SPEAKER_00

Hello, World Design Know Podcast. Uh today is Sunday, May 24th, 2026. Chase, uh, what's good?

SPEAKER_01

Not much. Living the dream. How about you?

SPEAKER_00

Same, living the dream, same shit, different day. Um we're here with our summer watch list for June through August. Top 10 uh movies and television. Chase, um what's your ratio looking like? I know you like to throw in a bunch of TV. What you got cooking?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I would say mine's leans more uh well, actually once uh yeah, I lean more TV than uh movie, but I've I've still got a couple movies on here.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I have eight movies and two TV shows. Um I actually had to bump one of my movies out because there was a TV show that's coming out this summer that I completely forgot about. Um so so yeah. Well, let's get right into it, Chase. I'm gonna go first. Number 10 for me is a movie called Evil Dead Burn. Um there's a horror movie coming out on July 10th. Um, to be completely honest with you, um Evil Dead Rise came out, I think, three years ago, and I absolutely hated that movie. Um yeah, like like like it was scary, but the way it was structured, I wasn't a fan of it. Like, I hate horror movies that don't really have any like tension to it. Like, I like I like build up. I like I like build I love build-up, and there's there was no build-up to this movie, like it immediately starts and it just gets right into I don't want to spoil it, but it just gets right into everything. And like I'm not a fan. I'm not I'm not a fan of that.

SPEAKER_01

Like yeah, no, no, if you're gonna do a horror movie, there has to be some suspense, some uh anxiety, edge of my seat inducing moments, you know.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and like there were those moments, there was just no build. I need I need the build-up, like that's why I love the strangers. That's there's a build-up, that's why I like the Halloween movies. There's a build-up, there's there was no build-up in this movie. Speaking of horror movies, Chase, are you familiar with this new movie out right now called Obsession?

SPEAKER_01

Mm-mm.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, well, there's this new movie, there's a horror movie out right now called Obsession. Um, yeah, apparently it's supposed to be like this year's sinners or like weapons. All right, like it's it's a super big horror movie. I haven't seen it, but apparently there's a young lady in the movie that gives like an Oscar Orley performance. Um true. I need to watch it. I haven't seen the movie, but um the the guy that directed was uh this kid named Curry Curry Barker. Kid's only like 26. He was a YouTuber. Um and uh yeah, it cost I think the budget on this movie was like 700,000, but it's already made like over 40 million. So like crazy. Yeah, it's it's it's it's doing fucking amazing. Uh I wanna I do want to see it eventually, just haven't really had the time. Um, but yeah, we but yeah, Evil Dead Burn. Um, I love horror movies. Like I said, the the previous movie was scary. I just I just wasn't a fan of like the structure of it. But you know, um Evil Dead's like a pretty huge franchise. I need to dig in and watch some of the older ones. Um but yeah, Evil Dead Burn, it comes out on July 10th. Um, so yeah, I'm gonna give this one a try this summer. Um, Chase, what's your number 10?

SPEAKER_01

So number 10 for me, I won't spend too much time on because I'm sure you will later in this uh episode. Supergirl. Nothing against Supergirl, but just from the little tidbit we got from her from um Superman. Yeah, I'm excited for this movie, but it could be a bit higher, you know. She uh didn't show us a whole lot. She likes the party, she's cool with crypto, and that does have me intrigued. I am excited for uh the rest of the cast. We're gonna have Lobo and some other folks involved in this movie, but um yeah, not quite high enough to be higher up on the list, but still one of the top ten things I'm looking forward to.

SPEAKER_00

All right, um, I'm gonna let you go ahead with hero number nine.

SPEAKER_01

All right, number nine is gonna be Spider Noir. Spider Noir likes Supergirl. Um don't really know a whole lot going in. We got some of Spider Noir in the first uh into the Spider-Ver. It'll be dope to see uh Nicolas Cage, not one of my favorite actors, but the man commits, like when he uh really gets locked into a role, he makes some magic. Like National Treasure was as good as it is for a reason. Um, Ghost Rider wasn't a box office success as far as early Marvel goes, but hell, that movie is still like kind of a cult classic. So yeah. Nick Cage is goaded in these in a lot of his roles, hell. And I think uh Spider Noir is gonna be very interesting to see a superhero detective.

SPEAKER_00

What do you have against Nick Cage? You said he's not one of your favorite actors. What don't you like about him?

SPEAKER_01

It's not that I hate him or anything, but like I feel like for for a big name Hollywood guy, the the ratio for hits and misses needs to be higher. And it's not.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, okay, so I have a homework assignment for you.

