This past Sunday we finished Zechariah chapter 13. Zechariah ministered during a time of great upheaval and amid a search for identity for the people of God following the exile to Babylon. Zechariah was a prophet who both ministered to his generation and who ministers to his future readers as he prophesies concerning the Messiah and the coming age.
This week's sermon looked again at Zechariah 13:7-9 and made three points which were --God's judgment against the sinner; God's judgment against the Shepherd; God's vision for His people.
