March 16, 2025 Zechariah: Christ is the fulfillment; Chapter 4

This morning with church member and guest preacher Mason Troquille we looked again at Zechariah chapter 4. This Old Testament prophet ministered during a time of great upheaval and amid a search for identity for the people of God following the exile to Babylon. Zechariah was a prophet who both ministered to his generation and who ministers to his future readers as he prophesies concerning the Messiah and the coming age.

This morning's sermon looked at Zechariah 4.  Mason described how the text described the church as the fulfillment of the lampstand; Christ as the fulfillment of the oil and olive trees; and the charge of faithfulness.
