The Isaiah 43 Podcast
The Isaiah 43 Podcast invites you to behold the God who says, “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are Mine” (Isa. 43:1). Each week, we walk slowly through the Scriptures, combining careful exegesis with the rich truths of Reformed theology. These reflections on the Holy Scriptures aim to ground your faith, comfort your heart, and lift your eyes to Christ—our great Redeemer, Shepherd, and Friend. Whether you come weary, searching, or eager to grow, you’ll find a steady place to rest in the promises of God.

Week 110: Not Defined by Shame
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
In our lives, we have made mistakes. We have sinned and been so embarrassed by these things that we just want to bury them forever. Now, how would you feel if you were caught in the act of that sin? Not only that, but you were dragged out before hundreds, if not thousands, for all to see. On top of that, you were thrown before a judge who has every right to sentence you forever. That is exactly what we see unfold today with the story of the adulterous woman. This passage is one of the most beautiful and most powerful moments in all of Scripture that highlight the love and grace of God. Join us today as we explore how, by faith in Christ alone, our sins and failures are washed away forever. We are not condemned.
This week, we will be reading the following Scripture:
- John 7: 53-8: 11
- Luke 9: 58
- Mark 10: 45
- Philippians 2: 4-8
- Hebrews 2: 9, 10
- Hebrews 4: 14-16
