so yeah. I can't tell you it was the best.
SPEAKER_03You like you like 3D movies in general?
SPEAKER_02I don't. I do. It hurts my eyes. See, it doesn't hurt my eyes. I like makes me spin it. But it's not like oh the fucking poke me in the eye. It's not great 3D, but just the whole perspective. It it seems like it goes in more than out at you. Yeah. And it's a trip, you know, and I keep taking them off, like weird. But the visuals were beautiful. It's great. Just vision around. It seems like it's really going back to the video game aspect. Have you played the video games? It's a lot of that kind of scenery flying through the cities and all that stuff. That was really cool. But some of the storyline, I'm like, the fuck? And how come they don't remember him? I understand from the last movie, which I went back and watched after. Yeah, yeah. But Hulk remembered him.
SPEAKER_03That's part of the point, is that things trigger I say again, don't no spoilers. I know. But things trigger people remembering Spider-Man. So you just it's well. Things do. So they trigger. It's they they trigger, yeah. But but I thought as the I think it was a good movie.
SPEAKER_02I thought it was good. Right.
SPEAKER_03But if anything, too, you could even kind of like that. You can even kind of forget the past for the exception of the not remembering story. And that's where I kind of agreed with Jen, where she's like, they should have left that and left them gone and had him start new friends, new people like other characters, Gwen Stacy.
SPEAKER_02And that's where I'm wondering what they're doing with these movies. Like, are they just sticking straight to was this part of a comic book at any time, or are they just already making new scripts now? They're doing their new thing because one of the if they could do new things, just why not make some new friends?
SPEAKER_03Right. Fucking start a new story a little bit.
SPEAKER_02Cheating on him, or not cheating because you don't know him, but why can't he go get a new girlfriend? Right. Why has it got to be Gwen or fucking or Mary Jane?
SPEAKER_03Or Mary Jane. It's not even Mary Jane. Her name's Michelle something, and it's and it's just MJ. MJ. Yeah, MJ.
SPEAKER_02And I didn't even realize that's Tom Holland's real girl.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, yeah. So Short King, buddy. Short King in Talkers. Overall, I thought it was good.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. Did you stay for the inn?
SPEAKER_03I did with the little fucking walked out of the fuck.
SPEAKER_02But yeah. Now that it's over and I get on TikTok, you know, all this speculation. Oh, that means this and this, and I'm like, okay.
SPEAKER_03I like watching those though. I do too. I I like like all the ones about obsession were really great. Like all the theories about all like all that.
SPEAKER_02Because I got home and started looking up like how much they got paid, all this shit, you know. Yeah, yeah. And uh then it was just in my algorithm. You're talking about Spider-Man? Yeah, Spider Man. Yeah, so it's like the kid made what like he made 12 million, 20? He made twenty Tom Holland. It was most expensive. Second most was John Bertno? No, it was fucking Mark Ruffalo.
SPEAKER_03Oh, no shit. Yeah. For no offense and no spoiler, but for the little bit he's on there. What do you get? Like 12 million? 12. 12, okay. I had it all saved. Yeah, I bet you was in Dale probably gets like 10. 10, I think. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You must have seen this thing. I think so. I think I saw the same thing. And then John Berthnel was.
SPEAKER_02Look, first thing I pull up on TikTok.
SPEAKER_03Spooderman.
SPEAKER_02But yeah, I I think it was good. Odyssey. They were both in that too. Yeah, yeah. Tom Holland and Zendaya. Yeah, yeah. What a week they had, huh? Talk about power couple. Yeah. But speak of the devil. Hey, Vinny's home from school. Hey. Yeah, buddy.
unknownHuh?
SPEAKER_02You look off mad, bro. Did you get picked on today?
unknownI'm tired.
SPEAKER_02Tired?
SPEAKER_01That's the shirt we were talking about.
SPEAKER_03Hey, let me see the mirrorings. Let me see. Let's see it. Nice, bro. Yeah, nice. I like it.
