SPEAKER_02

Holland, why did the cookie go to the nurse's office? I don't know. He felt crummy.

SPEAKER_03

Oh man. Alright, now it's time for the most educational part of the show we have.

SPEAKER_01

Weird science. Some is used tools to crack open shells.

SPEAKER_03

Whoa. That's pretty smart. God's creation is amazing.

SPEAKER_04

People they're gonna be using tools, probably not to crack open shelves, but maybe to get those really hard to open canisters of ice cream open because it's their birthday! It took me a second to find the button there.

SPEAKER_03

Noah Bailey, Delaney Turner, Emily Tomlinson, Brianna Tomlinson, it is your birthday.

SPEAKER_04

Happy birthday. It's your birthday.

SPEAKER_03

What a blessing. We sometimes overlook how awesome that is that God created our souls, and that we'll be with him forever if we trust in him. This is a great thing to celebrate as a birthday. Now we have everybody's favorite monkey. We have Bible with Mick.

SPEAKER_00

Morning, Mr. Allen! You know, I'm a pretty curious monkey. I love to figure out things and learn how to things work. But sometimes I see things that just blow my mind. Like the other day, I watched a street performer doing some magic tricks. He did this one trick where he put these hoops that were stuck together. And he let me check on them and pull them, but they didn't come apart. But he flipped his wrist, and suddenly all three wings were separated. I just don't understand how he did it. I tried myself, and there was no way. But when I got to thinking, the tricks are still just tricks. I don't know how he did it, but I know he did it somehow. And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Sometimes, sometimes we see things that don't make sense to us. We might have a new math problem that makes our brain hurt, or a rule that seems silly, or even part of the Bible that seems confusing. God will use us and give us understanding that we need.

SPEAKER_03

That's a great reminder, Mike. Yeah, this week in our deep thoughts verses, we're talking about strength. And so today's Deep Thoughts verse is 1 Chronicles 16, 11. It says, Seek the Lord in his strength. Seek his presence continually. And in the same sense, seek his presence continually. Sometimes we're convicted by our sin. And we want to be like Adam and Eve in the garden after they ate the fruit. And we want to hide from the Lord. We don't want him to see us in our sin. We want to be our own gods. We want to be in charge. And so we don't seek his presence. We actually run from his presence. We hide from him. And say how silly Adam and Eve must look with the God of the universe. Hiding in a garden that he created and he sees and knows all things. And he was compassionate enough to say, Where are you? Gave them an opportunity to seek them. That's what God does for us. We run for him. He gives us an opportunity to come back. Seek his presence. Draw close to him. Because while we were still sinners, God loved us so much he died for us. So you can bring everything to him. You can trust him. Don't run from him. Seek his presence. And in his presence you'll find strength. So let's pray that we'll have the courage to throw off our sin and seek the presence of the Lord. Heavenly Father, we confess that sometimes we run from you. We don't seek your presence. God draw us to yourself. Lord, we thank you that you are compassionate to us. You're kind to us. But Lord, we need your strength because we are so weak without you. But with you, Lord, our strength is infinite. So we thank you for that. And we thank you for the incredible work of your son Jesus. It's his name we pray. Amen. Alright, you have an incredible day ahead of you today. You have Bible, science, spelling, history, English, social studies, and a whole lot more. But remember, today is gonna be a great day.
