Welcome to the night show, except for the morning radio edition where we're coming out just sort of live and kind of on your radio each and every morning. It's Tuesday, May 19th, 2026. We have an incredible show for you. Today we have announcements. Bible with me. And a whole lot more is a buckle up those seatbelts and don't touch that dot. Because remember, today is gonna be a great day. Let's kick it off with some announcements. Ninth through 11th grade exams are today, and it's also pre-K field day. That's always a fun day. Got lots of uh exciting competitions. So get out there and enjoy them with your friends. But now it's time for the Diciest section of the show. We have Weather with Rick.
SPEAKER_01Weather today, high to nine, low 62, partly cloudy.
unknownMr.
SPEAKER_01Holland, what did the hog say when it crawled into the oven? I'm bacon in here. Get it like bacon. Yeah, we got it. We got it.
SPEAKER_02Alright, now it's time for the most educational part of the show.
SPEAKER_01We have weird science effects.
SPEAKER_02That's weird to think about. And like if no one says anything about blinking, I don't think about my eyes blinking, but as soon as you mention it, I like notice every time it happens. It's kind of weird. God's creation is incredible. People that aren't gonna want to close their eyes, they aren't gonna want to blink today because they don't want to miss a second of their birthday. It is your birthday today in the summer, June 15th. Miss Shea Gilmer. It's your birthday today. Sing a song, do a dance. It's your birthday. God gave you life. Alright, now we have everybody's favorite monkey. We have Bible with me.
SPEAKER_00Good morning, Mr. Helen. Hey, what's that smell? Something really stinks in here.
SPEAKER_02Don't look at me.
SPEAKER_00I took a shower this morning and sprayed myself down with X body spray. So it can't be me. So that means it must be. When was the last time you bathed red?
SPEAKER_01I don't know. Maybe four or five.
SPEAKER_00Four or five days?
SPEAKER_01Of course not. More like four or five weeks. Wasn't born a battery. You just get dirty again. Besides. I can get away with being a little stinking.
SPEAKER_00No, that's not magical. Some of my things are complaining. Just like I did when it's not again. I'm just gonna complain again for a minute. And the blood of Christ cleanses me over and over again. Christ blood cleanses your sins, but you need some self for that thing.
SPEAKER_02That was that was a great reminder, Mick. You know, as there as we're going into the summer. Sometimes you're like, you know, Mr. Holland, I I don't have my usual routine. You know, I'm used to coming into school and I listen to the night show, and that's good. And then I have Bible class and that's great. And then I learn all kinds of great things. And the summer I don't I don't know what to do. And so I'm gonna read this first to you. It's it's it's gonna help prepare you because you're gonna have more freedom in the summer than you usually have, and and that's what we've been trying to prepare you for here at Province Academy, is a life of freedom. So Psalm 1 30 through 3012 says, Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers, but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He's like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in season, and its leaf does not wither. In all he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but they are like chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore, the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. There's a lot of big words in here. But what what I want you to focus in on is that you have to make a choice of who has influence in your life. And so this summer you're gonna have more choices than you probably had during the school year. And so when you watch a show, when you maybe hang out with friends in your neighborhood, you're gonna have to decide, are you going to receive the counsel of the wicked? Or are you gonna be like the tree planted by streams of water that meditates on the law of the Lord day and night? What kind of water are you going to be taking in? And so, yeah, you might be able to have some more access to a screen or to a game or to idleness. But God says, Don't do those things. Make sure that you're meditating on good things, that you're taking in good things, so that you'll prosper. So your leaf will not wither. So let's pray that the Holy Spirit will give us wisdom as we have more freedom. Heavenly Father, prepare our hearts for this summer. Lord, help us to make a plan to make good choices, to read good things. Lord, protect our hearts and our minds. So that we can be like the stream, like the tree planted by the stream of water that yields fruit and season. It's in Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Alright, you have an incredible day ahead of you today. You have Bible, science, spelling, history, English, social studies, and a whole lot more. But remember, today is gonna be a great day.