SPEAKER_02Good size. You wanna come on next episode and talk about school?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we want to hear about your day. It's just a boring day.
SPEAKER_02It's just a boring day.
SPEAKER_01The first day should be the least boring day.
SPEAKER_02They're gonna get more boring than this, bro.
SPEAKER_03No, first day is always boring, buddy. They get more fun after that. Come on. Did you meet any chicks? No?
SPEAKER_01Not yet.
SPEAKER_03Didn't all your friends from middle school go into high school with you too? Yeah. All your homeboys? Yep. Well, and he's got friends from different jeans. I know, he looks good, dude.
SPEAKER_01Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_03With those dude, I used to have those sambas. I used to have those sambas in black. Those were my favorite. Those the the Adidas. Except when I had the payless ones.
SPEAKER_01He had an extra stripe.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Well, we literally just they just talked about who they are.
SPEAKER_02So did you talk about who you are?
SPEAKER_03Did you give them did you give them your pronouns?
SPEAKER_02You say, My name's Sam Snade, you better fucking recognize.
SPEAKER_01You better ask somebody.
SPEAKER_02Just go. How was uh art class?
SPEAKER_04That was actually like come here.
SPEAKER_02Let's talk to you for a second. Just for a second. Just for a sec.
SPEAKER_01Wait, so you don't have to do a single media anymore? You switch out for art?
SPEAKER_04I didn't switch it. The counselor just gave it to me.
SPEAKER_02Well, because you asked to switch it. No, I didn't.
SPEAKER_03Do you get lockers? No lockers? No lockers, huh?
SPEAKER_04No.
SPEAKER_03No?
SPEAKER_04I didn't ask to switch it, he just gave it to me. I don't know.
SPEAKER_02Art's good for you. You don't even know what kind of art you'd be doing. Be creative. Fucking make me an ashtray. Bro, I want I want a burner. Ceramics.
SPEAKER_01Dude he has already done it.
SPEAKER_03So I want you to paint a picture of me and I'm gonna put it alongside the one you're gonna do. Oh yeah, dude.
SPEAKER_02Oh for sure. He'll keep that shit too. Yeah, bro. So what do you have? First period. Algebra one. Algebra one. What's second period? English nine. Okay. Nah, intro to art. Okay, so you get two hard classes and then a little fun. What's fourth? Lunch. Oh, that's my favorite.
SPEAKER_03I got a day in lunch.
SPEAKER_02That's my favorite subject right there. Alright. And I got so they call that a period? Like, is that fourth period lunch? Yeah. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Is it like first lunch or second lunch?
SPEAKER_04First.
SPEAKER_01Oh. Do your friends have second lunch?
SPEAKER_04No. Most of them have four fourth lunch. Fourth lunch? Or fourth period? Oh, fourth. That's fourth and fifth.
SPEAKER_02So you get to see your homies be like, hey, what's up, bro? Okay, then what do you got fifth after lunch? Spanish one. Oh.
SPEAKER_03Hola. Muy bueno.
SPEAKER_01Oh, you've been to Duolingo, so you can't.
SPEAKER_03Bien gracias.
SPEAKER_02He did it for he did that stupid. Duolingo is this app that he could do Spanish, huh? Looking Spanish. Or learning Spanish. Well, he did it for like six months streak. Didn't fucking learn nothing. All he was doing is going on there so he can get a streak instead of actually learning.
SPEAKER_01The kids love a good streak.
SPEAKER_02Yo tengo una cita.
SPEAKER_03Hey, I go streaking.
SPEAKER_02Con Mr. Mota. You don't know what I'm talking about, do you? Yeah.
SPEAKER_03No Spanish, pal. No es bueno. No es bueno.
SPEAKER_02So w Spanish class, do they come in as a teacher? Well, they gave a guy or a girl. Girl. It's like a little Spanish broad.
SPEAKER_03And she's like five foot two.
