Welcome to the ninth show except for the morning radio edition where we're coming out just sort of live and kind of on your radio each and every morning. It's Thursday, May 21st, 2026. We have an incredible show for you today. We have announcements updates. Bible with me.
SPEAKER_00And a whole lot more. So buckle up those seatbelts. And don't touch that dot.
SPEAKER_01Because remember, today is gonna be a great day. Let's kick it off with some announcements. Ninth through 11th grade exams are still going on. Here in the last couple of days. Kindergarten graduation, 9 a.m. Elementary Awards Day, 10:30 a.m. Middle School Awards are at 1.30. It's an exciting day to celebrate what God has done in your lives. Celebrate the faithfulness that you've had with the gifts that He's given you. But now it's time. For the dice section of the show, we have Weather with Rick. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, weather today, high 78, low 54, scattered tea storms. I think that's for thunder. Why don't they just put it that way then? I I don't know. This is the way it is. Mr. Holland, what do sprinters eat before they race? I don't think carbohydrates? No. They don't eat anything. They fast.
SPEAKER_03Oh man.
SPEAKER_01Alright, now it's time for the most educational part of the show.
SPEAKER_03We have Weird Science and Facts. Some fish can survive in water nearly as salty as the Dead Sea.
SPEAKER_01The Dead Sea is some salty water. If you lay on it, you just kind of float on the top. It's so salty. But people that aren't gonna be feeling salty today, they're gonna be feeling sweet. Because it's their birthday!
SPEAKER_00Isabella Smith, David Stewart, and Samuel Carter. Summer birthday, June 16th, Mrs. Laurie Smith.
SPEAKER_01Happy birthday, summer salty don't it. It's your birthday, happy birthday. Life. What a great thing to celebrate. Alright, now we have everybody's favorite monkey. We have Bible with Mick.
SPEAKER_04Good morning, Mr. Alman. Welcome today's night show, except in the morning radio edition Bible characters award ceremony. In honor of our Bible heroes, we have learned so much about this year. And just a few categories for this year's prestigious awards. Our first category is Best Liar. Was it Abraham for telling his wife to claim that she was his sister? Rahab for hiding the spies and telling the men that they had just left and to quickly run after them and catch them. Or was it Jacob who lied to his own father to steal his brother's blessing?
SPEAKER_01Wait a minute, Mick. I don't think we should be giving awards to liars.
SPEAKER_04Why not? We give awards to sinners all the time. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Well, I guess it is important to note that God didn't reward these people because they lied. But we rewarded them because even though they lied, they were valuable servants for him. God called sinners to serve him. I guess I shouldn't give out the award for the best murderers either. But think about it. Moses murdered the Egyptian. King David murdered Bathsheba's husband so that he could take her as his own wife. And Saul, better known as the Apostle Paul, killed Christians. God didn't die for people who were perfect, he died for all of us. And it's just proof that no matter how we sin, we're never too bad to be forgiven. God used Abraham to be the father of all his people. God used Rahab as Jesus, his own ancestor. God named Jacob Israel and his sons made up the twelve tribes of Israel. God made Moses to save the Israelites from the Egyptians. God used King David to lead his people. God used Paul to testify and bring thousands of people to Christ. So maybe they don't deserve an award for their bad behavior, but they definitely earned the reward of eternal life.
SPEAKER_01That's a great reminder, Mike. You know, this week we've been looking at what God would have for us this summer. And so today's Deep Thoughts verse. I figured we'd finish the last full day of school with a theme verse for the year. Psalm 19, 1 through 2. You probably haven't memorized. In the summer, you're gonna spend probably a lot more time outside, and that's a good thing. But when you get out there, I want you to look around. And I want you to see how much God is telling about himself and his creation. When you look up at the stars, know that he placed them there for his glory. If you jump in a stream or a river, know that God put those things in place at the very beginning, knowing that one day you would jump in it. Nothing passes without his knowledge. Nothing happens without his perfect plan. And his creation is telling you things about who he is. He makes all things new. He's eternal. He's beautiful. All those things you're gonna see this summer. So encourage you to stay outside as much as you possibly can. Avoid the temptation to go in and sit down and get out there and see what God has done. Let's pray to Him. Heavenly Father, thank you so much for your creation. Lord, that you made it for your glory. Lord, so that we can learn more and more about you each day. So, God, help us to get outside this summer, to see what you have done, to marvel at your beauty. And Lord, let us see it for what it is. Your handiwork. It's in Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Alright, you have an incredible day ahead of you today. You have Bible, science, spelling, history, English, social studies, and a whole lot more. But remember, today is gonna be a great day.
