June 22, 2025 Zechariah: Behold the King

This morning we finished Zechariah chapter 9. This Old Testament prophet ministered during a time of great upheaval and amid a search for identity for the people of God following the exile to Babylon. Zechariah was a prophet who both ministered to his generation and who ministers to his future readers as he prophesies concerning the Messiah and the coming age.

This week's sermon looked at Zechariah 9:9-17 and made two points which seemed particularly relevant to contemporary events --See the humble Messiah who has come and Set your eyes on the Conquering Messiah who will come back.