SPEAKER_04She gave us like these colors. Like Roja. Rojo. Yeah. And then we there's like on the table, there's like the color in Spanish, and you gotta go find it.
SPEAKER_02Without nothing, that's just to see where you're at, kinda? Yeah. How do we make it right? Two for two.
SPEAKER_03I got what were the colors? What were the colors?
SPEAKER_04Red and blue.
SPEAKER_03Uh so rojo i azul.
SPEAKER_01Do you know any other colors?
SPEAKER_04Murato? Purple.
SPEAKER_03Okay, how do you say yellow?
SPEAKER_04White? I know white. No, it's jelly.
SPEAKER_03How do you say jello? How do you say yellow?
SPEAKER_04It's like does it start with A?
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Look at you.
SPEAKER_03It's Amarillo.
SPEAKER_01Okay, what's white?
SPEAKER_04It's like blanco. Okay. Black. Negro.
SPEAKER_02Stop that. So when you came in, were they like, hola? Miyamo. Miss Garcia. My name is Dora.
SPEAKER_04She's not even Mexican.
SPEAKER_02No?
SPEAKER_01My my Spanish teacher was Miss Salcedo. I remember that.
SPEAKER_02Dude, I had a smoking freaking Spanish teacher in high school. Oh yeah. I didn't learn shit. Too distracting. I just sat there like this. I didn't take it to 11th grade, but I just sat there like, huh.
SPEAKER_03Like C C.
SPEAKER_02So okay, that's uh six. Or that's fifty.
SPEAKER_01What's after Spanish?
SPEAKER_04Pre-AP biology.
SPEAKER_02What? Pre AP biology. It's advanced placement biology. That's good. No, dude, you'll do some fun stuff in that class.
SPEAKER_04Let's have frog dice.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you get to dice like frogs.
SPEAKER_03We did baby pigs. We did the pigs, yeah. All that. But it's tarantulas out here and dude. Dude, I'll bring my cyst in. So you guys can talk about it, you know?
SPEAKER_02That's that's a tough class, but it's cool. You can learn shit. Yeah. Alright, and then the last period is PE.
SPEAKER_03Oh, it's great because you can be sweaty and then go home. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, his buddies got PE first period, dude. Nothing like that.
SPEAKER_03But I thought baseball goes in place of PE, doesn't it?
SPEAKER_02I thought you're doing like athletics PE. Yeah. So it's like weightlifting and they'll do baseball and shit. Gotcha. Yeah, because we're a team and all that, right? Yeah. His buddy got first period. They don't take showers anymore in high school.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's gross. I never did. I would walk home.
SPEAKER_01We never took showers in high school PE ever. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Well, one, PE was lame. All you did was walk around the track if you had regular PE, so you really weren't sweating. And then even if you didn't. You didn't apply yourself. Yeah, yeah. And then I sweated. And then we actually had like a sport or something, because then I got into wrestling. It's at the end of the day, so I would go straight home and shower at home.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we weren't even allowed to use the showers when I was in high school.
SPEAKER_02When I was in junior high, you had to shower. You had to turn in your towel, or you don't even go. They made you. Nope. And it sucked. Thanks, man. And good talk, Vin. Good luck this year. They made you shower. And it sucked, dude. Yeah. I was a little bald bird. Like just nothing. I had friends that already had full chest hair and big long dicks and shit. I'm like big bush.
SPEAKER_01You know you're the late puben. That was the late pueman.
SPEAKER_02That I think I talked about in that episode. Man, it was just shitty, man. I fucking hated showering with but he had to. And then you can get away with a little deodorant and shit. I mean, we started showering in sixth grade. And then something happened where kids don't have to shower anymore. That's bullshit.
SPEAKER_03Bro, it's just it's gross. I I never liked showering for not even so much for the insecure reasons. I didn't I didn't give a damn so much about that. Because every now and then I would, it was just too much that it's like, I don't want to walk home like this, so I would shower, but well, it that now having it last period is different.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I'm going home. Fuck it. But if you have it first, second, even third, you gotta shower up, man. You're not going back out all shitty. I don't know. But why won't they let you shower? They won't even let them shower no more. It's it's uh it turned into like a gay hazing ritual.
