SPEAKER_02
We've got we have volleyball games, soccer games, and then Friday night, 7 p.m. football versus West Green home game. Come on out and support the Knights. But now it's time for the diceyest section of the show. We have Weather with Rick. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, weather today partly cloudy, high 84, low 59. Sterling, I read that giraffes can grow up to 18 feet. All the ones I've seen only have four. Oh man, alright, now it's time for the most educational part of the show. We have weird science facts.

In 2012, astronaut John put the yo-yo to the International Space Station and showed off some cool tricks.
SPEAKER_02
Even without grabbing it, the yo yo still works as long as you keep the stream tight. Huh. Fascinating. You don't even need gravity for a yo-yo to work. God's creation. It's incredible. It's not just here on Earth, it's in space, too, but people that are gonna be feeling like they're living on the moon because it's their birthday!
SPEAKER_01
Anna Grace Campbell, Anna Gil, Bo Stegner, Branson Robert, and Rose McCoy. Happy birthday! Happy birthday to you, living a birthday.
SPEAKER_02
Sing a song, do it dance. Dad gave you life. What a blessing that is. And now it's time for everybody's favorite monkey. We have Bible with Mick.
SPEAKER_00
Good morning, Mr. Holland. I found this old camera in Green Cheese basement. Where's the screen?
SPEAKER_02
Oh, that's an old 35mm camera. It doesn't have a screen because it uses film. You have to put the film in here, and then after you take about 24 photos, you take it to a store for them to develop and get back in a couple hours, or sometimes longer.
SPEAKER_00
A couple hours? Or longer?
SPEAKER_02
Yeah, and sometimes only a couple of the pictures you developed were actually good ones.
SPEAKER_00
You can't just delete the bad ones?
SPEAKER_02
Nope. You just have to hope you did everything right. Times have changed quite a bit.
SPEAKER_00
They sure have. Imagine having to wait to see if everyone was looking at the camera or have their eyes open. Technology has changed a lot over the years. Now I can take as many pictures as I want and see what they look like and upload them to the computer instantly. It's kind of like prayer. I can pray as much as I need to or want to. The Bible even says to pray without ceasing. I'm not limited to twenty-four prayers like this cabinet with pictures. I can pray for anything, anywhere, anytime. My prayers are too. I don't even have to say the cloud, God knows. I'm putting it to the cloud in a major way. And when I'm printing my pictures, I tell the computer what I need. And it doesn't matter, seven, seven. God answers prayer. When I'm seeking God's will, he will give it to me. Sometimes God answers prayer with a yes, sometimes it's not yet. Sometimes it's a no. But he always answers me prayer. Isn't it much use to me now? It's cool. It's hard to find and place to develop is pretty expensive. God wants a relationship with us. And that will never be outdated.
SPEAKER_02
That's a great that's a great reminder. Today's Deep Thoughts verse is from Romans 12.12. It says, Rejoice in hope. Be patient in tribulation. Be constant in prayer. Sometimes I read this verse and I realize I'm I'm not good at any of these. Sometimes I can rejoice in hope. Sometimes I can just find the bad even in the good. And I focus on the negative. And I forget to rejoice in hope. To rejoice in the beautiful things. The next one I'm really bad at. Be patient in tribulation. Whenever I'm going through something hard, I I try to get out of it as quickly as I can. I'll I'll thrash about. And usually only makes the situation worse. And the last one is something I'm really working on. And that's be constant in prayer. When the when the hustle and bustle of life gets busy. Sometimes I prayer's the first thing that I cut out. And I want to be the opposite. I want to be the last thing that goes. So just what a great verse, just to remind us. You know, God, his word is his word is perfect. And it's true. And he gave it to us, and what a gift it is. So rejoice in hope. Be patient in tribulation. Be constant in prayer. What a great thing to remember every morning. So let's pray that God will help us. Heavenly Father, we confess. We confess that we are quick to find fault and we don't rejoice in hope. And we want to get out of trouble as quickly as possible, and we don't want to learn from it. We just want to get done with it. And Lord, we forget to come to you and spend time with you. And pray to you. So Lord, transform us from the inside out. Make us lovers of these things. But Lord, without your spirit, we're doomed. But Lord, with you, anything is possible. So transform us, O Lord. It's in Jesus' name we pray. Amen. All right, you have an incredible day ahead of you today. You have Bible, science, spelling, history, English, social studies, and a whole lot more. But remember, today is gonna be a great day.
