Coach Stephen BSc Hons / Kent Carnivore

In this interview, window cleaner and 'Kent Carnivore' YouTuber Lee shares his journey with depression, chronic fatigue syndrome, and digestive issues that led him to try the carnivore diet. He explains why he believes the diet has been so transformative for his health and well-being, and how he spreads the message through his Kent Carnivore YouTube channel and advocating by example with those close to him. Lee also discusses an upcoming surgery related to his previous ileostomy surgery and his plans to continue following a carnivore diet.

The Kent Carnivore was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in 2012 and followed the traditional medical advice of consuming more fiber and taking medication. However, his condition worsened until he ended up in the hospital and had to have emergency surgery to remove his colon. He struggled with depression after the surgery and was recommended to try a carnivore diet by watching videos by Mikaela Peterson.

He and his partner decided to try it for 30 days and have been on the diet for 19 months: He had ulcerative colitis starting at 20 years old and had a portion of his colon removed. He never found relief with medications, which instead caused a lot of problems. He suffers from bowel incontinence and is now much healthier and happier on a carnivore diet. He feels that if he had been on a carnivore diet from a young age, he would not have developed the illness, and he thanks the diet for saving his life through an emergency surgery.
