April Brucker is an author, actress, comedienne, ventriloquist, and television personality whose career spans

live entertainment, broadcasting, and the performing arts. As one of the most visible contemporary advocates

for ventriloquism, she has dedicated her career to preserving and promoting the rich legacy of an art form that

has played an important role in American culture for more than two centuries.

A native of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, Brucker earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting from New York

University's Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied at the renowned Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film

Institute. She later earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing and Screenwriting from Antioch

University Los Angeles, combining her passion for performance with a commitment to storytelling, research,

and authorship.
