Join me as I shed light on the dynamics that lead to reactionary abuse and the consequences it has on victims exhibiting this pattern of behavior as they struggle to survive abusive or narcissistic relationships.
Through personal anecdotes, I provide valuable insights into the long-term effects the shame from reactionary abuse had on my psychological, emotional and physical health. I examine the power dynamics involved and the ways in which abusers manipulate and control their victims through guilt, gaslighting and emotional coercion.
In the later part of the episode, I shift our focus to the healing and recovery process. I share my personal journey of survival, resilience, and finding empowerment and a sense of self-worth through vulnerability, compassion and curiosity.