SPEAKER_01

Alright.

SPEAKER_00

I want you to watch a movie called Leaving Las Vegas. Um it's starring Nicholas Cage. He won, he won, he won his only Oscar for it. Um he plays an alcoholic. It's a pretty good depiction of somebody being an alcoholic. Um, like it's up there with Denzel and Flight in that regard. Um yeah, watch Leaving Las Vegas. It's on Tubi, so it's free. Just get on Tubi and watch it. It's it's it's a real it's a really good movie. It's a great performance by him. Um I mean Spider-Horror actually comes out this week. Um, I think it comes out on Wednesday. Um so we definitely gotta dig into that. Um, definitely gotta dig into that. All right, one next number nine for me is um Insidious Out of the Further. Um, this comes out August 21st. I'm gonna just be real with you, Chase. Um, you know this because we watched Insidious 5 together, but I hated that movie. I thought it was horrible. Um also wasn't a huge fan of it either. I thought that I thought that shit was fucking trash. And I was telling myself, like, this franchise just needs to be done. I'm not fucking with it no more. But man, I can't lie, man. When that new when the first trailer for this new movie came out, they got me. They got me back. Um they got me back, you know. Um, yeah. The trailer for this movie looks fucking creepy. Um story-wise, I'm pretty sure a new family's involved. It's not, you know, the the usual family or whatever. Um so it'll be nice to get like a different family in there. Um, and also my girl Lynn Shea is coming back, you know, she's she's gotta be in her 80s by now. Like, hell, she was old as hell when the first Insidious came out. And that was 15 years ago. Um, but yeah, I don't I don't know much story wise, I don't know much, but you know, it doesn't take much to get me to go watch a horror movie. Um so yeah, Insidious out of the further. Um, all right, number eight for me is Supergirl. Um, you talked about this. Um this comes out June 26th. Um I'm gonna be honest, man. Before the trailers came out for this movie, I was super excited for it. Because like her cameo in Superman is one of my favorite scenes in that movie. Like, I I I don't know why I love that scene so much. Um but man, these trailers, it it's kind of brought down my excitement for this movie. Like, you know, I love James Gunn just as much as the next guy, but like I don't I don't want my super girl movie feeling like Guardians of the Galaxy. Like it just the vibe of it, it just feels so Guardians of the Galaxy. Like between between the music, the humor, and just like the colors of it. Like it's it's that like really darkish color.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we're in space, so we're gonna have a lot of uh purples and reds and blacks mixing together.

SPEAKER_00

It's weird, like like like I wish this version of space looked like the space in uh Project Hail Mary. Like, I don't I don't know, I don't think you probably haven't seen that one yet, but that's like that's like one of the it's on streaming now, I believe, but that's like one of the prettiest movies. That's like one of the prettiest movies I've ever seen. Um, ask you this. Um, what movie do you prefer? Interstellar or arrival?

SPEAKER_01

Interstellar. Arrival was good too, but Interstellar, I feel like, uh, from a story aspect, kept me intrigued as a longer movie. So I'm gonna go with that one.

SPEAKER_00

I asked that because I was listening to a podcast the other day, and these these guys they were like they were like comparing uh Nolan versus uh Denise Villeneuve, like their filmography. Um and they were and and they were doing it like like going backwards between their movies, so pretty much like Dune 2 or Oppenheimer, you know, which one would you pick? Oppenheimer. Really?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Dune 2 was good, but it wasn't as good as Dune 1. Like I felt like it was a bit more lackluster. Still enjoyed watching it, but I don't know. I was expecting it to build and be better than the first one, and it really wasn't, in my opinion.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Fair enough. Um, but they were going back like ranking their movies, and I'm gonna be honest, it was a lot closer than I thought. Um, you know, because you just assume no one will be no one will win, but it was like much closer than I thought going back to other movies or whatever. Um, but yeah, Supergirl, the trailers reminded me of Guardians, like, and like the crypto of it all, man. Like, I had no problems with crypto in Superman. I know a lot of people thought crypto was in Superman way too much. Um, I didn't have a problem with that.

