Good morning, Mr. Allen. Mr. Allen, I want you to close your eyes for just a minute. And I want you to describe to me how it feels.

Right now, I I I feel a bit nervous.

Ooh. I feel a breeze, like a gust of wind.

Okay, you can open your eyes now. I was fanning you with my paper fan here. Okay, this time you can keep your eyes open. And I want you to watch this ball. I'm gonna fan the ball this time.

And now the ball's rolling across the desk.

Right. Did I hit the ball?

No, the wind from the fan moved the ball.

But how do you know? Did you see the wind?

SPEAKER_03 3:26

Well, no. I felt it when he fanned me.

But how can you believe it if you can't see it? You see my fan, I can touch it, I can see it, I can smell it, it's physical. But the wind I make with it is invisible. But being invisible does not mean it's not real. Some people think God isn't real because they can't see him. They'll believe in gravity and magnetism and wind. God is invisible just like these other forces. And we can see him the way we see gravity by observing the things he said. You can see the wind when I feel you feel it. We feel God too by his spirit. Maybe it's a guilty conscience. Maybe it's peace when everyone else is worried. Maybe it's joy when we're sad. We feel God's presence all the time because he's always there. We can see him move too. Like the wind of the ball, we see God move us. He may move pieces of our lives so that his providence can be shown. Or he puts people in our lives to help us. He provides for our needs. He's always working in our lives. But we can see the invisible God too. When we see his son. Colossians 1.15 says he is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. Jesus is God.

That's a great reminder. What an amazing blessing that God sent his only son to earth. That we could see him. What a blessing. You know, as we're in our third week of the school year, you may be feeling a little stressed. All the things start to pile on. You've got homework and sports practices and all the things. And so this week we're gonna talk about peace. So today's Deep Thoughts verse is from John 16, 33. It said, I've said these things to you that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but take heart. I have overcome the world. Because there's so much tribulation, you might be like, Mr. Holland, what is tribulation? That just means trouble, trials, challenges. The world is full of them, and the older you get, they don't go away. They just grow. That's the truth of it. But in Christ we have peace. See, without Christ, we could think that this world was all there was. And that these problems were out of control and they could consume us. Since we know that God has already won, we know the outcome, we know the end, we know the world is in his hands, that he is in full control. We can have peace. Peace that others don't get to have. But sometimes we act like we don't have it. Sometimes we forget that God is in control. And we can become nervous and we become anxious. Guys, I don't do that. Have peace. Take heart, I've overcome the world. So let's praise him through prayer. Heavenly Father, thank you. Thank you so much for being a God of peace. Thank you so much for loving us. That you overcame the world. So that we could rest in you, that we could trust you. But Lord, we forget, we confess, that we act like those things aren't true sometimes. We forget that that is the truth of who you are, and we act in ways that are out of control, that are full of anxiety and fear. The Lord call us back to your word and call us back to your truth every day. It's in Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Alright, you have an incredible day ahead of you today. You have Bible, science, spelling, history, English, social studies, and a whole lot more. But remember, today is gonna be a great day.
