Episode 15: Postpartum Support with Ginny, Marlena and Elizabeth
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Childbirth and motherhood are often described as times of great joy and wonder. We gaze adoringly into the eyes of our "creation" and feel like our heart might just burst with love. But other feelings can accompany this season of life as well; exhaustion, frustration, depression and anxiety to name a few. In fact, many, if not all mothers will report a host of confusing feelings that might accompany the “happy” ones.
In this episode, we will explore the mental health challenges of the postpartum (post-childbirth) season and offer insight and suggestions for women (and their supporters) who find themselves grappling with emotions they had not expected.
Be sure to listen in to the second half of the show where Ginny shares information about our Postpartum Mom's Group starting up in October.