SPEAKER_01

Like it was just the right amount. They didn't keep him around like as a mascot character, you know? It's not like Ash and Pikachu just walking around together 24-7. But yeah, he was involved enough to where like you didn't forget about him.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. So, like I said, I didn't have a problem with crypto, but apparently the story of this movie revolves around crypto like getting kidnapped and possibly getting killed. Um and I'll be honest, like, I know that's part of the woman of tomorrow comic that this movie's based off of. At this point, though, I'm just kind of like, you know, James Gunn, man. It feels like we're getting into like the one trick pony territory where you know, Superman, Crypto, you know, getting kidnapped. That's part of the plot. Then you go back to Guardians 3, Rocket getting kidnapped and almost dying, you know, Rocket almost dying and everything. Right. Like, I don't know, man. Like, I mean, we'll see how it does in the movie, but that's kind of got me.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, no, I um I wasn't aware of this this line of thought, but yeah, I do get it. If you're because I like James Gunn and I love Guardians of the Galaxy, but um, yeah, if you're gonna do like a whole DCU, you gotta you gotta widen the scope a bit more, you know? We can't keep having the same like fun uh motley crew buddy comedy action thrillers with um this simple plot line, you know?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Yep. Alright, Chase Go, you wanna go next? I think we're on number eight for you.

SPEAKER_01

Alright, number eight for me, Ted Lasso season four. Not gonna lie, I was not aware that this was happening until a couple of weeks ago. And yeah, I fuck with Ted Lasso heavily. I did not like where season three ended off. I thought it was really weak for what that series is, like if that was gonna be the series finale, I was kind of disappointed in that. That would have put it in the same boat as like um like Game of Thrones or Dexter, where like great series did not stick the landing, you know. And um, yeah, they're bringing it back. This man Ted is now gonna be coaching uh Richmond's women's team, I believe. Yeah. Uh Roy Kent. Our boy has been uh moved up to the head coach position. They're not gonna kick him out for uh Ted, even if he is coming back to England. But um, yeah, he's gonna be back over there. We're still gonna see a lot of the same cast, so that's gonna be cool. It'll be good to get back into that universe of like wholesome but really like gut punch emotionally show. So I'm glad to see we're getting more Ted Last. So that'll be number eight for me.

SPEAKER_00

Oh hell yeah. All right, number seven for me is gonna be scary movie. Um this comes out next week. Um, wait, is it next June 5th? No, I guess two weeks from now. Um yeah, it comes out June 5th. Um, the gang is back, not every single character is back, but we're getting the Wayne's Brothers, Regina Hall, and Anna Ferris. So pretty much the main people. Um, like I don't love these movies, but I do remember really enjoying them as a kid.

SPEAKER_01

Um, yeah, no, they certainly have um a nostalgia cult classic like vibe to them.

SPEAKER_00

I'm curious to see how they go about it though in 2026. You know, the world is so different now, people get offended, people get offended at damn near everything now. So I'm really curious about that, and also curious about like as far as like what movies they're gonna make fun of. Like just from watching the trailer, I do know that they do some shit on sinners and weapons. Um what else? I I'm I I I'm pretty sure I might have saw like a get-out reference in one of the trailers too. Um, so yeah, there's a lot of uh interesting shit. Um, so yeah, I'm excited for that. Chase, what's your uh uh seven? One on seven, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

All right, so number seven for me, X-Men 97. We're getting season two, the gang is back, and yeah, I'm really curious to see what the world is looking like after the aftermath of season one, you know? We had um the whole situation on uh I'm blanking on the name of the island, but this was supposed to be like mutant utopia, and shit got critical. The ops was waiting in the wings to fuck shit up, and they did on a tremendous scale, so yeah, we're gonna have to see our squad pick up the pieces and rally from this shit. And yeah, I am hooked before it's even started.

SPEAKER_00

Same here, same here. That will be coming up later. Um, number six for me is Toy Story 5. Um, I don't have much to say. Like this franchise really can't go wrong. Um, I think every movie is good. Like, I don't think none of these movies are bad. Um yeah. Lila the tablet being the villain. I think that's I think that's pretty amazing.

SPEAKER_01

Um you know I hate to cut you off, but uh Toy Story 5 is also my number six. So we'll yeah, let's just talk about it together.

SPEAKER_00

I can't wait for that shit. Do you do do you know who's voicing the uh tablet? I do not. It's uh Greta Lee, who would happen to be um the uh the Asian girl from uh the morning show. Um, okay. Yeah, that's her. She's she's interesting. Yep. Um, but go ahead, but go ahead with your thoughts on it. That's all I really have to say.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, no, I'm um I'm basically on the same wavelength. Like, I like the fact that they are progressing with the current timeline, and the main villain's gonna be a tablet, like a smart device or whatever. AI. It's gonna be interesting to see how our gang is able to uh combat this. Cause bro, we're talking about a bunch of action figures and dolls against a fucking uh you can connect to the Wi-Fi, you can connect to the Alexa and other devices around the crib and shit. Like, yeah, this is this is gonna be a fun movie. They're usually a fun movie, but this is gonna be very this is gonna be cool. I can't wait.

