The Fast of Daniel: Day 16
Discover the transformative power of the Holy Spirit to embolden even the most ordinary among us. As we enter the final week of the Fast of Daniel, today's message strikes at the heart of what divine empowerment truly means.
Consider who Jesus called as disciples—not the scholarly elite but fishermen who never attended college, tax collectors scorned by society, and others who might have seemed unremarkable. Yet through God's Spirit, these ordinary individuals spoke with extraordinary power that continues to resonate thousands of years later.
As we approach the end of our 21-day spiritual journey, now is the time to intensify our commitment. "Without wood, the fire goes out," the scripture reminds us. Add more spiritual wood to your fire in these final days—more prayer, more scripture, more intentional connection with the Holy Spirit. The result will be a divine boldness that equips you to overcome any situation, regardless of your background or perceived limitations.

Speaker 2:And then suddenly, from the sky, the sound of a strong wind filled the whole house and they were filled with the Holy Spirit. Fast of Daniel, 21 days pleasing the.
Speaker 4:Holy Spirit Hi there. May the Lord Jesus bless your life. Good morning to you. Good afternoon, Good evening Depends on the time that you are watching us. Let us go to today's subject. This is the last week of our fast, the fast of Daniel.
Speaker 2:The Holy Spirit is boldness to overcome Fast of Daniel 21 days pleasing the Holy Spirit.
Speaker 4:The Holy Spirit is the boldness of God inside of us to overcome. He makes you bold. Maybe you always say I don't have skills, talent, qualifications, education. I am an undecided person. I barely know how to sign my name, I don't know how to read. Guess what? The Holy Spirit gives you boldness.
Speaker 4:So it happened to the disciples. When Jesus called the disciples to serve him, he did not call people highly educated that were very intelligent. No, the first disciples who were they? They were fishermen, like peter. Peter was a fisherman. You don't need to go to college. I mean, I never heard that somebody went to college to be a fisherman. Fisherman, you just need somebody to teach you, to take you to the ocean, to the lake, to teach you how to fish. So Peter did not have education. God called Moses his speech. He had a speech problem, stammering. He could not speak properly. The Holy Spirit had not descended yet and God put his brother, aaron, to be his translator, to speak, to be his mouth before Pharaoh.
Speaker 4:Well, let us read the Bible. This is what the Holy Spirit does. When they saw the boldness of Peter and John, they perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men. They marveled and they realized that they had been with Jesus. That is so great. That is so great, that is so wonderful To know that Peter, john and the others, the sons of Zebedee, matthew, mark, luke they were uneducated Mark. At some point he even gave up. Yes, he gave up, but he was brought back by the Holy Spirit and Mark became a disciple. You see there, matthew who wrote the first gospel, mark, john, luke some people that were uneducated, others had education, but most of them they were men without skills. However, the Holy Spirit came upon them. The Holy Spirit came upon Peter, john, and when they spoke they said let us read that once again At the end of the verse they realized that they, peter and John, had been with Jesus.
Speaker 4:When you receive the Holy Spirit, you have boldness in spirit. When you go before the authorities, when you have to attend meetings, hearings, even to go to court, the Holy Spirit puts the words on your tongue and you speak with boldness, because the Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth, strength and he makes you bold to overcome any situation. In this last week, let us do more. The Bible says without wood, the fire goes out. Let us add more wood, let us do more and the fire of God will be upon you and inside of you.
