Welcome to the night show except in the morning radio edition where we're coming at your sort of live and kind of on your radio each and every morning. It's Thursday, March 26th, 2026. We have an incredible show for you today. We have announcements. What's up? Bible with me. And a whole lot more. So buckle up those seatbelts and don't touch that dial. Because remember, today is gonna be a great day.

SPEAKER_03

Let's kick it off with some announcements. Varsity Boys Soccer versus CAK. Tonight at 6 p.m. High School Softball versus Mitchell High School at 5 30 p.m. Come on out and support the Knights. Now we have the diceyest section of the show. We have weather with Rick.

SPEAKER_02

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, weather today, high 62. Low with 36, most of the cloudy. The frog's car broke down. It totally croaked. It had to be towed away.

SPEAKER_01

I got lots of puns.

SPEAKER_03

Alright, now we have the most educational part of the show.

SPEAKER_01

We have weird science facts. Certain beetles can shoot boiling hot chemicals at predators.

SPEAKER_03

Could you imagine like just a beetle's crawling across your floor and then it shoots boiling hot chemicals at you? That would be terrifying people that are gonna be shooting their breath at some boiling hot candles to blow them up because it's their birthday! Katie Bersonaire, Oliver Make Cotton, Jacob X, it is your birthday today.

SPEAKER_04

Happy birthday to you.

SPEAKER_03

Live it up, sing a song, do a happy thing for the Oliver's Happy Fox Day. Do it! Happy birthday to you! Live it up, sing a song, do a dance. It's your birthday. God gave you life. Now we have everybody's favorite monkey.

SPEAKER_04

We have Bible with Nick.

SPEAKER_00

Good morning, Mr. Allen! Easter's almost ten days away. And I love Easter egg hunts. So I've been practicing some techniques for church Easter egg hunt. And every color that I've been using means something special to me. See, I start with a green egg. That represents the Garden of Eden because God's plan was already put in motion from the very beginning. And then I die an egg in all of my colors. It makes this ugly grayish brown, which represents sin coming into the world. And if sin hadn't come into the world, we wouldn't have needed Jesus. So it's important to remember the fall. After that, I died a purple egg. That represents the lineage of royalty. Jesus was going to come from the family of King David. And then I have a dark blue egg to represent Jesus' birth. Oh, nope, that's a light blue egg. A light blue egg represents Jesus' birth. God sent his beloved son to the earth to save us. A little baby boy with baby blue. Then I dye a penguin, and that represents the love Jesus showed in all his miracles. Then starts the Easter story. I have a dark green egg for the palm leaves that they laid in front of Jesus as he rides in on a donkey. Then there's the dark blue to represent the night in the garden when Jesus prayed. I then dipped another egg in all the colors, and that represents the betrayal of Judas when he kissed Jesus and turned him over to the soldiers. Next is a yellow egg. This represents Simon Peter. We say sometimes we're yellow if we're we're nervous or scared of something. And he denied knowing Jesus three times. Someone who is afraid of something's called a yellow belly. So because Peter's afraid, I made him yellow. Next is the red egg. This one represents the blood Jesus poured out for me and gave up his life. And then I have a blue and purple egg to represent the temple curtains ripped top to bottom. Surely this was the Son of God. And then the last egg, I leave white because Jesus rose from the dead, leaving his tomb and completing his promise. From all the way back in the garden, Satan would bruise his heel, but he would bruise Satan's head. And because his promise was fulfilled, Jesus became the perfect lamb sacrifice. So we no longer have to worry about death. Our sins are washed white as snow, just like the final egg. And we have eternal life because of what Christ did for us.

SPEAKER_03

That's a great reminder and a great way to celebrate the Easter season. This week. And today we're gonna share one of my favorite verses. It's from Joshua 1.9. Joshua is a young ruler and he was afraid. And this is what God says to him before he has to do some pretty courageous stuff. He says, Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. you're afraid. Maybe you're new at Providence Academy and your first day's here and you're afraid to walk to the doors. Be strong and courageous. Maybe you have some really big challenges ahead of you. Maybe you have sickness. Maybe you have a parent or a grandparent who's very ill. Be strong and courageous. God is with you wherever you go. Maybe you're moving across the country. Be strong and courageous. God is with you wherever you go. Maybe you're just going to the lunchroom today and you're nervous about that. Be strong and courageous. God is with you wherever you go. What a great reminder. No matter where we go in our lives, no matter what happens to us, we don't have to be afraid. He's with us. Thank you. Heavenly Father, thank you so much for being with us. You didn't have to come down. You didn't have to send your son Jesus. You didn't have to save us. You didn't have to send us your spirit to be with us as a helper. You could have just left us on our own. We deserved worse than that. God, you're with us. Because of that, we have strength. Because of that, we have courage. We have hope. Thank you. It's in Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Alright, you have an incredible day ahead of you today. You have Bible, science, spelling, history, English, social studies, and a whole lot more. But remember, today is gonna be a great day.