SPEAKER_00

All right, number five for me is is Disclosure Day. Um Steven Spielberg, man. This comes out June 12th. Um, this is a sci-fi slash alien film of some sort. Um, we haven't got a big blockbuster from Spielberg in a long time, so I'm excited. We got we got Emily Blunt, Josh O'Connor, and Coleman Domingo. Um, apparently, every we've seen like three trailers now, and apparently um everything we've seen in the trailers are from like the first two acts, so we don't really know anything about it going into it, which you know I'm excited about. Um, yeah, disclosure day, June 12th. So if you want to go with your number five, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Number five for me, the Odyssey. This is Greek uh Greek mythology, uh hell of a cast, and then we got Tom and Zendea in a movie again together. A bunch of other goaded actors. And yeah, this is gotta be one of them other uh summer blockbusters later summer, but shit. Still a part of that uh category. And I focused with these movies, I haven't seen um Gladiator 2. I've heard mixed reviews on that one, but like it's anything that uh is taking place in like ancient Rome, ancient Greece, or whatever, and especially if we're gonna be talking about uh Greek mythology, like gods and demigods and shit. Yeah, you've got my attention. So highly looking forward to this movie.

SPEAKER_00

All right. Um, number four for me is also the Odyssey. Um great cast, Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Ann Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Charlie Steron, John Bernthal, like everybody's in this fucking movie. Oh, and uh the most controversial person that's in this movie is uh Lupita Nyango. Um this is funny. The internet man shit like this makes me just want to get off the internet altogether. Um her characters are receiving a lot of criticism with her being a black woman portraying uh Helena's Troy. Um, you know, fictional character, by the way. Yeah, fictional character.

SPEAKER_01

Um not a real person.

SPEAKER_00

Who knew people were this passionate about the Odyssey? Who knew? Um, I don't know shit about the Odyssey, but I'm excited about this movie because it's Christopher Nolan. Um that's all I really need to say about it. You know, I'm excited. It's gonna be a big fucking movie. This is gonna be the first movie ever shot with all IMAX. Everything is shot in, so I suggest you go in and watch this in IMAX. This movie was filmed specifically for IMAX. Um yeah, July 17th. Um Chase, what you got for your number four?

SPEAKER_01

So number four for me, House of Dragon season three. When we last were in the world of House of Dragons, shit was hitting the fan. And since then we've gotten um Hero of the Nine Realms or the Seven Realms as a uh another spin-off in the Game of Thrones universe. It takes place a little bit after House of Dragon. And we know as the story goes that like Aegon and House Green are the ones who end up winning, but we're not rooting for them in House of Dragon. We're rooting for Rainera, the the queen who should have been. You know? And it's gonna be interesting to see how it all eventually comes to play out. Cuz yeah, one of her sons went down last season, got chomped up by a bigger dragon, and one of her uh right hands, Rainiera, also uh got taken down. So she's taking some L's and it's as much as I would like to see her win. You kind of know how the story plays out. Now we're gonna see how it happens. So yeah, highly looking forward to House of Dragon.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah. Alright, number three for me is gonna be X197 season two. Um, this is the thing that I had said that I had added in at the last minute. Um, because there's literally been no marketing for this show. Like, I don't know what Disney I don't know what it is with Disney and like their Marvel shows, but like they don't market that stuff at all. Like they really don't. Like this shit comes out in less than a month, and we have had no trailer for it. Um, and it was the same with Daredevil, like Daredevil, we never got trailers for Daredevil until like the last minute. Um I actually saw the other day, the ratings for Daredevil season two were like super low. Like it's one of the lowest it's one of the lowest Marvel Disney Plus shows.

SPEAKER_01

Um that's crazy because I thought it was really good.

SPEAKER_00

No, I did too, but I do think part of that is the fact that it's you know rated R.

SPEAKER_01

Um, yeah, I guess that does.

