Our current sermon series beginning in April 2026 is looking at the Old Testament prophet Daniel. This morning was our first look at this important book from the 6th century B.C. prophet Daniel. This Old Testament book has been cherished by faithful Jews and Christians for generations. However, as Christians we read the book from the perspective of its fulfillment in Christ. (On a side note, we have had difficulty ascertaining the location of last week's podcast)
Today, we looked at Daniel 3:1-30. This week's sermon made 4 points which were --Don't be surprised when pagans are pagans; Don't be surprised when being a Christian isn't popular; Don't be surprised when Christians must stand firm; Don't be surprised when God protects His people.
