As a touring musician in a rock band, Kevin Schuer had experienced the life of traveling on the road, performing and feeling the adoration of fans. But after starting a family, he knew he needed a backup plan, too. That led him down his academic path, where he became a professor in the department of Physician Assistant Studies.

As it turns out, there’s more than one similarity between the two professions. And Dr. Schuer, who still performs regularly, wants to point out that you don’t have to quit exploring your creativity because you have a steady PA job — something he also loves very much, by the way. As he says, you do not have to give up your identity — so come with us as we Scratch that Itch with Dr. Kevin Schuer, on this episode of The Way Podcast.
