The Unfair & Lovely Podcast
Hi my name is Chand Bhangal and I am a content creator and community event organizer from the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
I founded the Unfair & Lovely Club back in 2021 and it was a 10 week program that would inspire, educate and empower the participants. We did meet virtually on a weekly basis however I am transitioning to podcast!
If you have ever experienced colourism, YOU ARE NOT ALONE!! So if you're curious to hear my story, want to meet individuals who are taking up space or want to be a part of a community that is working towards tackling societal issues like colourism, let's heal together.
I am passionate about education, decolonization, community development, project management, anti-oppression, and trauma informed work.
I am also a Peer Champion for the Ontario Council of Immigrants Serving Immigrants (OCASI) and I work with them to raise awareness about gender based violence. The reason why I do my work is because I want women in the Peel Region to feel supported, celebrated and acknowledged.

The Unfair & Lovely Podcast - Episode 5: A Personal Update
I am sooo sorry for being so absent, but I had a good reason, I swear!!
For the past three years, I was silently struggling with a personal matter and I kept it super private; some of my family and friends didn't know about it.
The thing is I have so much love around me and when I am vulnerable, my village worries extremely; even when I was going through it, I found myself people pleasing and thinking of others because honestly I feed off of people's energy and I needed to be selfish and maintain this privacy for everyone's sake.
Anyways, it's short update and I'm so excited to pour back into my cup and all my ventures!!
The lineup for The Unfair & Lovely Podcast is crazy, truly I'm so excited!
