This morning we celebrated Resurrection Sunday! Each Lord's Day, Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus--but this Sunday is an extra-special celebration of Jesus' triumph over sin, death, hell, and the grave! On this Lord's Day, we looked back to Jesus' sacrificial and substitutionary death upon the cross.
This morning's sermon looked at Luke 23:44-49 and sought to make three points --We must seek to understand the death of Christ; We must respond to Jesus by faith; We must live for Jesus by faith!
