Who would have thought that a podcast started by someone with no initial knowledge on autism would make it to 25 episodes?
Well, we've done just that, and it's all thanks to your unwavering support and our amazing guests who've courageously shared their experiences living with autism.
As we take a short break to celebrate the holiday season with our loved ones, we encourage you to revisit our past episodes.
For those who are new, there's a treasure trove of enlightening conversations about autism waiting for you.

This journey of learning and growth wouldn't have been possible without you, our listeners, and the remarkable individuals who've become part of our podcast family. Your support has not only helped us chart on Apple and other platforms worldwide, but has also sparked friendships and a deeper understanding of autism.
We welcome your suggestions for future topics and urge you to share our podcast with others.
We have exciting plans for the upcoming year, including a song and video for Autism Awareness Month in April.
See you mid-January with a fresh new season, brimming with insightful discussions, laughter, and heartwarming stories.
Until then, wishing you a joyous holiday season and a new year filled with prosperity.

Speaker 1:

Welcome to why Not Me, the World podcast, hosted by Tony Mantor, broadcasting from Music City, usa, nashville, tennessee. Join us as our guests tell us their stories. Some will make you laugh, some will make you cry. Show life people who will inspire and show that you are not alone in this world. Hopefully, you gain more awareness, acceptance and a better understanding for autism around the world. Hi, I'm Tony Mantor. Welcome to why Not Me the World.

Speaker 1:

Today's show is a very special one. I do not have a guest, so it appears you're stuck with me. I promise only for a short time. I'll keep it short and sweet. When I started this podcast, I was told eight episodes. Most podcasts will make it to eight episodes and then poof, they're gone. Well, this episode is episode number 25. Can you believe that? 25 episodes?

Speaker 1:

After talking with several people finally deciding to do this podcast, I truly didn't think it would last long. How am I going to succeed when I know absolutely nothing about the subject that I'm going to be talking about? It seemed like a recipe for disaster. Who would want to come on to a podcast talking about their stories of autism with someone that knew nothing about it? It just didn't seem like it would work to me. So now here I am, making plans for next year. Because of you, I have gained several things out of this One, a podcast that is helping people. Two, people that are willing to tell their stories to the world. Three, and the most important, is the friendships that I have gained from doing this. Everyone that has come on this show seems like part of the family now. They've helped me. They've done so many things to boost the show, telling people, sharing it. I've gained so much in 25 episodes that I just can't explain it all. Together, we have made this podcast chart and rank in Apple charts and various charts around the world consistently. That's all because of you.

Speaker 1:

So, while you're taking time off, first and foremost, spend the best time that you can with your friends and family and enjoy this holiday season. If you have any downtime and want to re-listen to some of your favorite episodes, this is a time. If you're new to this podcast, I urge you to listen to as many as you possibly can for this whole lot of information in these episodes. Also, if you have any ideas, subject matter, anything that you'd like to hear on this podcast, just let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate. The last thing that I'll ask you to do is tell your friends and everyone that listened to this to go on to Apple or Spotify and hit that like button and, in Apple, leave a review. All those will help build this podcast.

Speaker 1:

I've got several exciting projects coming up for next year to help build this, including a song and a video to be released by April for Autism Awareness Month. So this is my last episode For a few weeks. I'll be back mid-January with a new season, so to speak. So until then, I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a very prosperous New Year and happy holidays to everyone. Thanks for being part of this. I'm really looking forward to what next year can bring to all of us. Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to listen to our show today. We hope that you enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed bringing it to you. If you know anyone that would like to tell us their story, send them to TonyMantorcom Contact Then they can give us their information so one day they may be a guest on our show. One more thing we ask Tell everyone everywhere about why not me, the world the conversations we're having and the inspiration our guests give to everyone everywhere that you are not alone in this world.
