About Abigail Hawk
Best known for her long-running role as Detective Abigail Baker on Blue Bloods (2010–2024), Abigail is a Chicago-born theatre graduate from the University of Maryland who has moved seamlessly between television, indie film, and stage. She’s also the star of the award-winning indie film Daruma and has appeared in Almost Paris and other acclaimed productions.

On 27th and 28th August 2025, Abigail takes the stage at the Civic Centre Dublin in Bada Boom, the new immersive theatre experience by writer Niall Austin. This is not a standard play – it is interactive theatre with a twist, a world-first blend of gaming, storytelling, augmented reality, and live performance.
The story:
A storm rages outside while a retired assassin, played by Peter Smith, recounts his past to a curious writer. But his memories do not stay still – they sing, scream, and bleed back into the room. This is part thriller, part opera, part game. At key moments, the audience joins in via their phones, stepping into augmented-reality flashbacks with clowns, cowboys, and soldiers returning from the dead.
