Mignon François turned the $5 she had to feed her family dinner for the week into a multi-million-dollar bakery brand. After years of drowning in debt and brokenness, Mignon founded her bakery, The Cupcake Collection in 2008. She’s sold over five million cupcakes to date—and her incredible story of resilience has received national attention through her new book, Made From Scratch. 


Today, Mignon shares how she managed to build a debt-free business while raising six kids and how she handled the many moments when she felt like giving up. Plus, she reveals the biggest challenges she had to navigate after her business took off and the key advice every entrepreneur should know if you want to scale. (My favorite part was when she talked about what to do when you feel misunderstood and underestimated as a business owner!)
