We have an incredible show for you today. We have announcements sports updates. Bible with me. And a whole lot more. So buckle up those seat belts and don't touch that dot. Because remember, today is gonna be a great day. Let's kick it off with some announcements. Adulting 101 in eighth grade. That's a fun game day where they get to play the game of life and uh see all the different things that God may have for them and learn how to prepare and be responsible and start thinking ahead. Also, elementary spring recital is 3 p.m. But now it's time for the dicey section of the show. We have weather with Rick.
SPEAKER_01Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, weather today, high 73, low of 50, tea showers.
unknownMr.
SPEAKER_01Helen, my wife called to tell me that she saw a fox on the way to work. And I asked how she knew it was on the way to work. And then she hung up on me.
SPEAKER_02Oh man, alright, now it's time. For the most educational part of the show, we have science.
SPEAKER_03A day on Mars is only about 40 minutes longer than a day on Earth.
SPEAKER_02Mars and Earth, I guess they we we we spin about the same, we're similar size. You know, God's creation. It is incredible. But people that are gonna be wishing the day was a little bit longer, even more 40 minutes than 40 minutes longer, like it is on Mars, because it's their birthday, William Allen, and Christopher Browning. It's summer birthdays. We're hitting the leaves for the rest of the school year. May 26th, happy breakout Lydia Flame, and then May 27th, Vincent Carr. Happy summer birthday. Happy pivot up day. Sing a song, do a dance. It's your birthday. God gave you life. What a thing to celebrate. Alright, now we have everybody's favorite monkey. We have Bible with Mick.
SPEAKER_00Good morning, Mr. Hovin. I'm trying to move this big box to help out Mr. Hudson, but it's really heavy. There's gotta be an easier way.
SPEAKER_02What if we grabbed a cart? I can put it on the cart for you, and then you can push it wherever you need it.
SPEAKER_00Oh, that's a great idea. We also make it super easy to move around. It's amazing how easy things can be when you have the right tools and you know how to use them. You know, the Bible can be a tool to help us live an easier life, too. When I follow God's commands, my life can run smoother. Like if I obey the laws of the land, like Romans 3 and 13, one through two says, I don't have to worry about going to jail. Or if I follow God's plan for the family in Ephesians 6, then there's less stress and drama, and our relationships can grow stronger. If I follow 1 Thessalonians 4, 11 and 12 and mind my own business not being nosy, I'll have more peace within my relationships with others. God has given us the tools that we have that are the most rewarding life. But that doesn't mean everything will always be perfect. And sometimes sometimes what others say goes against what God says, and it can cause another level of difficulty. But God's given us everything we need to receive the most rewarding life, even if life doesn't get easier until after we go to heaven. Sometimes the easiest way is always there, but we don't see it, or we forget it's there. Like the card. And he will lift our heavy burdens. Like Matthew 11, 28 through 30 says, Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me. For I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. God's way is the best way.
SPEAKER_02That's a great that's a great reminder to make. Following God, using his ways. This week in our deep thoughts versus If you're like me, towards the end of the school year, I can grow weary. But God warns us about temptations that may happen if we grow weary. So Galatians 6 9 says, And let us not grow weary of doing good. For in due season we will reap if we do not give up. What a great reminder. Don't grow weary in doing good. Sometimes you're working hard to do good things. And it feels like everywhere you turn there's an obstacle. Things are hard and you get tired, and you just want to give up. And you're like, is this even worth it? And God's God knows that this is gonna be a temptation. He knows our hearts. And he says, Don't grow weary of doing good. For in due season we will reap if we do not give up. Sometimes that reward is just on the other side. Sometimes that reward is not until we get to heaven. And we we celebrated 20 years of Coach Cash being here at Province Academy the other night. And Coach Cash's rewards are in heaven. He will have many jewels upon his crown. He won't receive those here on earth. And so it's not always earthly things, but there are earthly things that can that can happen if we don't give up. But you're not gonna see any good fruits if you give up before it's done. So push through. Continue working hard as unto the Lord. So let's pray to Him. Heavenly Father, we confess that we grow weary. But Lord, help us not to get grow weary of doing good. Help us to finish strong. And Lord, we look forward to the day that we will reap those rewards. And Lord, we understand that some of them will be on earth, but Lord, some of them won't be until we are in heaven with you. But Lord, we thank you. So fill us with your spirit, fill us with your peace. It's in Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Alright, you have an incredible day ahead of you today. You have Bible science, spelling, history, English, social studies, and a whole lot more. But remember, today is gonna be a great day.