SPEAKER_00

I think that might have something to do with it, but but also like people just didn't know about it, bro. Like they don't market this shit at all. Um at all, which is super weird to me. Um, but X I love X-Men 97. Yeah, I love X-Men 97 season one. I'm super excited for our season two. Uh, I'm really curious to see like if everybody's coming back, or you know, who's all gonna be back with everything that happened in the last season. I'm also excited for I'm also excited for more cameos because we got a shit ton of cameos in season one. Um, like we got like who are we? We got fucking there was a Spider-Man at one point. There was a Spider-Man, there was a Daredevil, uh Captain America. Um, like there were a shit ton of cameos. So and then it's cool with the animation thing like that. You can pretty much use anybody you want. Um so yeah, I'm excited for that. Um, but yeah, Chase, you want to go with your number three?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, number three for me is uh uh bleach thousand year blood war final season. It's been a long time coming for Bleach as a whole, as a series. I was reading and watching that when we were in high school. Took a long ass hiatus. The series did the anime because uh yeah, it was getting too close to the author, like writing the actual chapters, so the anime cut off and he finished up the series, and it took him like 10 years to get back into actually producing the anime for it, and so far they have knocked it out of the park. Like the animation has been stepped up to a whole different level. They're capturing the essence of all of the characters, the main cast, giving everyone their moments to shine, have even added like anime-only scenes, giving more depth to situations. And yeah, our boy Ichigo is finally about to run into uh the big bad. Uh Yuabaha Iwak, however the fuck his name is pronounced. I don't know. But shit. Yeah, I'm hyped to see this uh fully animated as someone who read it years ago and now we're gonna finally see it. So yeah, that's number three for me.

SPEAKER_00

All right. Number two for me is Lanterns. Um, we talked about this on the previous episode, but obviously the new trailer came out a few days ago. Um, yeah, never seen Jon Stewart in live action. I'm excited for that. Hal Jordan, let's be honest, we never really seen him in live action. You know, if we you know don't count that abomination that was Green Lantern, the movie. Um, you know. Um, but yeah, um I'm be honest, I kind of need this to work, Chase, or else I'm gonna start having some real doubts about the DCU. Um, you know, to me, Superman is really good. Um Peacemaker season two. I thought it was, you know, I thought it was good up until that last episode, and that like really left a bad taste in my mouth. Um yeah, that last episode was so bad. Um Creature Commandos, I thought that was good. Um Supergirl, we haven't seen it yet, but tone-wise, we know Supergirl's gonna be closer to like Superman. Um and Lanterns. Lanterns is different. I mean, it it feels different. I mean, we'll see when the show comes out. I'm gonna I'm I'm gonna be kind of pissed if I if we got Hal Jordan cracking all these jokes like Star Lord. Like, I don't I don't need that. Um but you know, we'll see what's gonna happen. Um I've seen a lot of people criticizing this show feeling like too grounded, you know, and yeah, I I don't give a fuck about that. I like grounded shit.

SPEAKER_01

I just I just hope that would be uh that's a good juxtaposition from we just got Superman where niggas went to outer space. We have Supergirl coming up where niggas will be in outer space. Yeah, no, let's do something grounded with the Earth Green Lanterns. Letting Jon Stewart slowly develop as a lantern, you know.

SPEAKER_00

For sure. I'm I just hope I'm just curious. I just have questions about it though, because like two Green Lanterns being in like Nebraska investigating some murder, like I that does feel kind of out of place. So I'm curious to see. Yeah, I'm curious to see why they're there and all that good stuff. And I hope it's like explained well in a way that's not overly used as exposition or whatever. But like yeah, I'm super excited for it. Um that's my number uh that's my number two. Okay, so number two.

SPEAKER_01

Number two for me, Spider-Man brand new day. I'm expecting this to be the best of the Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. Like just going off the storyline that we've going, this is gonna be a more grounded Spider-Man. Not that um the first two Tom Holland ones weren't like grounded, but yeah, this is Spider-Man getting back to his roots, and we're gonna see him go through like a uh difficult growth period, you know? Powers going out of whack, body acting different and shit in ways you didn't expect. So yeah, it'll be uh interesting to see how this movie plays out. Also him being forgotten by everyone, you know, like MJ and Ned have no idea who he is, and he's gotta try to rebuild these relationships. So yeah, this is gonna be MCU Spider-Man in a way we haven't seen him before.

SPEAKER_00

True. Um, that's my number one. Um, this is actually my most anticipated movie for the entire year. Um, I have this over Doomsday simply because I I don't know, man. The Doomsday thing, like, I'm excited for it. It just feels like a lot. Like I'm curious. I'm I'm I'm really I'm I just have questions about Doomsday.

