Christmas is a wonderful day and time of the year, but for Christians this time of year is beyond special! Over the next few weeks, we will look at Matthew's narrative surrounding the birth of Jesus. This morning we look at Matthew 1:1-17.
We made three points from this text-- Jesus is the fulfillment of the Abrahamic Covenant (v. 2-6); Jesus is the fulfillment of the Davidic Covenant (v. 7-11); and Jesus is the fulfillment of True Israel (v. 12-17).