SPEAKER_03Surely I think it also became a liability, and kids get hurt in the shower, kids mess around in the shower. Kids get touched in the shower. You know, it's just that's what I'm talking about. Like I think they're like, uh, we don't want to do this anymore.
SPEAKER_02No, we don't want to tempt these fucking uh teachers or teachers or like what is the deal? You know? Get your ass in a shower, go shower up. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Put wall it used to be open, you know, like a prison. But you know, put a little divider and go shower and but and then he doesn't even get lockers. I mean it's weird.
SPEAKER_03That was weird. Lockers were that we had. That we had for sure. Like I wasn't gonna carry fucking six to eight books all day.
SPEAKER_01They got laptops now though.
SPEAKER_02But they he still has four books.
SPEAKER_01Oh, does he?
SPEAKER_02Yeah. So he's gotta carry this fucking lunk of shit on his back the whole time. It's like, dude, and lockers were more than just books. That's where you go to hang, man. I'll meet you at the locker, man. Yeah, or you tell your girlfriend, I'll meet you at your locker, meet you at my room. Yeah, little notes and be like, hey, I got weed in my locker, bro. Meet you there, you know. Come on, high school. Lockers, dude. Put your pictures up on there. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03No, it was pictures, it was pictures of babes. You'd cut out Maxim. Yeah. True.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Or the girl from art class, you know. Yeah, yeah. No, no. That bitch was ugly. Well, I not in art, but uh, buddy. Damn, dude. Way go, brother. I had uh I joined the drama class because I was in love with this chick, Elizabeth.
SPEAKER_03Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_02She was just stage shit. Yeah, yeah. I was in my Jim Morrison mode at the time, so I'd walk around all like slumpy, like I am the lizard key. Hey, what's up? You know? Been living up on Trick's Rooftop, you know. Writing poems. I was just a weirdo for a while.
SPEAKER_01Is that why my medal name's Elizabeth?
SPEAKER_02No. I know it's not. But maybe. Caitlin Elizabeth? I remember uh I had this girlfriend that was banging and like I was senior, I guess. And it was Sprout Walgreens or something shit. You had to get them from behind the locked door thing, you know? Yeah, yeah. And she was the chick. So I'm like, hey, can I get some condoms in there? And she's looking at me, hey. I know you're from drama. I'm like, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, man. They call me Lizard King, bro. Um, but I I fucking got magnums.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Because I wanted to try to impress her, dude. So stupid. And it's all falling off. It fell off inside this chick that was with, dude. Like, I'm pumping away. I came out, dude. There's no rubber on me no more. You're like, what the fuck? And then I gotta tell this chick, I'm like, um, act like you're fingering her and you're trying to pull fucking rubber out, dude. True story, though. True story. Like, I'm gonna go down on you. You pull it out with your teeth.
SPEAKER_03So I had to go back. Yeah, get some regular citizens. Yeah, get you're let me get the extra mediums. Fucking dumb, dude. Like, I'm a grower, not a shower. Magnums are huge rubbers, dude.
SPEAKER_02I know, bro. You're telling me I know. I get my whole balls in there, my arm, dude. I we were putting them on our arms and shit. Like, because I couldn't use them after that.
SPEAKER_03You were doing the the what you mean.
SPEAKER_02I could pull that thing down to my waist. Magnums really stretch out.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Uh bad buddy. Yeah. Good times, though. Yeah, good times. Caitlin Elizabeth. Well, we got all kinds of fun shit. Let's take a quick five, uh, do a quick game, and we're gonna get out of here. But you were hanging with the humans race. Welcome back to the human race show with Derek Kate and Abe. Celebrity birthday game. Um birthday or height? Well, this one's birthday. Okay. Hey, we do have another game coming next round. Okay. But yeah.
