Wakes up in the morning or radio dish whoever coming at you, sort of live and kind of on your radio each and every morning. It's Friday, May 22nd, 2026. Last day of school. We got an incredible show for you today. We have announcements. Bible with me. And a whole lot more is a buck.

Up those seatbelts and don't touch that dog. Because remember, today is gonna be a great day. Let's kick it off with some announcements. Ninth through 11th grade exams is the last day. It's the last day of school. Half day. Elementary dismisses at 11:20, middle school and high school at 11:30. And pre-K and kindergarten orientation. It's 12:30 p.m. It's what a day. Busy day. Lots of exciting things happening. But now we have the dicey section of the show. We have weather with Rick.

We're at the bottom of the barrel. That was a good one. I liked it. Alright, now it's time for the most educational part of the show we have.

We are designed to tax. Your small intestine is about 20 feet long.

Whoa. That's your guts. If you don't know what an intestine is. 20 feet long, that's like probably longer than your car. Man. God's creation is incredible.

Good morning, Mr. Holland. Happy last day of school! I'm ready for summer vacation. Got my sunglasses, my hat, an amazing bright blue, pink, and green Hawaiian outfit. And my favorite beach accessory, sand.

I love sand, Mr. Holland. It's the glitter of the sea.

It's not that I don't like sand, Mick. It's I just don't want it in my office. It gets everywhere. Even if I vacuum, it's still finding it weeks later.

Oh, I'm sorry, Mr. Holland. But you know what? That's kind of like the little gems of God's truth that we learned all year. All the memory verses and stories and chapel talks, all the life lessons that the students have learned all year, they stick with us for days, weeks, and even years. Have you ever gotten sand in your food, Mr. Holland?

Oh, yeah, it's awful.

Sometimes we might be ingesting God's word, and we'll come across something that really stands out as if we've never noticed it before. It might even surprise us, and sometimes it can be hard to chew. But God's word is the living word of God. It speaks to us now just as God spoke to his people thousands of years ago. Hebrews 4 12 says, For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the divisions of soul and of spirit, of joints and of morrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of our heart. So God's word is living, it's unchanging. But we're the ones who have to search in and learn. Sand is made up of tiny bits of rock. God's word is made up of very important truth, so that it's not a perfect analogy. In fact, God tells us to build our house on the solid rock, not the sand. And the rock is God. Sand comes and goes. And if we don't remain in the scriptures, the little gems of knowledge we learned in this school here will come and go over the summer. So even though I'm not sharing God's word with you this summer, don't forget to play in the sand. S. Study scriptures, A, ask questions, and never stop praying. And D, devote your life to God.

That's a great, that's a great reminder, mate. You know, as we close out this school year, I'm gonna leave you with a verse. And it's it's a it's a verse that you might be familiar with. It's numbers 6, 24, 26. It says, The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. Know that you were loved this summer. You're loved by your Heavenly Father. You're loved by me and your teachers and your parents. And God has an incredible plan for you this summer. But we're gonna miss you. We're gonna spend the next 10 weeks preparing diligently for your return in August. So that we when you come back, we can continue pouring God's truth into you, into your hearts and into your minds every single day. But don't go into the summer thinking that you're not loved because you are. So let's pray to God. Heavenly Father, we are so thankful for this school year. God, over the last 180 days here in school, you've transformed hearts and minds. So, Lord, we we don't take that for granted. We're so grateful to be a part of Providence Academy. So, God, let this summer be a time of blessing, let it be a time of growth, let it be a time of rest and exploration and new experiences. But Lord, let us turn all those things back in worship to you. It's in Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Alright, you have an incredible half day ahead of you. You probably don't have any subjects, this class, parties, and fun, and hugs goodbye, and see you soon.
