The Isaiah 43 Podcast
The Isaiah 43 Podcast invites you to behold the God who says, “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are Mine” (Isa. 43:1). Each week, we walk slowly through the Scriptures, combining careful exegesis with the rich truths of Reformed theology. These reflections on the Holy Scriptures aim to ground your faith, comfort your heart, and lift your eyes to Christ—our great Redeemer, Shepherd, and Friend. Whether you come weary, searching, or eager to grow, you’ll find a steady place to rest in the promises of God.

Week 109: The World Wants to Silence Us
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
The world wants to silence Christian's thoughts and views, but why? Why would anyone hate the message of faith, hope, love, and forgiveness? As we look at the Pharisee's response to the failure of the Temple guard to arrest Jesus in John 7, we will explore the answer as to why it wants to silence us. Yet, despite this knowledge of the world's rejection, we have a great hope and comfort that the sovereign God and king of the universe cares for us and will never abandon or reject us.
This week we will be reading the following Scriptures:
- John 7: 45-52
- Matthew 10: 29-31
- Romans 8: 28
- John 3: 19, 20
- Hebrews 13: 5, 6
- Psalm 27:1
- Matthew 10: 34-39
- Ephesians 2: 1-9
- Philippians 2: 4-9
- 2 Corinthians 4: 6
- John 6: 44
- John 15: 18-20
- Romans 8: 33-39
We look forward to seeing again next Friday!