SPEAKER_03Do you have an extra pen somewhere? We can just take little notes on here.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I got Oh, I can grab the boards.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, grab the grab the board. Let's be professional about this shit.
SPEAKER_03Man, quit. It's so funny because, like, you're playing the 8-bit. You know, of all the songs we play on here, the Beatles is the one you never want to play, bro. Yeah, I don't want to hear. You owe money for the rest of your life.
SPEAKER_02Play Beatles songs on you. I ain't doing that. I try not to play any real songs, but man, it's just fun. People want to hear real songs, right?
SPEAKER_03Yeah. We're not monetizing here, huh? I don't know nobody. I feel like I've been using sharpies. Instead of not that. You need those little uh uh wipes, the uh little wet bleach chlorox wet wipes. Now I don't have pins. The ones you wipe your balls with after a hot day, but you don't want to shower. Is that a sharpie or is that
SPEAKER_01Let's try race.
SPEAKER_02Alright. So go ahead. We're doing August.
SPEAKER_01August celebrity birthdays.
SPEAKER_02August celebrity birthdays.
SPEAKER_01Okay, you guys.
SPEAKER_02This is how old they're turning. Um if you go over it's the fucking tie closest. Yeah, yeah, we'll see. Closest. I'll remind you. Salute. Salute. Oh, let's try this. This is a new shot we made with apple.
SPEAKER_03Apple soda.
SPEAKER_02Apple soda.
SPEAKER_03And vodka. And vodka. We're calling it the Soviet apple. Horrible. That is horrible. Kind of weird. Kind of weird. But you know what though?
SPEAKER_01I feel like it would taste almost like Red Bull.
SPEAKER_03Kind of. No. Kind of. I get what you're saying. Kind of. It just the Mexican apple soda is still the best. Like if you would have done that with that, I think you would have gotten me. And you know what? The cream vodka.
SPEAKER_01Like whipped cream vodka.
SPEAKER_03Oh, like whipped cream vodka. I think that what it would be like. That sounds really good. That sounds really good. All right.
SPEAKER_02That's next. We're doing it. Alright, celebrity birthdays. Let's see. What do we got going on?
SPEAKER_01Alright, first up, celebrity birthday, we got Jason Momoa.
SPEAKER_03Ooh. My man crush.
SPEAKER_01That's your man crush?
SPEAKER_03No, not really.
SPEAKER_01I feel like he is a very standard like man crush for a lot of people.
SPEAKER_03Well, and I love it because he's the guy. One, he's like, I won't work out unless you're paying me a lot of money too, then I'll get in shape. He's like, I drink Guinness. Because that's the only thing I love. He's like, I will drink Guinness and all that. And he likes to be a fat dude, and like he's got this dad bot that all the women, yeah, are all in love with, like this dad bot phase.
SPEAKER_02That can go to rip phase.
SPEAKER_03Right, right. So we're guessing his age, huh? Uh-huh. What is dating this? What he's turning this turning this month. He was dating Lisa Bonnet, who's like much older than him. She's like 60, I think, late 50s, 60. And I think I think he's this age, but we'll see. Alright, I'm gonna go with 45.
SPEAKER_01Okay, Abe.
SPEAKER_03We'll go with 48.
SPEAKER_01He's 47.
SPEAKER_03Oh, I'll give it to you. Oh.
SPEAKER_01No, Abe, you got it.
SPEAKER_03Do I? Okay.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you're gonna.
SPEAKER_03Now, if I had said 46. Then you would have been closer without going over it. Yes. So one for Abe. Nice. Should we try to double point? Does it give you the date too? What date was it? Well, it's this month. Oh, okay, but they don't give you. Does it give you his? This is August.
SPEAKER_01Uh it was August 1st.
SPEAKER_03Okay, we should try to double point and guess the day in August. You wanna try that? So not only we guess their age, but try to guess the day. Just for the extra point.
SPEAKER_02So it only you only get the extra point if you get the exact date.