SPEAKER_01

Um I get you.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. But Spider-Man, we got a new director, Daniel does Daniel Destin Creton, who's the director of uh Shang Chi. Um I did see I did not know that. I I did see that they brought in Jackie Chan to help with like with like the fighting choreography. So hopefully that means hopefully that means the action sequences are gonna be pretty clean and pretty pretty good. Um my one worry is that there's just so many characters in this movie. Like I'm just gonna name off all the characters, the heroes and villains. We got Hulk, we got Punisher, we allegedly have Gene Gray, allegedly. Um we got we got Torque, we got Scorpion, we got Tombstone, and we got the Hand. Um and then I'm just throwing this out there as a guess. I think we're gonna have Daredevil. Like, I don't see why Punisher and the Hand are gonna be in this, and Daredevil isn't. That doesn't make any sense to me at all. Um I do think I do think Daredevil's gonna be in it. That's just a guess. Um, but yeah, that's a lot of villains. And I'm just like, you know, Spider-Man 3, that didn't work because of all the villains. The amazing Spider-Man 2, that didn't work because of all the villains. Like, I don't know, man. Like, I'm worried, but I'm also like super excited for it. You know, we're getting grown-up Peter. I do kind of wish we were moving away from the Ned and MJ thing, but like Tom Holland, like, you really think he's gonna be like, no, I don't want my bitch to be in the movie with me? Like, of course he's gonna want to stay in the movie.

SPEAKER_01

Um I do it would be cool if they like introduced to Gwen Stacy just to be like, yeah, you have someone else. And then like maybe Mary Jane still comes across him and oh yeah, this guy's interesting, but he's thinking about someone else now, you know.

SPEAKER_00

Fuck Gwen Stacy. I want Felicia in there. Get Black Kat in there, you know, get somebody sexy in there. Hey, that too. Um, but no, I'm I'm excited for this movie, though. I do think this is a big moment for Tom, man, because I do think this is the moment where he can surpass uh Toby and Andrew. Um it's just a longevity thing, like four Spider-Man movies, man. It's crazy. Four Spider-Man movies plus two Avengers movies, you know. Also, you add in Civil War. Like he's just had a lot of he's just had a lot of strikes at this thing. It's gonna be hard to surpass him, especially this movie's great. You know, last year's Spider-Man Man movies made a billion, you know. Obviously, no way home did what it did, but people forget Far From Home made a billion. And that's people people dog Far From Home, but I like I like Far From Home. Um, but Chase, what's your number one?

SPEAKER_01

So number one for me, Legend of Vox Machina. This is uh Amazon Prime original, it's from the world of D D. It's um a bunch of voice actors that we are all probably familiar with. Seen them in multiple different uh roles, but uh yeah, it's a DD campaign from a group of friends who are voice actors that have a YouTube page called Critical Role, and this YouTube page was so popular it's gotten animated. They've got two separate series going now. Legends of Ox Machina is going into season four, and um The Mighty Nine just started this past year, so yeah, they're cooking with gas with these series. I've not been one to get into their YouTube pages, but I've been enjoying Legend of Aqua Smokina, and in our last season we had uh main character central to the party, to the cast, uh die, and we're on the path to uh getting them revived. So yeah. Um curious to see where that world goes and what they're up to next. You know? They've uh worked their way up to becoming a legendary party at this point, so bullshit will continue to ensue, but they're ready for it at this point. So that's my number one.

I'm shocked, Chase. I'm shocked you didn't have the bear on your list. I'm shocked honorable mention to them, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I uh the bear and what else did I have? Yeah, honorable mention to the bear, uh Pokemon Horizons, which actually their final season just started uh this past week. But honorable mention for this list, I've enjoyed the world of Pokemon without Ash. They retired him a couple years ago as the main character. So yeah, we've just been following uh Lico and Roy and uh Dot for the last two or three years, and seen a lot of growth from each of them as characters. Uh, I've enjoyed this cast. None of them are trying to be like the strongest trainer, they're not out here um trying to collect all the badges and be the Pokemon master. It's one of them is trying to catch a legendary Pokemon, one is uh a vlogger, like literally dresses up as a Pokemon and does like live streams telling facts about Pokemon and shit. And uh the other was gifted a legendary Pokemon and is trying to learn more about it and the world of Pokemon. So I've I've liked uh I've enjoyed the Rising Voltaculars and uh Pokemon Horizons.

Oh yeah. All right, that's our list, both of our top 10 lists. Um, but that's all we got here for you today on the podcast. We'll be back next week. Um, Spider Noir comes out, so we're gonna be talking about that. Um, Chase, have a great have a great week, man. I'll talk to you later. Sure, fam. Later, y'all.
