Today I'm discussing a too-close-to-home situation that occurred recently in our tight-knit area. As our family and community lived through this experience, I've had to figure out some ways to share the current events with my children. I thought I'd share some ideas here. Though it is hard to discuss and share when these events do happen, we want to speak in a way that our kids can feel both safe and able to express their concerns and questions.
