Thanks for checking us out. This show is about how we as christians are to live life as God intended. The Bible tells us that our number one thing we are supposed to do is to first Love God with all our hearts and all our minds and all our souls. Then we are called to love our neighbors as ourselves. Those around Jesus asked, Who are our neighbors and Jesus told the parable about the Good Samaritan. I mean come on that was over 2000 years ago, what does that look like today?
In this show, we are going to tackle some of the difficult topics for us today. Including Loving our neighbors, Living our lives dedicated to God.... and that includes our finances and our possessions. I’ve heard that there are about 365 verses in the Bible that talks about faith. And there are over 550 on love. But there are over 2300 on money and possessions. That tells me God knew that how we handle our money and things would be a struggle. If you are finding it difficult to manage your money God’s way, maybe you feel overwhelmed, can’t get ahead. Or maybe you’re wondering what does loving God or my neighbor look like… you’re in the right place. I want to dedicate this platform to helping all of us learn how to love God better, and lead like no one else where we live, work and play.
Steve is married to his HS sweetheart for over 35 years, has 4 kids and 4 grand kids. Steve grew up in church and was saved at a young age, but it wasn’t until the last 10 years or so where Steve has been walking closer with Jesus, realizing the importance of ‘Just a closer walk with Him’.
He is a member of Riverside Community Church and is a leader of the Men at the River Mens group. He is also part of the worship team. Thank you to God for allowing me to do this podcast.