SPEAKER_03Get the exact date, right? It's you gotta guess out of 30. Yeah, okay. So just pick a date. Guess the age, but then pick a day. Okay. Oh, we'll try it. We'll try it.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_03One.
SPEAKER_01Next one I got is Joe Rogan.
SPEAKER_03Oh, Rogan here. I listened too much that I know.
SPEAKER_01You know?

SPEAKER_02Alright. You gotta keep us rolling here, Kate.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_02In between dead time.
SPEAKER_03Be charming, goddammit.
SPEAKER_01Alrighty. I'm not used to that. Be charming. Okay.
SPEAKER_03You guys got it? I'm ready. I gotta guess. You go this time. Or you went last time, no? You go first. Okay. Joe Rogan, he's 57 this year. August 21st?

SPEAKER_01Ready for the next one? Yeah, sure. Next we got Jennifer Lawrence.
SPEAKER_02Ooh. J-Lo. I just watched uh the one where she was nude beating up those dudes on the beach.
SPEAKER_03Oh my god, with the kid, right? Where the parents hire him to sleep with their son.
SPEAKER_02Me and Wendy just watched it.
SPEAKER_01Not a fan of Jennifer Lawrence. I don't like her.
SPEAKER_02I think she I didn't like her in that movie. Like I think she's a bitch. Maybe.
SPEAKER_01I just I I don't mind her act, her acting's alright, but her like personality, like as a real person, I hate it.
SPEAKER_03She's one of them annoying people. I don't know her.
SPEAKER_01She like tries too hard to be funny, I feel like. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03She's not snobby though, at least. I'll give her that. She's not a Hollywood snob. I think she's funny and she's fine. Oh, excuse me.
SPEAKER_02She does funny shit. You know. Oh, we kiss on lips. Oh, sorry. You know, I've seen a lot of funny clips of her.
SPEAKER_03Well, she kisses Natalie Dormer.
SPEAKER_02I might be. Okay, Jennifer Lawrence. Okay, I'm gonna stick with it. Uh, I'm gonna go with she's 38 on the 11th.
SPEAKER_03I'm going 36 on the 16th.
SPEAKER_01You're very close, Abe. She's 36 on the 15th. Oh man!
SPEAKER_03Abe's fucking roping me here. Uh, so I didn't get the extra point, but I got the one. Alright. Damn it.
SPEAKER_02Hey, at least I'm in a ballpark.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. In the parking lot. You could do anybody. It doesn't have to be super uber famous people. You know?
SPEAKER_01Well, then you guys don't know who they are.
SPEAKER_02Well, try it. Try one that you think we don't know.
SPEAKER_01Right now? Yeah. I don't have anyone on hand. I already have these all pre-planned out.
SPEAKER_02Alright, go ahead. Keep going.
SPEAKER_01I'll do that for the next one.
SPEAKER_02Keep going. Just because you don't know him, is what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_01Okay. Alright, so next up we have Steve Martin.
SPEAKER_02Ooh. Oh, Steve Martin. Estefan Martin, huh? Keep talking, Kate. What's your favorite Steve Martin movie? Do something.
SPEAKER_01I don't know my I don't know him, and I feel like a whole lot of things. Um The only thing I can think of, even top of top of my head, is cheaper by a dozen.
SPEAKER_02Oh, jeez.
SPEAKER_03God, that's your generation. Jeez, what a nerd. With uh Ashton Kutcher now. Asin Kutcher was like the big main boyfriend. That's the jerk. Planes, trains, automobiles. Yeah, she's not she's not on that, on that though.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03She's not. Okay. I Okay. Go ahead. I'm gonna go 78 August 23rd.

SPEAKER_02I had the haunts for her, but yeah.
SPEAKER_03I like the what's that mean? I just kind of lost it. I like Donna more in that semester between her and Donna.
SPEAKER_02Donna was a hotter one, but I'm gonna have to go this. Oh man. Clean my board, it's all nice.
