Welcome to the night show, except in the morning radio edition where we're coming at you sort of live and kind of on your radio each and every morning. It's Thursday, April 23rd, 2026. We have an incredible show for you. Today we have announcements. Bible with me. And a whole lot more to buckle up those e-belts and don't touch that dial. Because remember, today is gonna be a great day. Let's kick it off with some announcements. Every night, healthy week continues. Thirst quench Thursday. Water is vital for our bodies. It doesn't have to be boring. Be sure to check out the hydration stations around campus and stay refreshed throughout the day today. It's also the middle school art show all the week, and the middle school spring concert is tonight at 6 p.m. Come on out and enjoy some truth, goodness, and beauty. Now it's time. For the diceyest section of the show, we have weather with Rick.
SPEAKER_01Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, weather today, high 78, low 53, partly cloudy.
unknownMr.
SPEAKER_01Allen, I'm having a garage sale this weekend. But also, please don't come if I've ever borrowed anything from you.
SPEAKER_02Oh man, alright. Now it's time for the most educational part of the show we have. Weird science effects. Some sea creatures can clothe themselves naturally. Wow. Science, God's creation. He's already done it. He's already he already knows. Nothing has been done. That hasn't already been done. There's nothing new under the sun, I think, is what Ecclesiastes say. But people that are also not here because it's nobody's birthday! No one's cloned today. Nobody's born today. 850 kids in the school, 200 faculty and staff. Nothing. Nothing. But still, you can tell someone happy on birthday today. But now it's time for everybody's favorite monkey. We have Bible with Mick.
SPEAKER_00Good morning, Mr. Allen! Health week's almost over. But not before we get hydrated. Today I'm trying to drink two whole liters of water. But you know, this water only lasts so long. I'm gonna get thirsty again. Which is why I keep I'm keeping my water bottle around, is always a good idea. The Bible talks about a woman who needed some water, physically and spiritually. She was a Samaritan woman from the and that's whom the Jews hated. But she went to get water all along, probably because no one wanted her near them. She wasn't known for making good choices. Jesus, who's a Jew, asked her for water while she's gathering it at the well. And she's shocked at Jew asking a similar for a drink. Yet instead of scolding her for her bad choices, he offers her something else. John 4, 13 through 14 says, Jesus said to her, Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again. But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life. He was offering her forgiveness. She was so excited, so excited that she forgot a part and waited until the others in town. Water is really important. We need it to survive. Don't forget that you can have an even better drink. Living water offered to Jesus Christ.
SPEAKER_02That's a great. It's a great minor make. You know, this week we've been talking about encouraging each other. So today's deep thoughts verse is from Hebrews 10, 24 through 25. It says, and let us consider how to stir one another up to love and good works. Not neglecting to meet together as the habit of some, but encouraging one another all the more as you see the day drawing near. So we're gonna look at this verse a little differently today. How can you encourage each other to good works? What does that look like? Because sometimes we can encourage each other to make bad choices. I always say in general, don't do something off of a dare. Rarely does someone dare you to do something that is good. That is typically stirring someone up to bad works. So if you're daring someone, stop, don't do that. If you're someone that finds themselves susceptible to a dare, it's like, ooh, that'll be exciting, and I'm gonna make a bad choice, and then it kind of helps it so you feel like you don't have to take responsibility for the action because somebody dared you to, and you think they'll think you're cool. That's not what we're supposed to do as Christians, that's actually the opposite. So let's not do that. Let's be people that encourage each other to good things. Encourage each other to make the right choice. If you see someone making a bad choice, go to them and say, hey, I love you. I don't want you to make that choice. Let's let's make a good one. And when we see each other doing a good job at something, say it. Even if you've seen them do it a hundred times, if they're doing a good job at it, encourage them. We just saw all this artwork up in the hallway a couple weeks ago. Great time to encourage someone. If you see your friend made a good grade on a test, we're not supposed to share that kind of stuff, but if you happen to see it, encourage them. Let's be a group of people that are always encouraging each other. Encourage your teacher. Thank you so much. You did such a good job. Your parents, you can encourage them because they do such an awesome job being your mom or being your dad. Let's be a people that encourage each other to good works. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank you so much. You are an incredible God. Help us to be encouragers of each other. Help us to stir each other up to good works. It's in Jesus' name we pray. Amen. All right, you have an incredible day ahead of you today. You have Bible, science, spelling, history, English, social studies, and a whole lot more. But remember, today is gonna be a great day.
